    2) Finding fault for LeBron complaining on lack of "help" when when he himself plays a major part of shaping the roster.
OJ knows what the argument is. He just purposefully plays dense because he's incapable of being critical of LeBron...or at least allowing anybody else to be anyway.

I've never said to blame LeBron for everything. I've never said that you can't criticize guys when they play like ****. Hell I've been in the game threads calling those guys out when they've played badly. I simply call out the ridiculous narratives and double standards that get perpetuated when it comes to LeBron James and this whole "help" business. It's absurd for LeBron to always whine about help through the media and cryptic social media posts and for guys like OJ to come in and come crashing down on the organizations for "not surrounding him with enough talent" or justifying his forming super teams for the last 8 years because his teams are giving him ****ty players to play with as if he doesn't have a significant role in bringing in those players that apparently suck so much. Nobody wants to hear EVERY SINGLE DAY OF THE WEEK how LeBron can't do it alone. How LeBron is one man fighting an army. Oh woe is LeBron. Over a roster he had a hand in constructing. It's not even like it's guy's commentary as they're watching the game which I could actually understand. You're watching the game, they're struggling you comment on their struggles and keep it moving when the game is over. That's understandable, but it's every day. All day. During every series, during every NBA segment. Nobody is going to feel sorry for LeBron having to lie in a bed he helped make. I think it's just fatigue in general of the topic because it's been going on since his first stint in Cleveland where he had an even bigger say in things that were happening around him.

How can you say he didnt or had very little influence on the Cavs roster? He wanted his boy Kevin Love. They got him. He wanted JR Smith. They got him. Wanted to keep him, extension given. Wanted his boy Tristan resigned, extension given. Wanted his boy Wade in Cleveland. Wade signs. Wanted Kyrie out(everyone knows it, even though no one will admit it), Kyrie out. Complained about his team not being good enough, half of team traded for Nance, Hood and others. Despite what you think, he molds his team.

Oh, dont forget getting Blatt and Smith fired despite being in 1st place when they were at the helm

Pittsburgh Steelers - Green Bay Packers

Man y'all have sucked the fun out of discussing my dude. Same old **** over and over.

I am really excited for this Lakers chapter. People are sleeping on this team way too hard. You're returning the core minus Randle and Lopez and have replaced them with McGee, Stephenson, Rondo, and LeBron freaking James. This Lakers team would've won 40ish games had they stayed healthy and now they add LeBron, who's good for at worst 10 more wins by himself (being conservative here cause of his age and people who will use "but muh WC is harder argument"). Lakers are looking like a 2-4 seed at worst. I won't be surprised at all if they make the WCF

The approach is definitely interesting, from a talent standpoint they are pretty "mehh" until at least one of Kuz/BI/Ball have a "breakout" year. But they added some guys who play hard regardless, play defense regardless, and want to win. In comparison sake if guys like Ray Allen, Mike Miller, Korver, JR, even Bosh and Love to an extent aren't knocking down shots they could find themselves looking really out of place.

This roster might not have that same issue, though others may arise (like struggling to get others to score), but I think it's always been the energy guys and smart guys that benefit LeBron the most and benefit from him the most. Big Z, Andy V, UD, Battier, R Jefferson, Birdman, all those guys always looked like they had a big role on those teams even if statically they only added 5 points and a couple boards. That's what this team will have going for it.

They were basically a top 10 scoring team last year. They lose a couple guys but having LeBron and Rondo added along with another year of improvement from those 3 mentioned before I think the offense can come along. To me the "x-factor" on this roster is KCP. He's still only 24, he's athletic, plays defense, can rebound, and jumped to nearly 40% from 3 last year. If he takes a step forward that team starts to look pretty good. But it seems like you've been waiting to see him take that step for 2-3 years now, and he's improving but nothing more than baby steps still at this point.

              Re: The LeBron James Thread

Kuzma, Ball, Ingram, and Hart should all improve...that's 3 rookies (last year) that haven't hit their ceiling now surrounded by the best player in the league. Ball is underrated for some reason, everyone is so obsessed with his shooting and don't recognize how great of a POINT guard he is, which is weird but whatever.

Also, against the Cavs anyway, Javale McGee did some insane damage in the last 2 finals and now he's gone. LeBron didn't really want him, he just didn't want him on the Warriors lol which was a genius move but then they went and added Boogie, so that negated that loss.

Either way, I'm excited to see LeBron with athletic youth. If nothing else, it will be a very entertaining season

Oh that's classic. I'm actually dying to know which double standards I'm creating. I'm assuming you've counted yourself out of these created double standards tallies? Definitely dying to know which ones you've included yourself in creating.

Magic Johnson on his meeting with LeBron:
“The thing I was really impressed with was he knew every single guy, their strengths and weaknesses, on our team, and he was really excited about how the young guys performed last season.”

Question: What evidence did you use from his first year to come to this conclusion? Curious to know because it’s the first time I’ve seen anyone say this either here or Twitter.

It's all over the net. Reddit, FB and Twitter. People pointing to the Spurs not supposedly wanting him in a trade, but the consensus has been that he's trash cause he has no jumper. I think it's moreso because people can't stand his dad. He's a legit baller though and LeBron has been very complimentary of him

I'm sorry but I am confused after reading all of your post.
So you really think Ball is a legit baller? As in he is really good? Or he is on his way to playing for the LA Ballers? Or maybe the Chicago Ballers?
Seriously tho, you realize he cant shoot at all right
And that playing with LABron is probably going to end bad for him? Right?
LABron will have the ball in his hands most of the time which will force Ball to just be a shooter, which he aint at all!
