Re: 2014 Draft Class
i dont really watch kentucky so im still waiting to see the twins do something..they may be playing well already but i have no idea they arent covered at all lol
-hypothetically speaking, say the nets pick ends up being #1 for Atlanta...who do you think they go after? i think smart(to play SG) or parkerLast edited by turty11; 11-30-2013, 06:09 PM.Comment

I don't think they are capable of being big time 1-and-done players. I think they need to stay around and develop.. The only problem is they chose Kentucky, and they would likely get replaced by legit 1-and-done guys in the future if they do stay..
I saw a couple of their high school games and was never big on them from the start.. It might be worth it for some of the better NBA teams to take a chance on them late in the first or in the second round. But for the teams trying to improve now or rebuild I would stay away from either of them because I don't believe they will provide immediate impact in the league.
I believe Andrew is the one projected to crack the top 15ish in the first round?? I wouldn't risk it.Comment

Re: 2014 Draft Class
I believe they start Carroll at SF? They already have Williams and Korver who can knock down shots at the SG spot.. They can continue to split minutes there.
Their weakness is lacking a really athletic forward who can create his own looks. I think Wiggins could provide this.. Moving Carroll out of the line-up and Martin out of the rotation.Comment

Re: 2014 Draft Class
UK fan here.Aaron Harrison had 2 break out games so far.Andrew has been steady thus far. With top recruits everywhere someone has to take a backseat. They been playing good.by SEC tourney time that's normally when UK hits it strides.Comment

Wiggins I think.. While in most cases I would rather have Parker I think I would prefer Wiggins for the Hawks..

Re: 2014 Draft Class
Haven't missed much of Jabari so far. I said coming out of HS he reminded me more of PP than anything. It's dumb sports networks like ESPN that started the Wiggns=LeBron etc. I have a lot of comparisons that but I want to hear some of you guys first. And also watch more as the season progress.Comment

i have still yet to buy into the hype. i havent, and most likely wont buy into the superstar hype until he starts showing something more than what hes got now... we will see come marchComment

Re: 2014 Draft Class
And I'd say Beasley was much better in terms of ball-handling, shot, and creating his own shot. I'd give Gordon the edge in terms of scoring off the ball though. He does a great job of cutting, running the floor, etc.
I'm trying to decide if Gordon is more Shawn Marion than Blake Griffin like a lot of people have compared him too.NFL: Bills
NBA: Bucks
MLB: Cubs
NCAA: Syracuse
Soccer: USMNT/DC United

Re: 2014 Draft Class
Yeah, Gordon is a far better defender. Gordon did a great job defending Jabari last night, and had a couple of blocks too.

Re: 2014 Draft Class
This is true but more so for UK and other teams that's loaded with recruits ever season. For UK that's normally when the PG starts to shine. Then the entire offense is ran much smoothly. Sort of night and day by SEC time.Comment
