Now if the Nets can swing a deal for Howard and sign Nene then that is a real good team if they can get DWILL to stay which he would if Howard is on board.

Still possible for the Nets to come out with a dope team

I actually never cared for them until the Russian mobster came in taking pot shots at the Knicks and putting up billboards with Jay Z and his 0.2 % ownership next to the Mecca.

Other then that I have no problem with them.

Not financially possible to get both Nene and Duhwight.

It's one or the other and one of them won't be around much longer.

          Win/win for me either way.

That is to much money for Nene, Howard should be the guy.

Nene is nice but not something you can build around.

For what it's worth (no idea how much that is), incarceratedbob is saying Nets and Magic have agreed to a trade for Howard and the Magic is now using the "tampering" charges to basically blackmail the Nets into giving more.

That guy also said that Lebron to Knicks was official and that Mitchell Modell had 20K Lebron jerseys ready to ship to all his stores for the next day and High Level Security was hired for Lebron and his people for the next days press conference.

He does turn out to be correct a good bit. He was on top of all the NFL free agent moves. He didn't get Nnamdi right, but nobody did. I wouldn't be surprised if threatening to file tampering charges is nothing more than posturing by the Magic. They are trying to leverage more assets from the Nets.

Ok Howard is acting like a big baby here. Now he says he wants to stay in Orlando but only if the culture of the city and front office changes?

WTF? Culture of the city....I mean come on dude

I'd be surprised if he wasn't traded before the All Star Break. I'm kinda shocked that I haven't heard D12 wanting to team up with the Clippers since they got CP3. I can understand not wanting to go to the Lakers and having to live up to all of their legendary centers. However, with the Clippers getting Paul, I think their contenders for the Western Title.
But the Nets are moving to Brooklyn in a new billion dollar arena, Williams will stay if D12 comes, and they have the richest owner who's running to be the president of Russia in the NBA. Gahhhh why couldn't the Magic get a playmaker

Re: Could Dwight Be Playing Somewhere Else Next Season?

The Duhwight to LA clock is underway(in the Writer's opinion):

Dwight Howard says he doesn’t think he’ll be traded before the all-star game in Orlando on Feb. 26, adding the Magic might not even deal him before the March 15 deadline.

                            Howard needs new sources.
Owner Rich DeVos and family have given the order: Unless Howard changes his mind, the Magic will deal Dwight and not let him walk like Shaq did 15 years ago.
The Magic must receive compensation, and the best compensation now — as always — is Lakers center Andrew Bynum.
And if GM Otis Smith gets an offer he can’t refuse before the All-Star Game comes to town, I expect him to act on it. While it would be uncomfortable for Magic fans to see Howard in another uniform, the Magic have to look out for their future, just as Dwight is looking out for his.
Besides, there won’t be that many Magic fans attending the all-star game, anyway, not with those prices and the amount of tickets available.
Having Howard in another uniform will be just as much a black eye for the league during its showcase event. (David Stern and owners bickered for months, and did nothing to help the smaller markets).
As I’ve said several times, Bynum is the best compensation any team would have received in exchange for a player who is forcing his way out of town.
Bynum is better than whatever the Denver Nuggets received for Carmelo Anthony, better than what the New Orleans Hornets got for Chris Paul, even with the commissioner’s help.
Howard told Yahoo! sports after the Magic’s win against the Kings, “I don’t think (the Magic) are going to do anything right now because we’re winning. Even if this is the last season, let’s go out hard, regardless.”
Can’t trade Dwight because the Magic are…..uh, winning? Wasn’t that supposed to be part of the reason behind Howard’s restlessness? Part of it, yes, but as Smith says, “Dwight wants to be in a big market. There’s nothing I can do about that.”
And the phrase from Dwight that has to turn every Magic fans’ stomach: Even if this is the last season, let’s go out hard, regardless.
Howard told the Sentinel he has not withdrawn his trade request, and Smith confirmed that the team has not made any inroads in changing his mind.>
There’s part of me that thinks the Magic should do the deal for Bynum now instead of dragging out the inevitable. That is, of course, if Howard would accept a trade to the Lakers.
Even though the Lakers are on his list, it is believed that New Jersey is his first choice (big market, no Kobe to share the marquee).

IMO they're just saying the Nets now to be nice. We know he ain't coming here anymore.

Is Dwight really not wanting to go to LA because he'd have to share the spotlight with Kobe? Wow. Just wow.
