Now for the Blazers. Starters:
PG - Dan Dickau
SG - Brandon Roy
SF - Darius Miles
PF - Zach Randolph
C - Jamaal Magloire
I chose to start Dan Dickau over Jarrett Jack because Dickau is a far better shooter, and that's really needed to compliment the bigs who routinely posts up near the basket like these Blazers have. There is a disadvantage with controlling Dickau on the defensive end as opposed to Jack, though, so keep that in mind when checking opposing PGs him. As for the plays:
High Post Clear PF (Motion 1 set)
This play is designed to get Zach the ball in the high post area and go to work from there. Dickau passes the ball to Roy standing on the wing, then Roy relays it to Zach. Roy could also look for his own shot here instead of passing the ball if desired.
Pick Roll Forwards (Motion 2 set)
This is a Post play for Randolph but with some other options included. Refer to the Pistons section to get more info on this one.
SF Take (Motion 1 set)
This is an Isolation play for Miles. What good about it is that Miles doesn't get the ball too far away from the hoop so he doesn't have to take many dribbles to get all the way to the basket. At any rate, check the Sonics section for a description of this play.
Give Back (Motion 5 set)
This is a play involving Roy and Miles that has Roy slashing to the basket. Take a look at the Mavericks section for an explanation on this one.
High Rub PG-PF (Triangle 6 set)
This is a Screen/P&R play involving Dickau and Randolph. It's good to call on because of Dickau's shooting ability and also Randolph's ability to finish inside. Details on this play can be found inside the Pistons section.
Post C-SG (Baseline 1 set)
It's time to look out for the other starting big. This is a Post play involving mainly Magloire and Roy. Check out the Lakers section to read more about this play.
PF Post (Motion 5 set)
Here's another Post play to run for Randolph. The Magic section has more info on how this play is ran.
C Double Screen (Triangle 3 set)
This play is design to get Magloire a shot inside near the basket without him having to put in work on the low block to get position. Take a look inside the Nuggets section for a description of this play.
Final: Bobcats
