I really can't believe ya'll are really trying to justify him quitting on his team. And yes I know he wasn't the only one either and if you look at my posts in the past regarding this subject I've called them out as well so it's not just a case of "Oh you just don't like Lebron that's why you're blaming him".
Nobody is justifing anything. I'm saying he carries this team. They arent a good team unless LeBron is apart of it. And I'm saying he wont win a title with the way the team is constructed.

Any personnal shots you want to take at LeBron I'm not getting into.

I'm guessing the NBA won't put the Heat's game(s) in Cleveland on National TV next season. Or else they'll have to find a way to mute the crowd noise.

That is exactly my point. You take Nelson/Lewis missing almost 30 games, plus Lewis' slow start and Nelson's recovery from the time he missed with the shoulder, and that team does not beat out the Chicago Bulls for the final playoff spot.
Well we were talking about health.

Secondly, I think you are stretching with all these what if's if so and so with a slow start and Nelson with this shoulder. That team is still making the playoffs without Dwight Howard. They had one of the deepest benches in the league and Gortat isn't just some scrub off the street. Dwight Howard is a great player and yes the Magic are better with him, but they can still get to the playoffs without him.

You guys are funny that you are really comparing the Cavs roster to the Magic Roster...smh.

So it's settled then. The Cavs will become the first team in NBA History to go 0-82, assuming Lebron doesn't come back.

They'll have to find out a way to blur out all of the stuff that the fans fling at LeBron too. I don't know if they want those violent images on screen.

Lebron is all about image, so I don't think he goes to Miami.

Think about it...If "The Miami 3" don't win a title, it will be considered the biggest team fail ever. If they do win a title, people will be saying LBJ had to have 2 other superstars to win anything.

I have trouble believing LBJ would be cool with that.

I still think it's between Cleveland and NY.

As far as the Magics, Boston just matched up great against them.

Like I said it's not just winning and losing that makes LeBron teammates bad it's there performance.
I didn't watch enough Cavs games to know exactly what they were doing on O during the regular season but I know they were running, I know Hickson was playing and I know Mo and West spent more time controlling the offense. It seems that playoff time, Mike Brown decided the offense should be a 1-4 clear out 90% of the time with Lebron deciding how things would flow, along with keeping the runners on the bench.

Fisher is proven at what? He's a great role player but if his team didn't win the title he would never be mentioned in the same sentence as Mo Williams, and I'm not even calling Mo more than a decent player. Like I said in that post you quoted, Gasol was considered soft when they lost... now he's top 3. Winning does a lot for perception. And Artest would've been considered a waste if they lost. Shaq was brought in for defense too and he did that and more but now he's grouped with all the players that sucked around Lebron. I don't think Shaq's got much left but you're saying last year's team sucked and Shaq was on that team and played well in the playoffs.

Why isn't it that Boston matched up well against the Cavs? They did almost beat the Lakers after all, but somehow the Cavs losing to them is horrible. Why can't we evaluate the performance of Howard's teammates when Boston didn't have to double team him?

You cannot convince me that if your TEAM can win 60+ games in the regular season, two years straight, but your team is not good enough to win a championship.
Matchups and style of play dictate championship teams. Teams are capable of playing a certain style during the regular season because the motivation from other teams aren't always there, some teams quit at the end of the year, some teams don't have the personnel to compete, back to back nights benefit younger teams and the importance of having a really good half court offense isn't as big in the regular season compared to the post season ( the Atlanta Hawks won 53 games last year without any legitimate half court offense).

We just saw Boston just play well enough to make the playoffs. Doc told his team all season all we need to do is make the playoffs. Teams play different in the playoffs then they do in the regular season.

We all thought that too. But we've given up hope that he wouldn't go to Miami. It may not be a guarantee, but it doesn't look good for others. There are too many signs.

I don't know, I still feel the same way I said last night. All this Miami talk is just a smokescreen. That team would be too depleted to contend for years.

I'm warming up to him either staying in Cleveland or going to NY. LBJ-Amar'e vs Wade-Bosh would be great.

Exactly my original thoughts on the subject. It is a very convenient excuse. I can understand if you are a #4 seed, but not when you have homecourt THROUGHOUT the playoffs. It is just too funny. I am done with this, lol.

I may even have to root for the Lakers in the Finals this year.

I've been sitting here baffled by this myself.

I'll put it like this. If LeBron had Dwights cast, we wouldn't have spent the last two weeks scrambling around the web trying to figure out where LeBron was going to land. He would've confirmed that he was staying in Cleveland on July 1st, if not seasons end.
