If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)

You're kidding, right?
Flagrant fouls stem from a player being excited?
Please.

Re: For those who are white-americans...

It may be a suprise to you, but most people listen to music that they identify with culturally. How much rap/r&b do your hear at Nascar events? How much country do you hear at NBA games? In many schools, you have the kids returning to separate proms (black/white), in effect de facto segregation.

In general, you can still say that Black people will root for the Williams sisters, white people still cheer louder for the white heavyweight contender, and hispanics look up to their ballplayers/athletes.

You may like D. McNabb/Vick but there are just as many who don't. We all had the opportunity to hear them come out hiding when Rush Limbaugh made his comments. QBs drive the NFL. Peyton Manning, Brett Favre, Tom Brady, McNabb, Vick, McNair. But the day you see black qbs starting on 20-30 teams is the day that tvs are being turned to something else in many homes.

What I presented was a hypothetical scenario, that I don't believe the NFL will allow happen.

Look, do you ever wonder why fringe sports (America) are starting to gain tremendous popularity (soccer, lacrosse, college baseball, NASCAR). Look at the participants, then look at the crowd, what do you see that's similar? Listen to the music that's being played, smell the food that's being cooked on grills. Obviously a group of people have identified with the players and have made the game a cultural event.

YOu want to see it in reverse, go to one of these street ballers/mix tape events. Look at the particpants and look at the crowds, listen to the music.

Basically, my response was when someone called Kenyon Martin a thug. No arrest record and he is a COLLEGE GRADUATE! What kind of thug never gets arrested and graduates from college?

I'd argue that some of the biggest names in the NFL play a position other than QB and happen to be African American. Ray Lewis, Randy Moss, Terrell Owens, Marshall Faulk and the list can go on. These guys are more marketable than a Favre or Manning in my honest opinion. Yet I still don't see the ratings dropping year after year in the NFL. Go figure.
