Re: Could Dwight Be Playing Somewhere Else Next Season?

I'll say that I don't think Dwight WANTS to leave, but he may just be fed up with the lack of trying to acquire other legit pieces for a championship. I mean look, this guy is in Orlando, looking across the way, and seeing the Big 3 in Miami take control of Florida. He want's to control the state of Florida and create that Miami-Orlando rivalry.

Dwight will not be traded before the season starts. But unless Orlando makes a run at somebody, he will leave. It's sad because He's one of my favorite players and Orlando became one of my favorite teams, but it is what it is, and it's on the Front Office to determine how much they want him. This is becoming a league of superstar-filled teams, and Dwight doesn't want to be left behind. Which, leads me to this presumption....

The Magic need to make an offer to Golden State for Monta Ellis.

He'd be great in the Magic offense. He'd be able to play the 2 alongside Jameer Nelson AND the 1 when Nelson is off the court. He'd be the primary scorer and create shots for himself and Dwight. We all saw what Wade did for Shaq.

But seriously, Orlando needs to realize that this is their SECOND chance at losing a dominant superstar, and third (as I remember, including T-Mac) superstar period. Teams rarely get that in such a short span; look at the span of Derrick Rose to MJ for the Bulls, for example.

      Monta Ellis for who though?

And the Magic front office had the chance to do something and they chose to bring in Hedo Turkoglu.

I don't think Dwight wants to be in Orlando. Yeah maybe he liked being the main focus but it's clear he wants to be a mega entertainment star, beyond just basketball. He's going to go where he can become that star whether he gets traded this season or not.

Why does the Howard/Paul situations feel like it’s free agency, when in reality, they aren’t actual free agents?

I swear some of these guys need to actually think about what they write before they put something out there.

I agree that Orlando need to do something but they don't exactly have many peices that other teams are going to want so I don't see how they could even possibly attract another superstar.

Who the hell wants any of these guys enough to give up a superstar:

                Hedo
                Arenas
                Nelson
                QRich
                Ryan Anderson
                Orton
                Redick

From what I can see the only players with any value besides Dwight would be JRich and Brandon Bass but ain't nobody sending them a Deron Williams calibre player for those guys....

I really think Dwight's best move is chicago. Playing alongside reigning mvp rose and bulls defense. Not sure what pieces should be traded

He needs to make up his mind and stop BSing around and let the Magic know what he wants because it's only going to get worse for HIM because the questions will not go away and he'll just continue to get frustrated by them.

No need to drag this out longer than it should.

Dwight is too damn nice, naive and indecisive. You're not supposed to possess all of those traits.

Dwight Howard is asking to be traded to the Nets. The Nets are prepared to send the Magic Brook Lopez and two first-round picks in return. Fellow Nets fans, what are your thoughts? Personally, I would like to get Howard if it means convincing D. Will to re-sign. We still need other pieces, though.
