I might go that route too. I can probably get a lot of miles out of the trial version on Access. That and 2k18 should fill my basketball fix until Live 18 is in the vault. If not I'll grab it on black Friday. I want to buy Live to support the series but I bought Live 16 along with 2k16 and I barely touched Live. Don't want to waste the money again.

Man, I have been playing more Cavs vs Warriors and holy crap this game has the potential to be really good!

I had a buddy over and we played the demo and then switched to 2k17 for comparison and we both agreed Live was better on the court, especially on defense.

Please EA give us a serviceable Association mode. That is going to be the deal breaker for me. 2k's MyGM is too good to pass up if this Association is bare bones like 16. This game is so much more enjoyable on the court though.

Probably am getting it. I have EA access so game is 35 bucks.

I have leveled up to 20 three times with different type players. Really feeling the post center type and probably will stick with that when game comes out.

I'm over every circus and contested prayer shot going in. Dribbling is great, everything else needs major work so after playing more and giving it further consideration I don't think I can do it.

RE: Full playbooks. It looks like the full playbook is broken down by play category and not the specific player. How do I get it to show me plays specific to each player (i.e. all plays for Curry, Klay, etc.)

Secondly, how do I call a specific player to set a screen. I know how to set a screen using the L1 (PS4) button, but sometimes I want the player on the other side of the court to come towards me to set a screen. I also know that I can move towards the specific player I want setting a screen and pressing L1 a couple times until the desired screener is highlighted, but I want to know how to have my teammate on the other side of the court come set a screen without me having to move my ball handler. And yes, I've tried moving my left analog stick to highlight the player I want, and holding L1, it still will have the person closest to me setting a screen, which I don't want.

Re: After Playing the Demo, Are You Buying, Not Sure or No

My first impression was YES, totally buying. Second time I tried the demo, I was a bit meh – had a game with a few noticeable clunky sequences.

Then I played again this morning, and I'm back to YES again. Will probably pre-order.

Only thing I have a real issue with is the graphics package, the screen wipes and cutscenes appear to have real framerate issues? (I'm on PS4). Is it just me?

Glad to hear dream. Thanks to everyone for supporting these guys.

Thanks also to everyone who approached the demo with an open mind, and committed to learning how to play it.

Game has came a long way for sure.

The plays are not broken down by player. Just by play type. If you view the playbook, it should tell you what position the play is for.

The highlight should work to bring which screener you want. I can look into it if it's not.

Can't wait to hear more about dynasty . I'm looking foward to live more for offline play . Crazy I know 2k is so much deeper. But I enjoy the 1 on 1 game that much , on both sides of the ball. I also feel like the superstars are playing more like themselves .

It won't be my go to for online play though . I'll dabble in the one mode as well .

                                (1) Would it be possible to get that in before release? If not, then please consider having it for NBA Live 19. Much easier to see the specific player (i.e. Draymond Green) on the floor and cue up plays for him. But what if you forgot that Draymond Green is playing Center, Point Guard, Forward, of Shooting Guard IF you decided to put him at those respective positions.

                                (2) Highlighting the player and calling a screen definitely still doesn't work. It's usually the center that comes to set a screen despite having another position player highlighted. The second Warriors sequence in the video shows a better example of me trying to get other players farther from the ball handler to set the screen, but ultimately it was always the center (Zaza Pachulia). You'll notice if I actually move closer to the player, then the screen button (L1 ; PS4) will have him come set a screen), but if the teammate is far away, it'll usually be the center setting the screen.
