Doc made a good point after the game, in addition to the size advantage '92 had they also wouldn't succumb to the ball pressure that '12 would apply.

'12 also wouldn't get so many easy and open walk-up threes that Durant and Melo lived on. I said it earlier but Pippen vs Durant would have been the most important matchup in this game. Durant would have to use screens to get open like he does in the NBA and work a lot harder to get his looks, not just camp out behind the arc like he did in London.

That would also hold true for '92 (open looks). They benefited from a lot of open looks.

Im taking the 92' Dream team.....

However, if this team had a Healthy D. Rose and D. Howard, I think they could take the 92' team on pure athleticism and youth.

Even a undersized not that athletic Joe Dumars slowed him some, he's by far the best ever but he's not superman.. I don't think he just go out for 40-50 no problem against this 2012 team.. And I'm the biggest Jordan fan I know..

LOL, Dumars didn't slow down ish. Check the stats. MJ used to routinely light up Dumars. Dumars gets overrated in his defense of MJ partly because MJ gave him too much praise, but he had the likes of Rodman, Laimbeer, Salley and Mahorn to meet MJ when MJ blew past him.

And kill that talk about you being the biggest MJ homer you know. You know me now, and I'm the biggest MJ homer there is.

smh, another thread of Jordan was a God, Son, you must have forgotten that Jordan was a 99 everything create a player.

if these 2 teams played in a championship game, Jordan couldnt possibly have an offnight shooting. and if he did have an offnight shooting, it couldnt possibly be because any other player (say like a bigger, stronger, faster, quicker LBJ) on any given night/game could do a decent job guarding him.

to whoever, learn from other ppl's mistakes and do yourself a favor, stop arguing with Jordan Fans; because its not enough for them that Jordan is considered to be the Greatest Of All Time. Its, if you mention any player in the same sentence with MJ, it always (never fails) turns into a Jordan was a 99 everything created player and every other great player in history was a D-Leaguer in comparison to him.

Before the Olympics I thought maybe this years team could take them but after watching Spain pound it inside and almost pull it out , I don't think they could withstand the power of the '92 team.

Fundamentals and IQ are also equally overrated by some....it's almost talked about like its magic...you need a good bit of both to play at a high level...
