Even Jordan isn't that bad of an owner to pass over Davis, Kidd - Gilchrist or Robinson lol

He gets destroyed by guys that are taller/longer than him in college. In the NBA, everyone he faces will be. He'll be a Corliss Williamson/Big Baby type player.
I'm hoping his low post game is better than Big Baby which will make him a better pro but yeah I could see that happening. If he can continue to develop his post game and jump shot even further he could have a Z-Bo / Boozer ceiling imo.

Kidd-Gilchrist is going to be a beast defensively, it will be interesting to see how he goes on the offensive end.

Remember, he drafted Kwame Brown. So he's capable of drafting ANYBODY.

I can imagine Jordan not drafting Davis. I can't imagine what the outcry will be if he doesn't draft Davis if Bobcats get first pick. lol.

Yeah I was thinking best case scenario Sullinger could be like Al Jefferson. I wouldn't take him top 5, but in the 2nd tier of the first round would be alright. I did lose a little faith after watching Withey eat him up, but he's less likely to be matched up with 7 footers in the NBA, which would leave a weaker defender on Monroe (in the Detroit scenario).

Not stupid but I don't think anyone would pass up an opportunity to get such a skilled big as Davis who can play both ends of the floor.

I think MKG will make a great pro but he's not a great offensive player whereas Davis should be able to contribute nicely on both ends from day one and the lack of skilled bigs makes him even more valuable. He'll need to bulk up a little bit though as he's still very skinny and could get man handled down low.

I'm very happy with the options available for the Hornets given they will seemingly get a top 3 pick and then another lottery pick.

Hopefully they can win the lottery

You have to draft Anthony Davis.

But that wasn't a dumb decision when it happened. Looking back yea it was but we don't know what anyone will become.

Actually, it was a bad pick. If I could remember, Kwame was part of probably one of the worst drafts in recent history. So at the time, there wasn't any 'can't miss' prospects. So leading up to the draft, Kwame was no 'sure' fire' number one pick. There were many questions surrounding him outside of just being a high school player. Some felt during that time that Chandler should have been number one. BUT one of the big things that went against Kwame was that he was a 19-year old high school senior. His dominance on the high school level at 19 against 17-18 year old kids can be looked at as overrated. But Jordan decided to go with Kwame, and he paid for it.
