I have definately had it on All-Star with default sliders. I tried to lower the CPU shot sliders to 45 and against Atlanta that seemed to work though I lost due to the amazing Q4 by CPU (65% fg) and a terrible Q4 by me (28%).
Next game was against the Thunder, who logically should be easier to beat. Well, not in Live 10. The Thunder are now officially the greatest team in the NBA, blocking shots, rebounding like crazy and having multiple god players besides Durant.

I know how you feel, I just lost to the Kings with some bogus junk like that, Jon Brockman was nailing threes, they shoot 30% in the 3rd and then pulls out 65% in the fourth

I think it's because if you simply praise a game you usually get ten replies telling you why you are wrong to do so.

It's an internet wide thing, not an OS thing.

Some people seem to have a need for their opinions to be louder and more correct than everyone elses.

Perceptions is often reality in these games no? It differs person to person.

If someone is getting beat by DWade, they often concede. But when Dragic starts performing like Nash and you can't differentiate the two, all while your team goes cold... I can understand where the point comes from.

They just have to do something to make it feel less scripted to the user, that's all.
Quote of the year thats the prob, u go cold while Alex Acker plays like Tracy McGrady, If Dwade was doin it, ok...

Matt Bonner just killed me in the 4th quarter, finished with over 20 pts 10 rbs. Granted I was already down 9 going into the 4th but they made their run at the end of the 3rd and then I shot 22% in the 4th and lost by 30

Yep this is the problem role players are just too aggressive this year they don't defer enough. And what makes it even more frustrating is they can kill you w/ almost the same effectiveness that star players can.

If someone playmakers or EA themselves can tone this down the game will just be more fun imo. We shouldn't have to deal w/ this type of stuff. Bad teams are bad for a reason and its because they don't have as many skilled players as the good ones.

This isn't reflected well in this game imo.

This crap happens to me on all-star too.
Durant lit me up for 52 points.
While I'll concede the beanpole is an emerging player, he's not quite Lebron yet.

I disagree. Guys pop up and have great games all of the time. I prefer that the game depict that all of these guys have the ability to do what they really do as opposed to limiting them to the perception of what they're capable of. The difference between a Dirk & a Bonner is in how many different ways they can get 20/11 not flat out that one can't one can. I don't want to sound like i'm talking down to anyone because I have seen that happening alot recently on this forum but I think its a case of having role players be capable role players instead of it being a game of stars.

I agree wih you Kid, but I think the problem for a lot of people is....there are times when bonner doesnt get that 20 and 10 by spotting up and shooting....but by rather making contested shots with the game in the balance...it should happen with a capable role player every once in a while though...

There are also times I feel that the CPU simply disregards the "rules of the game"....I had CPU Okafor dribble in a crowd of my defenders and remain balanced, when this would have been a instant steal for me, even with a medium tier PG..

It's just that it differs so much from user to user. Durant dropping 52 is fine on a one off game. If he's doing it on a consistent basis though, that's a problem.

I'd just love to see how some people play. When you get attacked with a run, you can get caught up and your tempo increases, you force shots, make turnovers, etc. A run against seems normal. Of all the games I've played so far, only one run has been like that. The others are I notice a run and that's it. It comes down to me using the whole shot clock, calling timeouts, only using my star guy to iso, etc.

So I don't understand why people can't deal with these runs if some can. I do however understand the BS crap during a run (fadeaway threes, role players taking over) and that's no good. Hopefully the patch fixes that up but for runs in general, I just don't get it. As I said though, I don't know how everyone plays but I do think a lot get caught up in the tempo of a run. Even if you miss a lot of shots, using the entire shot clock, calling timeouts, etc, slows a run a lot.

I'm playing 100% ONline H2H and the games have been great. I generally play OSers or friends from my buddy list or a random person out of the sim Lobby...I play on Superstar and I am not seeing anything that has changed my excitement for the game...This is the best hoop game IMO bar none that I have played...

When you have 2 players keeping it real this game is beautiful...Now am I saying its all roses and daisies???...Hell naw...But this is a very good game H2H...I'm seeing new animations daily and playing with alot of different teams I can definitely see the player and Team individuality.

You guys getting your cones fried by the CPU need to simply come online to the sim lobby and look for our OS brethern...If you play this game (and most games) the way they are MEANT to be played its a BEAUTIFUL EXPERIENCE...Peace and see me in the sim lobby ---> Gubmntcheez

I didnt have too many, "make ya wanna holler" moments, but there is one very glaring issue: The CPU is simply able to draw fouls at much higher rate of success then you.

that was the difference in the game. If i'm a fraction late, I'm getting whistled, period. Meanwhile, the CPU can get away with 1990's Knicks ball on D...and its a prayer, as to whether you get the whistle.

There was on stretch of torrid shooting by the CPU, but I pretty much matched them, but other wise, it was pretty dang consistant.

Denver isnt a great defensive team, and they can really score.

                                Some individual numbers for theCPU

                                Denver(CPU)

Melo: 27 pts, 1 assist LOL, 12-32 shooting

                                Chauncey: 18 pts, 12 assists, 4 rebounds, 6-17 shooting

                                Nene: 15 pts 8 reb, 6-11 shooting

                                JR Smith: 14 pts, 7 reb(yeah right), 3 assists, 4-8 shooting, 1-4 3pt shooting, 5-7 FT

                                K-Mart: 11 pts, 7 rebounds, 5-6 shooting

                                Birdman: 10 pts, 8 rebounds, 5-10 shooting

Other then JR Smith getting 7 boards, and Birdman being the primary scoring option off of the bench....there's not much out of context here.

the glaring issue is the FT discrepancy..that is a consistant factor working against the user, game in and game out.

If that gets tightened up some, I think that will solve the majority of the headaches people are having.
