Im in my 8th yr in the legacy i started out with UCA Turned them into a monster and then got a job at DUKE after Krzyewski retired and 1st year there (6th Season)went 29-2 with a run into the NCG (unfortunately we got upset by #4 Butler) Year 7 went 30-1 this year winning the NCG over # 1 North Carolina (final four was all ACC NC VS NCSU & Duke vs GT)This season we're 10-0 (3-0) ACC Recruiting is very Stable here at Duke landed a 5* PG, 5*C the guy was 6'11
Im losing about 3/4 of my starting lineup this year so i got to get more recruits

Re: Interesting things that's happened in legacy.

In a complete blowout LSU (4) defeated Duke (1), to become back-to-back Nat'l Champs. The second team in my legacy to do it. And the first team to win twice, or back-to-back, as a low seed. (Well if you count a 4th seed as low.) They won the year before as a 6 seed.

Edit: WOOOOOO!!!! I just pulled in my second straight 5* recruit at Kentucky. I'm not really that good at recruiting so my class will be short, also I'm filled with returning players. So here's my recruits right now:
            5* Trey Zimmerman, 6'11 PF
            3* Brooks Elias, 7'1 C

year 25 in my legacy that i started out with UCA then went to Duke won 3 NCG 2 in a row actually then I decided to shake things up a bit and go over to the Big east and take over my hometown Marquette Eagles and guess what in my first year i take out my former school in the Elite Eight then lose to ironically my first school UCA in the final four in a mighty shootout that went to 3 OT's it was a fun game that i wish i could play again 2-3 yrs were standard losses in NCG to Cinderella 14th seed Dartmouth who literally just had a stellar year in the Ivy league went undeafeted in conference and somehow still got 14th seed 4th year i actually won the NCG over guess what another cinderella this time it was not an ivy league but a America east team seed 11 Vermont they honestly didnt even have the best of a regular season because of injuries but once conference tourney's rolled around my god they lit it up 100 points across the board it was ridiculous to see a team that went 15-14 in the Regular season win their Conference tourney then somehow get to the NCG its crazy im in my 5th year about to start the Regular Season and hopefully have another stellar year

This is why I love this game more than any other. Endless possibilities and outcomes......On another note. This was the largest paragraph I've ever seen on here with no periods or any punctuation. LOL Congrats dude!!!!!

                All in good fun.

This reminds me of my years at Siena. Took 5 years (4 recruiting) to get the prize. All the pieces came together year by year and we got better each year but never finishing. First I had the cornerstone SF Gil Corner (no pun intended). Next was C Wes McFagdon, then PG Dewitt Warner and 3pt marksman SG Vincent Len Bullicer. And the final piece was PF Mel Augustin. Once I formed this lineup we went 30?-1 to win it all. Crazy thing was after that year, Gil graduated/got drafted and I didn't think my backup would fill the role. The next year we had a perfect season 36-0 to become back-2-back champs.

Man, I will never forget that team or those years there.

You guys remember me right the person who you guys were raving about posting that long paragraph with no punctuation. Well I'm back at it again this time halfway through year 25 with my Hometown Marquette Eagles, I started off the recruiting for this year with some stellar recruits landing 4 5* players 1 PG 1 SG 1 PF and finally the best of the bunch a 7'3 Center from guess where, and no he's not Canadian he's actually from Spain which i found cool. My schedule for this year is one heck of a schedule starting off with Duke, and NC then My rivals Butler. They are a monster in my Legacy making it to the final 4 3 years in a row i wont go into the full schedule but you guys get the picture I am 11-3 right now with my Eagles

                      WOW!!!

Remember when I told you guys, I kinda sucked at recruiting? (Got good recruits here and there, got one *5 recruit in consecutive years.) Well my streak of getting *5 recruits continued, as did my recruiting skills. Now I nabbed this one guy I was looking at to replace my SG, that it wasn't even a contest, he easily signed. Skip ahead to the off-season. I nabbed a *5 JC player at pg, he's may start over my soon-to-be senior PG, but usually I like to let the seniors get their time to shine so idk. Then I signed another SG, a *4 recruit as a backup/future starter if the other leaves early.

Now this is where it gets interesting... I see a *5 recruit who had NO TEAMS interested, I'm guessing it was because of the long period of teams not being able to recruit, but I've never seen it before so it may have been a glitch. I contacted him the day once recruiting started again, that's what probably gave me the advanctage. Other teams finally came along, but I nabbed him which was kinda weird because I didn't need a PF, but it sure doesn't hurt! Then comes along the #1 overall recruit, a PG who was completely undecided. I think he's highest interest was UVA at like 76%. And for some reason my team had about the same interest even though I didn't recruit him at all. So I decided to take a shot at him, nabbed him as well!

So this is the best class I've ever had, and it made me feel like I was John Calipari bringing all this young talent to Kentucky:

TeJay Almanson 5* PG #1 OVR
Tyson Monroe 5* SG #10 OVR
                      Jerry Baldwin 5*PG JUCO
Demetrius Bruthelieus 5* PF #21 OVR
Vincent Milton 4* SG #27 OVR

I kinda feel like I cheesed a lil, because I can't believe how I got 2 All-Americans to fall in my lap. But I'll take it anyway.

this just blows my mind and speaking of crazy recruiting i just landed probably one of the best recruiting classes i've ever done 5* PG 5*SG 5*C(7'0 from canada) and then to top it all of i'm about to land another 5* PG(#2 ranked recruit).

Re: Interesting things that's happened in legacy.

After pulling the best recruiting class and having my best team ever, I just won my second nat'l championship. I knew from the get go that I was going to have a special team this year. I'm just going to skip the other stuff and tell you the interesting things since I am currently on my phone.

I have been scheduling UNC and Indiana as rivals. I beat both of them soundly. 4 months later, I am facing UNC in a nail biter in the sweet 16, winning by 2 points. Indiana repeated last year, having a bad record in the beginning and losing bad to me, then after the lost going on a HUGE run and ending up as a 4-5 seed. They played a great game against a one seed in St. Johns and recovering from a 15pt deficit in 6-7 mins and ended up winning by 5 or so. Flukely win to me because we've had history against them before, and the championship game proved it. We DESTROYED them. We were up 32 to 12 within the first 10 mins of the game. Felt kind of cheap but I'll take it.

If feels great to have completely build a team into a champion. When I was at Clemson I had assisant recruiting on and just signed whoever was interested. I get the feeling you guys get now when you win championships.

Also Oliver Purnell is 5 wins away from 900 wins!

I have a question. if you play well enough with one team in a small conference, will you get invited to a bigger conference? I know this will happen in ncaa basketball 10 so I was wondering if you could do this with CH2k8? Thanks in advance
