The NBA got better when this human waste left.

pound for pound, best player ever.

You can say some things were overrated but you have to give him more than that. Even as a volume scorer, he knew how to put the ball in the basket.

The NBA from 1998-2004 was utter garbage. I understand why you wouldn't think that way, but from my point of view, between a league who had refs cheating for the Lakers, a horrid lockout, and a lack of talent league wide...yeah, it sucked.

As for Iverson, I've said my feelings on him. I understand I'm going to ruffle feathers with those comments, but it's how I feel. Iverson was a chucker, a ball hog, and a grade A loser.

The Spurs, Kings, Mavs, Blazers, Wolves for a few years.. Lack of talent?

The East was **** overall [so I sort of understand where you're coming from with the AI bashing] but the West could have easily had four different title teams including the Lakers.

            Let's not exaggerate now.

Tim was in his prime, Blazers and Kings had some of the most talented and best chemistry the league has seen in the modern age and the Wolves with KG in his prime were pretty filthy [with Spree/Sam].

AI may not have had that "winning" playing style but to call him overrated doesn't really make much sense.

Doesn't he get a pass for being a chucker considering his god-awful supporting cast in Philly.

I would have to say the standard of basketball fundamentals were way down, but talent? McGrady,AI,Vince, and Kobe in his prime, that wasn't talent?

I may be partial to my era of growing up (the 2000's) But those were some of the most talented guys I have ever seen. They were so easy on the eyes. They represent Talent in the best way possible.

That could be attributed to post jordan flu.. and other factors.

The reality is, it happened, and some of those reasons OSU gave were valid in alot of people's minds

Your other factors were apart of what he was saying

                        Right wrong or indifferent

                          Such as crappy basketball.

What, exactly, are the other factors?

I'm not sure what the relateability stuff is.

It was crappy because it was boring, selfish, defensive basketball.

It's when the NBA became more about selfish basketball and getting points rather than playing good team basketball. Granted, you did still have the Spurs, so I guess you could knock that time frame back a year to 2003.

And I gave you the other reasons why in my first post.
