One last thing. People followed butterbean, not because he was white, but because he was fat.

If that isn't the biggest crock...

      People rooted for Gonzaga because-
      1) it was the NCAA tourney
      2) they were the underdog

Not because the majority of players were white.

Re: For those who are white-americans...

i stand by my statements about carter and where black qb are picked to play. i didnt say that carter didnt get the same as the white qb when it comes to get the fans riding him hard. I am saying i dont think he will get the same treatment as kitna, johnson whoever. When it comes to them let him learn from his mistakes. those other qb were the starter and they were given a fair chance to keep there position i dont think this will be the case with carter.

And yes i believe the city and having a black coach gives you better chance of getting drafted. Those qb actually having talent kept them around but. I still feel the location and the coach makes it a easier decision on picking the black qb. vick speed gave him something different but for just a good decision making black qb with out some unbelievable size speed arm strength. I dont see just anybody picking up a black joe montana or a black flutie. joe was good coming out of college nobody new how good he would be a black qb mirrioring joe college career today would not be drafted to start or for second string. unless he was going to black coach or black heavy populated city.

Except in Kitna's case he went to the pro bowl I believe last year or was an alternate to it, and his job has already been given away. Carter still has his job, despite being a turnover machine. Carter's problem is he hasn't improved and he wilts against better teams. Not to mention the incredible pressure to win and perform in Dallas.

It would help if there were more white NBA super stars, but truth be told, NBA is dominated by Black athletes.. Not a bad thing.. Just pointing out the obvious..

Agreed, and I don't really see many big time white players in the pipeline ready to enter the league.
