I think you're reaching, man. Maybe he doesn't like Chicago. Maybe he doesn't like the GM. Maybe he has specific reasons for liking other teams that aren't connected and Chicago just isn't one of them. There are plenty of reasons any player may or may not want to go somewhere. Just bc the Bulls are good doesn't mean everyone should want to be running to them.

I don't think I'm reaching. But I will concede that my bias for my team is making me a little quick to judgment.

I remember when Teixera was a free agent and all the O's fans were going crazy. He's from Baltimore! Of course he'll want to come back home and save the franchise! No way he'll go to the Yankees (even though he's been a Yankees fan since he was a kid) and he'll give the O's a home town discount too.

We can think of all the rationale reasons in the world for why a player would or should choose to play somewhere but rarely consider the human element. Sometimes people just don't want to live in an area... or may just not like a team (not the players on it or the fans but just don't really feel it)... or have family somewhere else, etc, etc. I don't remember Dwight ever saying anything for or against Chicago. All the speculation of why it's not on his list is just that.

I hope Dwight gets everything he's asking for.

Trade him to a big market team (why would the Nets even be a preferred destination when they're not a winning team) and watch his new team get bounced out of the playoffs just like Orlando did.

If you can't get past the Atlanta Hawks of all teams in the first round then maybe it's just you.

If Dwight really cared about winning, he would ask to be traded to the Thunder. Thunder make an offer built around Westbrook, OKC gets a dominant big and ORL gets a great player in a rebuild in Westbrook.

This. Their games are eerily similar. Dwight is better defensively, but everything else is a wash.
