Agreed Pack, and while still highly unlikely, implying that the Cavs roster is going to be worlds apart from a team that is going to have 4 players on the payroll, and still be over the cap, is slightly irrational.

The Cavs have a lot to look forward to in terms of building blocks for the future, and a lot more freedom to make moves than the Heat will have, should those 3 guys opt in.

      What about Brooklyn?

If he did leave, I don't think he wants to go to Chicago and constantly be in Jordan's shadow.. NY doesn't sound like an option. Who knows with Boston. But what about Brooklyn?

Pretty sure Brooklyn is going to be near the cap or over the cap in 2014.

Cap space means nothing when it comes to The Russian, as recent history has shown.

Just because it doesn't mean anything to the Russian doesn't mean he can go sign whoever he wants.

Unless LeBron agrees to the MLE, he's probably not going to Brooklyn. Or they blow up their team.

I swear... Only LeBron can cause this kind of stuff to start trending on message boards lol. But since everyone is talking about it. I guess I'll put my 2 cents in.

If the Heat win another championship. I really don't see him going any where. Now if they don't. I could see it being a problem and opens some doors.

Well, we don't have a place to talk about random NBA subjects anymore, so all that's left is LBJ debate, top 10s and why isn't Durant more hated, lol

I'm not saying it does but as we've seen with the NBA over the last few years, trying to project a team's cap situation 2 years out is almost pointless to do since teams are constantly changing every year.

Sure, it's nice that you have cap space and picks but that doesn't guarantee you anything. We had those same "assets"(I think we were 2nd or 3rd in terms of cap space that summer) that ya'll currently have 3 years ago when Lebron was a FA last time and what'd we end up? Jordan Farmar, Travis Outlaw, Johan Petro and Anthony Morrow.

But other than that, I don't see any reason why he would want to leave Miami in the first place. Ya'll have bigger things to worry about before talking about whether Lebron would come back.

I don't think LeBron becoming GOAT means he needs 5 more rings. If winning is all that makes you the GOAT he would technically need 10 more..

I don't think he'll be considered the GOAT when he's finished though. Just my opinion.

Who said anything about him being the GOAT?

I did, just referenced a quote from LeBron regarding him wanting to be the GOAT.
"To the last minute, to the last second, to the last man, we fight"
