So you want three players to take tremendous pay cuts while LBJ doing the hard work of recruiting two of the players? Yeah, honest indeed.

Yeah I mean c'mon, why even waste your breath? JJ and Rudy Gay just got max deals, does anyone really think LBJ and Stoudemire would be taking more than $5m less than THOSE clowns?

Windhorst made a great point yesterday...it's pretty funny to see a team try to get three elite players to take huge paycuts, when the league is trying to bend the players over even more next year.

Also, why does every pundit think Bosh will just tag along somewhere? JJ I could see joining up with better players, but Chris Bosh really doesn't seem to be down with any paycuts or not being the centerpiece wherever he goes.

It's not necessarily hard, but you know what's much easier? Taking a max deal from one of a few other teams and not having to do any recruiting. I can't believe they would even offer him that.

Hard when you're asking a player to take a cut like that. Especially two. Money talks. Especially when others with less skill are getting paid more.

That is a ridiculously simple way of looking at that.

He has to sell TWO max players to convince them to take a lot less money to come play with him in NYC. That's not even close to an easy sell.

And why do you even have to make an offer for Lebron to take less money? "We are offering you the max, but just so you know, if you want to take less, you can."

We will see what happens. The fact that there's probably going to be a a 2nd meeting after a 3 hour presentation sounds good. I wonder if he wants to see what progress we make with other free agents.
