A few things:
First, consistency. Mine is at 87, three at 85, and mid at 87. I still miss an infuriating # of shots. Wide open looks. If I am forcing it or playing in the offense. I struggle to shoot more that 40%, even if I focus on taking only shots with good shot selection. I have Ray Allen's shot which is one I am very used to, and my release is fine. Any advice? Seems like I have a hot first or second quarter then it is brick city then on. Maybe a jump shooter is just gonna shoot 40%? Should I keep maxing out shooting abilities? Threes are expensive now, like 2400 a point, so I don't want to waste them. I'm getting to the rim on occasion, but I like playing the Ray Allen way, so would like to get to a good % while still shooting a lot of Js.
Second, when running plays I set the screen but the screen direction does not disappear, and the play stalls. I jam on the circle button a few times and eventually it clears up, but when Arenas isn't hitting Paul George off the screen it kills me, as well as in other situations. This happen to anyone else?
Third: the great rebounding conspiracy theory
Know how the announcers always talk about rebounding? well, with hibbert injured the Pacers are struggling on the boards. And I think perhaps rebounding is tied most to the game's inner momentum workings. The knicks were out rebounding us like 30 to 20 in an otherwise close game and Chandler hits a three, challenged. Meanwhile, Granger is missing layups. Anyone else notice this? I think I'm noticing it a lot. Have the rebound advantage? Take some ambitious shots. Getting out hustled on the boards? Better play conservative. Am I on to something or crazy?
Lastly, I have clutch factor off in my main settings, but there seems to be no way to disable it in MP. My in game settings are set to Simulation but still when the shot clock is running out, the CPU team has a much higher success rate scoring and drawing fouls on contested shots. This gets a little old, but I'm learning to adjust (run over there last second to try to block the shot!)
