I'm really starting to fall in love with him. His fundamentals are amazing for any big man prospect, much less a kid that just started playing basketball a couple years ago. If he continues to develop as the year goes on, I think he might end up being in the mix of the #1 overall pick.Last edited by Yeah...THAT Guy; 12-15-2013, 12:23 PM.NFL: Bills

Re: 2014 Draft Class
I think he'll probably go top 5. But anyone doesn't agree that he could be big isn't watching his games.

Re: 2014 Draft Class
Good looking stroke on that FT at the end. Seems to have pretty active hands and a good motor for a big. That guy he was checking from New Mexico was huge. He needs to add upper body strength but one thing I've heard said about guys who start playing hoops late is that they don't have enough time to pick up bad habits so when they get proper coaching (Self's a pretty damn good developer of players) they soak it up like a sponge.
I still think he'd benefit from being in college one more year but his improvement from Game 1 until now is noticeable.Comment

Re: 2014 Draft Class
I was reading that alot of scouts are switching to Parker as the number one player now.

Re: 2014 Draft Class
Interesting that as Wiggins finally starts to get comfortable and begin having a few big games that scouts are moving over to Parker now as the top choice. Re: 2014 Draft Class
its not suprising...parker is a win now kind of guy, where wiggins is probably keeping you in the lottery again, and alot of these teams want to start winning to sell ticketsComment

Re: 2014 Draft Class
The numbers don't lie. Jabari has 35lbs on Wiggins at the same height. Jabari is scoring 6 more ppg and 1.5 more rpg on the same number of minutes. Jabari is shooting 55% and 47% from three. Wiggins is shooting 48% and 34% from three - here's the kicker, Jabari shoots 4 more shots per game, yet has a higher efficiency.
Parker is a winner and a high-character guy. Won 4 state titles, 3x athlete/player of the year, 2x Mr. Basketball.
I'd take Parker number 1. Wiggins might not even be the bets player on his team when the draft comes around.Fan of:
