I understand everyone wants a roll back, especially the people who didn't play and are now at a disadvantage.

Since the glitch I accumulated around 100k extra rp, pulled a star Billups after 236 boards, and got a star Lillard 3 boards after that (not selling both yet). I started a season only 2hrs before the glitch, in with just one human and im by far better, which means guaranteed win and AS/HOF/RS Card.
On top of that I scored 11,250 points in RC and just claimed my Kawhi.

I put in a ton of work again since thursday like I have been the past events. I don't mind giving up the allstar cards, but if I lose all the above im not sure I want continue playing this game, all because CD messes up and cant respond in a timely manner.

I think a lot of the people demanding bans or a roll back are the ones that have nothing to lose because I know I don't want a roll back.

AS cards gone fine! But losing everything I played for is not ok!

They have the legit RC numbers, so once they have that - rollback servers and re-award everyone with the RC card that was earned.

Then add a ladder reward, something like 10k wins - which basically is for everyone who has been playing all long aka NOT people who went from SR to ST++ in an hour. The reward for this should be a random foil ASG card.

Then give anyone who has logged on in the past three days 2 free wilds.

It would be crap for everyone who kept grinding over the weekend but at least 1 free foil + 2 free WC would make up for RESETTING this huge mess.

ps: just curious to all those that are super upset, did you buy the free packs or unknowingly miss the chance to?

lol let's be real for a moment here. Everybody knows how the sides fall. If you got your glitched cards, you don't want it reset. If you didn't, you do. (generally speaking)

This is not rocket science, is not a revelation, and purely within expectation, so calling out people based off that is unproductive. Nobody wants to vomit up their free lunch, and nobody wants to miss the deal, either.

The question is what does more damage: Leaving things as they are, or reverting them?

I think the answer to that is astoundingly obvious.

I don't know why people keep saying rollback. For one, I doubt CD even has the technology to do it properly. Most fortune 50 companies barely do. For two, even if they did it's been far too long to do it without massively upsetting the balance more than the glitch did. That leaves only 3 solutions, assuming they have the tech to do so, and don't have advanced tech to do something extremely elegant like roll back only the purchases, etc...


1) And the most likely if anything is done. Compile all cards achieved from the glitch, and delete them. Far more people didn't get the glitch than those who did. This would upset many, as there is lots of issues, but no matter what is done people are gonna be upset.

2) Ban those players who exploited it. Not talking about guys who bought 10packs, or even 20packs. Talking about players who have 30+ AS pros now from 200pack purchases. And all the alt accounts with 0 games played and star tier.

3) And this is the thing most likely to happen. NOTHING. Live with it. Everyone makes mistakes. Apologize and go on. They may slightly accelerate PO tier or create an easily achievable tier between AS and RS. But as far as directly addressing the glitch, they will do nothing.

Anything else, imo, either isn't feasible or isn't in CD's best interest.

You would think, though, that CD's best interest was protecting its paying players -- to keep them playing (and therefore paying).

In light of that, removing the glitched cards is the best way to do that.

A rollback is certainly possible as they no doubt take server backups. Any competent designer would design redundancy into any system, especially in this day and age.

I assume that deleting the cards individually is within their capability, too, though whether or not they want to devote the man hours to that is a different question altogether.

Didn't get any and I'd still be super upset if I did. I spent countless hours grinding this game to get where I am. Others put in x hours and x dollars to get where they were at. For thousands of people to far exceed that in one hour of game play is ridiculous.

Not only that but it is GREATLY impacting my ability to sell cards and acquire wild cards to even get to the tier of those guys with 10+ all star cards and well as the millions of RP that was spent on this tier to get a one up on others only to be taken away by a "meaningless mistake".

This isn't just something that affects players until the next set of cards CatDaddy releases, it hugely affects the way players would have played previous as well and far into the future (next tiers +).


The reset with wilds and a nice card would be great way to fix this.

I'm one of the ones who benefited somewhat from the glitch and I feel it should be rolled back, I seem to be in the minority though. This error upsets the whole balance of the game and has a negative ripple affect throughout, AH, Seasons, etc. All that grinding I did seems extremely hollow now. Seeing my quick game match ups riddled with things like below does not sit well with me. It's blatantly unfair to anyone who put a lot of work in to grind and/or pay.

Just look at these games played....... Smh.

Back to playing the real basketball game. A free player like me is upset because I did not get to exploit the glitch would benefit me and move up the tier and at the same time, if I did that I may just have shorten the life span of the game. On the other side, I am a bit happy since some cards in AH are now cheaper but that too may have an effect on the game too.

Ea madden mobile had a similiar glitch where there packs were free, it resulted in down time to roll back accounts to what they were before the glitch. That included sets that were completed, selling stuff you got from packs etc etc, so a rollback is quite possible, then again EA is a bigger company then catdaddy so who knows, all I know is, If the problem isn't fixed google will refund my purchases from the app so I'm kind of leaning towards them doing nothing
