Alrighty, all credit goes to Kruza. I included the remaining teams. If you see any kind of issues with it, let me know. Once again, thanks Kruza for everything.

Re: Official NBA 2K7 Playbook Thread...
Wow, this is great stuff. Does someone want to finish up the WORD DOC and post here. My firewall, etc... makes it a hassle to try to get the software to open the .zip file type above.
ThanksComment

Can you use any teams playbook you want? Meaning, can I be Miami and use Clevelands playbook? If so how?Comment

Re: Official NBA 2K7 Playbook Thread...
Even when stripped to a reasonable minimum, it's too large to post as a regular .doc file (~100k limit), so I have zipped it along with a html version. Note that the html version is whatever Word gave me when I saved as html, so it probably isn't the cleanest code ever.
Special thanks belongs to kruza for writing playsets and notes for all 30 teams. Blame for any technical difficulties belongs to me, but unless either file is seriously broken, I don't expect to do further maintenance or editing.

Re: Official NBA 2K7 Playbook Thread...
Does anyone know how to port these playbooks into a current franchise, or if I start another franchinse will it carry the file into the new one?
BTW.. great job to everyone involved, especially Kruza for doing all of the leg work!Comment

Can you use any teams playbook you want or are you bound to the team that you are using? Meaning, can I take the heat but use the detroit piston's playbook for example?Comment

Re: Official NBA 2K7 Playbook Thread...
On ps2, your mapped quick plays are saved in the settings file. When you start a new association mode, it inherits the current settings, including mapped plays. Like it does with rosters, from that point on, the association maintains settings on its own. Other than user-controlled teams, you can't edit mapped plays in association. So if the other teams' plays aren't mapped when you originally start an association, you're out of luck. Also and this is a little nastier, when you exit association, the game remembers the association settings instead of restoring the general, and possibly different, settings you have.

Re: Official NBA 2K7 Playbook Thread...
I play on xbox 360 and I am pretty sure that it is impossible to use a different teams playbook in association mode. I know I can in exhibition mode but dynasty seems to be impossible which is silly because as some teams get different star players you might want plays for them. Example: Miami Heat have nothing for the PF.Comment

Re: Official NBA 2K7 Playbook Thread...
First, pause the game and select the team the CPU is using, and go to Coach Settings. For offensive playcalling choose "Auto w/ Msg". Then switch back to your team and start playing again. You should now see the name of every offensive play the CPU calls at this point.
