I would not say that he's a willing passer at this point, but he could probably become one if he's given more playing time and get more touches during the course of a game. However, Sharpe is not a guy who one can rely on to mix it up inside for rebounds. And at this point of his career he still has a lot to learn as far as playing defense on the ball and off the ball.

Thats a stark contrast to what he was in college because at both Mississippi State and UAB he was a 4/5 post player that spent most of his time with his back to the basket in the paint.

Yeah, Sharpe pretty much had to drastically change his game in the NBA. He found out quickly that he isn't capable of outmuscling guys inside the paint in the league like he had done in college as a big man, so he plays more like a SF now. He does have good athleticism, though. And he really surprised me with how well he handles the basketball while isolated on the wing.

We'll see what we can get with a lopsided trade. If we do not utilize this year's cap...Then it's a monumental waste.

just a horrible match by the Jazz. Best move all offseason Portland has made. Has effectively made the Jazz weaker this year (if Boozer gets traded) and in future years (when Boozer leaves). Should have just let him go and re-signed Boozer

Why resign Boozer when it's clear he doesn't want to be there?
