Is it just me or i can't get my contact lay ups to go in at all. Even with finisher equipped and 95 layup, shoot in traffic, inside and close range scoring in the 85 i still can't get my contact lay ups to go in. Even with the slightest bumps from one defender my player just goes into an awkward shooting position and misses it. I really wanna drive the lane and shoot since im really getting bored of doing jumpshots but it's just really irritating how i can't get any of em even if the opposing team's paint defense was very minimal.

If you have the finisher and your shoot in traffic and layup are high you should be able to do it..otherwise practice

Does the Championship belt pre-tipoff ritual actually involve a championship belt? That ritual is 2500VC while most others are 500 or less. I'd buy that ritual if it did involve an actual belt, but 2500VC is too much to find out if it does or not.

Anyone else noticing Finisher is totally not working at 3/3? Was 1/3 and 2/3 and it was fine, I really think there is a bug on this ...

So i am in my 2nd season, scoring 6'6 sg maurice morris drafted by toronto playing 6 mins all star sim.

First off....default vs sim is a huge difference. Sim is tougher, more realistic and more fouls.

Now in my career thunder resigned harden and wanted to ger rid of ibaka. Also derozan left in a t robinson trade as i drafted a 76 sf (12th pick!!) who actually won the freaking dunk contest im his first year ! I was in it too.

Lineup now

Calderon
Morris (mp...jordan meets kobe meets dr j lol )
Ibaka as center ( is that realistic?)
Robinson
Clifford kennedy the drafted sf who can dunk but awful shooting

Bargnani, ross, ed davis, johnson, lucas, valenciunas...


I am 24-31 now but just traded for robinson. Might need another scorer? What do you think is this team capable of going all the way?

I will sit out my 3 or 4 years and maybe join lakers when kobe is gone....or stay and create a dynasty here in toronto not sure yet

Just out of curiosity, do any of you create your Career player to resemble how you would actually play on the court IRL. I'm thinking of doing that myself.

Probably not, I'm guessing it's just the Aaron Rodgers/State Farm (Discount Double Check) TD celebration everyone uses now. Like the Cam Newton Super Man pose, it's overused. The price is likely due to the popularity of the celebration.

The Toronto Raptors have now been downgraded to 2nd to the worst team Charlotte Bobcats. After an amazing game against the Indiana Pacers, my 8th game playing PF Athletic build with 64 overall. We came back from 10 point deficit to push two overtimes but still lose by 1 point. While I was benched during all the OTs, DeMar DeRozan was injured and is out 2-4 weeks.

Next game against Boston without our leading scorer, we perform very well and lead in the first quarter we are down by 6 points at the end of the 1st half. I'm sitting on the bench and before I know it I reemerge in the 3rd quarter and we are 20 points down, no chance of winning, worst yet Andrea
Bargnani was injured and is hurt for 2-4 weeks with 55 overall.

So in the past 2 games both of our leading scorers have been injured for 2-4 weeks and I get to enter as a starter in just my 10th game with 64 overall. I'm averaging 10.1-7.4-2.6 on 68% FG and 25mpg

My hotspots are realistic but everything else about my game is exaggerated. I can pass, shoot mid range jumpers, and have decent speed and hops. I'm 5'8" and can just barely touch the rim on a 10 foot hoop. So naturally my player is a pinpoint passer with an almost automatic jumpshot and one of the fastest guys in the league who has an insane vertical/dunking ability. Plus he's 6'2".

Made an athletic PG, drafted by the Magic. Played every game, went 60-22 and currently in conf finals against Heat up 3-1 going home.

Love driving, pulling defense in, then dishing to wide open shooters (so many: Harrington, Turk, QRich, Affalo if he actually pulls it). Glen's a beast with his wide body on P&R.

Hope after the season I can get the GM to get some upgrades, would love to get a Drummond type to have that power dunking center/rebounder.

Here is what my character would be then, a 6'0" decent passer, really good ball handling, that would be my best skill and I would be the worst shooter in the league and since I'm white I can't even touch the rim lol. My D is pretty good though probably because I try to make up for my poor shooting.

I'm 6'2 IRL, bumped myself up too 6'4 , to play SG. PPG:18.9 RPG:4.5 APG:4.9

But since Monta Ellis is the star SG .So I'm forced to play the 3 smh.

My hotspots are realistic. & I'm unguardable in the low post area my jumpers are automatic.
