It's funny that after playing hundreds of games of 2K8 I just realized that if you use the R-Stick at the opening tip you can actually aim where you want to tip the ball. Was this common knowledge and I was asleep the last two years?

I honestly didnt even notice until I played the NCAA '10 demo. Not that big of a deal to me.

Idk if you had that thing where it would give you text help some times but at the opening tip the box would appear and say use y or use rs to control the tip direction

I know that but I never knew you could actually aim it, I figured you'd just tip it with the RS just like you do with Y/Triangle.

After being disappointed in NCAA10 I threw 2K8 back in and can not see how anyone thinks NCAA10 is the better game. The only thing I like in NCAA10 is the stick passing and the crowd noise. Everything else from top to bottom 2K8 kills NCAA10.
IMO or course. I had more fun in the 2 games I played last night with 2K8 than I did in 20 with NCAA10.

I know that but I never knew you could actually aim it, I figured you'd just tip it with the RS just like you do with Y/Triangle.
