    Re: The Lamar Odom Saga

I agree with a lot of what you said Stumble, and Luke in the starting lineup wouldn't be that bad if he's completely healthy. He hasn't been right physically in a long while [that's why he himself gave his starting role to Trevor] so I give him the benefit of the doubt

However I don't want Ron coming off the pine.. especially during the playoffs.

They need to add a spark off the bench for sure. I have faith in Powell, and I'm sure they'll add an old washed up big man vet to help LA out.

I'm sure someone will get injured hopefully it won't be anything serious. But just like any other team, if their best big man goes out they'd be in a world of hurt too.

Just because I want that, it's a ****in' CERTAINTY that LA will re-sign Odom. I'm not even convinced there's a chance he doesn't.

No way do you sit Artest. As the Lakers' best defensive player, it's important for him to start the game guarding the opposing team's best perimeter threat. On most nights, this will give the Lakers a chance to get a good lead early and dictate the pace of most games.

Sportscenter just reported the Lakers have offered him a 3 year deal at a reduced rate from their original offer

          SMH at all of this.

I would be shocked if L.A. doesn't resign him, even with all this recent talk. I'm sure it will get done somehow.

Well the original "reported" offer that LA brought to the table was 3 years 30 million, which was about what, a week ago? It was reported that Odom never responded so Buss pulled it off the table.

Up to today there were no other offers from LA. So now it seems that LA is back on the case, I'm assuming they offered him 3 years 27 million? Who knows.

LO needs to sign with Miami and get it over with.

The wait could be over by Tuesday

John Ireland reportedly said on ESPN 710 radio this morning that Lamar Odom would sign with the Lakers sometime in the next couple of days. Ditto the info coming from the Miami Herald, which echoes the time frame I got from the conversations I had over the weekend.

The wait could be over soon.

this is already pretty dumb and long by odom....sign already it seems like the lakers could care less and even offered you a reduced contract knowing that the head are after u like crazy.

this basically makes odom known as a bench player or maybe a sidekick to wade i dont know if that matters to him but i rather be a sidekick
