Man, ya'll kats just are the epitome of what a true site is suppose to be about. The togetherness on here is too much. I feel like I need to cry. Jay, them videos are so sweet on the real. Never thought I could "learn" plays from the game, but you inspired me to get my stick control up there like you. Kruza, dang!! All I can say. You've definitely did your homework. Man, props on the real. I Love This Site!!

Here is an updated text file of all of Kruza's playbook posts. It's broken down team-by-team in the directory and there is a master file in there too if you want to print them all (it can come in handy when playing)...

Kruza, please keep up the good work man! I played a couple of games with both teams running your playbooks and they were sweet. I just need to work on MY execution...

Is this a VIP file or a playbook file? How do I get it to work with my existing franchise? Thanks.

It's a playbook file - just copy it over to your hard drive (if you have one, or if you don't just leave it on the card). The game will recognize it as it boots up and load it automatically. Everything is set and you don't have to worry about it. To see if it worked, go to playbooks off of the My NBA menu and see if the quick play buttons were reassigned for each team.

This is amazing. Kruza this stuff is really good. I wonder did anyone from 2k development downloaded your playbook. Keep up the good work.

OK, I can't figure out how to load these into a current franchise for every team.. I can go in and manually change them for my team, but I can't seem to figure out how to load this file into a current franchise. I am assuming it cannot be done?

                          Now for the Heat. Starters:

                          PG - Jason Williams
                          SG - Dwyane Wade
                          SF - Antoine Walker
                          PF - Udonis Haslem
                          C - Shaquille O'Neal

I didn't have much of an issue with this lineup. I guess some Heat users may want to start James Posey over Antoine Walker, but that's about it. Personally it doesn't matter who gets the nod since they get about equal playing time throughout the course of a game. As for the plays, for the Heat I notice there are only 15 plays to choose from in their playbook as opposed to the usual 23-25 plays every other team has, which is kind of odd for me to see. Anyway, here they are:

Low Double Option (Baseline 1 set)
Using the Heat, it's only right to start off with getting Shaq the ball in the post to set the tone. And this play could get things going for him and the rest of the team. This play mainly involves Shaq and Toine. Check the Knicks section for description of this one.

                          Post SG-C (Baseline1 set)
Another Post play from the same offensive set, but involves Shaq and DWade instead. Take a look at the Lakers section for an explanation of this play.

                          SG Take (Motion 1 set)
Another common sense thing whenever using the Heat is to call on plays that gets DWade the ball in space. Here is an Isoation play to allow him to showcase his exceptional one-on-one skills. Check the Pistons section for a rundown of this one.

                          SG Iso (Motion 1 set)
Another Isolation play for DWade. A description can be found inside the Magic section.

                          SG Clearout (Baseline 1 set)
Yet another Isolation play for DWade. Check for an explanation of this one inside the Lakers section.

High Rub SG-C (Baseline 1 set)
Screen play that can be also ran like a P&R play involving Shaq and DWade. Check the Knicks section for a rundown of this play.

C Flash Post (Triangle 2 set)
Now it's time to get the ball back to Shaq the ball in the post. Here is a different play to do just that. In this play, JWill has the ball at the top of the key then drifs toward the opposite side of where the rest of his teammates are. Seconds later, Shaq works his way from the weakside to the low block on JWill's side. Then JWill feeds Shaq the ball as Shaq establishes position down there in the post and calls for it. Time for the Diesel to do some damage.

Block Screen Option (Triangle 1 set)
This play is designed to give Toine a quick basket near the hoop in the case that Shaq draws multiple defenders his way as a result of him abusing opposing team down there all game long. JWill gets the ball to Haslem in the high post area. Shaq will be positioned on one of the low blocks and Toine will opposite side about 12 or so feet away from the hoop. If Shaq draws a double- or triple-team down on the block, one of the closest defenders will be Toine's man. So if that defender goes over to try to help out on Shaq, Toine will cut to the hoop, and then a well-timed pass from Haslem will get Toine that layup that will be too quick for any defenders to recover to get back to him. Also in this play is DWade coming off the screen set by Shaq on the low block to head to the wing behind the arc. So Haslem could move along the FT line to the other side and get the ball to DWade instead of Toine. This could be great alternative option to mix up in your gameplan if Shaq is constantly drawing multiple defenders his way.

                          Next: Nets

We need an excel spreadsheet with all the teams and their correct plays.
Like the one Playmakers has done for NBA Live. I have not looked at the options but can you save each teams playbook on 2k7?

                              Here are the Nets. Starters:

                              PG - Jason Kidd
                              SG - Vince Carter
                              SF - Richard Jefferson
                              PF - Jason Collins
                              C - Nenad Krstic

I initially had thought about starting Cliff Robinson at PF since he can shoot better plus he's a higher rated player overall than Jason Collins. But considering the dynamic swingmen the Nets have who will take majority of the shots, rebounding is a bigger priority at the PF position for this team. So that's why I stick with Collins as starter. Now the plays:

                              SG Clearout (Baseline 1 set)
It's really a no-brainer to run an Isolation play for Vince whenever using this team, and this is one of them. Refer to the Lakers section for a rundown of this one.

                              SG Iso (Motion 1 set)
Another Isolation play for Vince. Check the Magic section for a description.

                              SF Iso (Motion 1 set)
It's now time to show RJ some love. This Isolation play can be called on to take advantage of his skills. He's not too far away from the basket when he gets it so that he doesn't have to do much dribbling and risk turning the ball over. Yet RJ's far enough to see double teams. Only Krstic's man can apply a quick double team in this play, and he'll be drifting toward the basket after he hands the ball off to RJ. So if you're quick enough to anticipate the double coming, RJ can dump it off to Krstic for an easy two.

                              Stack SG-C (Motion 1 set)
Here's a P&R play involving VC and Krstic. VC gets the ball from JKidd as he comes off a Krstic screen on the wing. Right after VC catches the ball Krstic sets another screen at the elbow then rolls to the basket. After coming off the second screen VC has the option of continuing his drive to the basket or stop and shoot the midrange J. On the way to the basket VC can make a dumpoff pass to Krstic if Krstic's man comes over to try and cut off his path to the cup.

High Rub PG-C (Baseline 1 set)
Time to call something for the floor general. This is Screen play that involves JKidd and Krstic which can also become a P&R play. Check the Suns section for an explanation of this one.

                              Return PG-C (Motion 1 set)
This is a P&R play involving JKidd and Krstic. First, Kidd passes the ball to VC. Next, VC hands the ball back to Kidd as Kidd approaches him. Now at this point this play develops into a typical P&R from the wing instead of the top of the key as in the previous play. Krstic comes over to set a screen for Kidd on the wing, then rolls to the basket. Then after coming around the screen Kidd has option of taking it all the way to the hoop or stopping and shooting the midrange J. On the way to the hoop Kidd could dump the ball off to Krstic if the passing lane is there.

                              SF Take (Motion 1 set)
Here's another Isolation play for RJ. In this play RJ moves along the baseline form one side of the court to another, and comes around a screen on the wing set by Collins. As he gets the ball, RJ has the option to either continue his way to the basket, stop and shoot the midrange J, or stop and get into triple threat stance and go to work on his man one-on-one.

                              Post C-SG (Baseline 1 set)
Here's a Post play for Krstic. Now Krstic isn't a dominant player on the block by any means. However, he can do enough damage down there to force the defense to honor him. This play also involves VC feeding him the ball in the post, and allowing Krstic to re-post if the situation calls for it. Or, of course, VC can break off the play and look for his own shot if Krstic isn't getting the job done inside.

                              Next: Rockets
