He did. He led the Cavs to the playoffs. Again, forget the best player on any team and look at each team's supporting cast. That tends to be a more accurate picture of who the best teams in the league is. And Lebron's happens to be pretty lame.

Um, Bron came in the League at an earlier age, so yeah he won it earlier. Age-wise.

Don't care about his team. A true star puts his team on his back when he has to.

WTF? He has Larry Hughes, Drew Gooden, and Z. He has one of the best teams around him in the Eastern Conference. How is his foul shooting? Horrible, and dow the stretch? Joke. He had a great sason last year, but thats one year. Go to 82games.com. He was 4 for 19 last season for game winning shots. Thats good. He was 6 for 10 from the foul line to win games. I suppose thats good. The Cavs blew out the Warriors without him and he has been to the playoffs once. Twice after this year. He is overrated and gets more calls than Jordan did.

Just so everyoneknows I used to be a Lebron fan, but I decided to quit swalloing the Kool-aid that everyone else still swallows, because I have watched him a lot and I can't root fo a guy who gets all cred for the wins and none for the losses.
Well said.

        Just like Michael Jordan.

        Yeah...shut up.
No, you shut up. MJ used to get bashed for the Bulls not winning. Called selfish and a ballhog.

My point is, back in the day, stars didn't get overhyped BEFORE it was warranted. MJ didn't get it. Bird didn't get it. Magic didn't get it.

Lebron was hyped in high school, with some saying he'd be the best ever. That turned me off from the gettyup.

If the boy dominates the League, I'll give him his props. Until then, it's nothing but--wait for it---hype.
He's been pretty dominant with a terrible team. Like someone else said, he gets double and triple teamed every game but he still gets his points. He can't do everything by himself.

Which is what he has done since he's been in the league.

MJ had a losing record with the Bull in his first two years. Every year after that, they had a winning record. His first year, they were 38-44 and his second year they were 40-42.

Oh, and the East was anything but weak then. You had Boston, Detroit, Philly, Milwaukee, and up and coming teams in Chicago, Cleveland, New York and Atlanta. Not weak by a long shot.

They are 32-24 and are the third seed right now.

what i mean is, the bottom was weak. jordan made those first two playoff appearances with below .500 records. lebron in his second year, when they didn't make the playoffs, his team was still above .500... i'm just saying playoff appearance doesn't mean jordan did more in his first/second year for team.

Time and Time again we have seen him pass the ball to other players to take the last shot and what happens, they miss. For once I would like to see him take the shot, cause I know he can make them

To WTF, what player in their right mind plays off their defender by 3 odd ft when they have the ball, then tries to swat the shot as they take the J. come on man thats bad IQ. Offensively however, I understand where I was wrong with his IQ thxs for pointing that bit out.

:y4: Exactly... that are a lot of lax defenders in today's NBA. He bodies up and plays hardcore man when it is on the line, but for the majority, his d is pretty lax.

And for those (Air) who say he can't take over the game, or that he makes dumb decisions at the end of the game... watch tonights game against the Hornets... Nailed 2 clutch 3 pointers to seal the game for the Cavs... after Pavs and Marshall couldn't hit off of beautiful LBJ feeds.
