This Is Part 1 Of my trades with the Pacers. Well for now, I'm only putting up one of my many trades.
Pacers trade: T.J Ford, '12 1st Round Pick
Kings trade: M.Thornton
Reason: M.Thornton will be able to fill the bad depth of the SG spot in Indiana. I don't really need T.J Ford due to Darren Collison being a good starter. M.Thornton's actually gonna be part of my Trades. He's a better trade piece then TJ Ford.

These are the first two trades that I made in my Nets franchise:

I traded Ben Uzoh, a 2012 2nd round pick, and a 2012 1st round pick for Fields

I traded Kris Humphries, Mario West, a 2011 1st round pick, and a 2011 2nd round pick for Patterson and Hayes.

SO, if you can, Rate each trade and what are your thought on my new Lineup?

I love rating trades, so lets start off at the top

Trade #1: I love it, great trade for both teams involved. Hansbrough returns to NC where he dominates and Charlotte and Indy swap expirings in Dunleavy and Diaw. Indy improves with the DC aquisition and the pick is icing on the cake.

Trade #2: The 1st round pick makes it believable, without it, it would never be considered. Thorton has a tremendous upside. He is really fun to play with.

Trade #3: This is one that I disagree with but for the wrong reason. I am a huge Duke fan and Dahtay was one of the funnest players to watch in his Duke days. He was the definition of dynamic. But Weems is very much a similar player, and the pick makes it a good trade.

Trade #4: Whew, you are right about this one being a big one. I would hate to see what the ESPN trade machine would project as far as how many more games you lose after this trade. Giving up the franchise player and an '11 1st for AK and Devin Harris is ROUGH!! I see that Harris was used as a trading peice later so that makes the pill a little easier to swallow. Don't like the trade personally

Trade #5: Again, giving up a valuable peice of the Pacers' future is always going to be tough. I like George a lot and with time he will develop. Gaining Gay will help, but the 1st will be low and the Grizzlies, already a solid playoff team, gain some more young talent. However, Indy gives up a quality PG and SF for a low pick and a mildly better SF. Again tough, and I don't see why it was done.

Trade #6: Gaining Korver is a solid gain for shooting. He will definitely get minutes and thats more then I can say about most of the players involved in that trade.

Trade #7: I feel like Memphis got ripped off talent wise, unless the cap is favorable in their direction, I don't see why they do it. Both Allen and Arthur contribute so unless its a cutting cap strategy I don't like it. Works out well for Indy tho.

Trade #8: I feel like Indy gave up talent with this trade. Affalo is a beast on D, but with work Thorton could too, but MT has a waaay better offensive game. Personally I feel like not doing this one would have helped Indy.

Nothing wrong with trading to get the team you want. Please provide thoughts on why these trades were made if you have any. I love the process that goes into trading. The strategy is the best part of 2k11 IMO lol.

2012 1st for Feilds? That is a little extreme if you ask me, but if you are effective with him, it may be worth it.

I agree with mvspree8, plus that much movement would destroy the chemistry, staff, and likely the fanbase for at least a year or so. So with that said I have to say they were horrible trades.

I'm not really doing it on a Realistic point of view, and I don't have team Chemistry on.... But most of the trades were to gain pieces that I can use in the other trades. And don't worry, all the trades were done before anyone stepped on the court

Yeah those trades were pretty horrible. You essentially turned the team into a carousel. It's not even the least bit realistic as no team would trade over and over for the sake of trading. By that time your coach would probably want out and your fanbase would be non-existent. Seriously that much trading or more accurately "player flipping" is horrible. You literally traded away your entire roster.

SERIOUSLY??? As I SAID before, I'm not basing it on REALISM. I JUST wanted to make a completely New lineup, I even Stated it's not for realism, just to change the lineup.

There are fantasy drafts for that, but hey, it's your game play how you want. However, there's no reason to get all defensive when someone "rate's" your trade by stating their opinion. That is the purpose of this thread, ya know? Either take the feedback in stride, whether it be positive or negative, or don't post. It's really that simple, but there is no reason to flip out.
