May get you to change your mind on that one too, lol. Lost in all the "Chris Paul to NYC" talk is that he has also mentioned he'd be happy going to the Clippers... which would certainly make D12 at least a little interested.

It is but I watch for the entertainment. He'd certainly find a way to screw it all up but I wouldn't really care that he was luckily successful until that happened. I can understand why people would though.

What would be funny, to me, is that, even if that happened, the Clips would still be little brother. I don't think anything short of decades of dominance would switch LA to a Clipper town. It'd be like trying to switch it from Dodgers to Angels, not gonna happen.

I'll be honest, I don't care about competitive balance. All I care about is a parade at LA Live. Do what it takes to bring Dwight to LA. The only person I'd consider untouchable is Kobe, and that's because he deserves to be a Laker for life. I guess I kinda understand how Yankees' fans feel...

Except then I realize Donald Sterling is the owner and it's next to impossible to believe any "big name(s)" will ever sign there.

That's why it's interesting that Paul is reported to saying he would go there. If they get a star of his level going there voluntarily it could open the door for others. And if that other is Dwight Howard, we can throw that theory out the window completely. It won't make Sterling any better, but it could be a move to big for even him to screw up.

Man could you imagine if it was D12, Blake and CP3? Talk about oops for days...

Frontcourt would be solidified for 10 years easily. CP3 is still a beast. You could probably bring in 12 semi-scrubs and compete for a title.

I don't think Dwight is staying in Orlando for the simple reason that (imo) he lacks confidence in Orlando's FO. They have had years to give him proper help and they have failed to do so.

That would be crazy front court but one of them would need to get a jumpshot. D12 has one but it still could use improvement. Can u imagine if D12 teaches Griffin to be a DPOY like him?? That would be (arguably) the best paint defending duo. Ever.

Still like Gasol and Howard better though, although it would only last a few years.

HELL NO. Doesnt sound anything close to an upgrade. This is prob the way they would get him though, it IS the Clippers afterall.
