He doesn't but he's also a Coach that gets stuck in his ways and can be a little stubborn.

He'd rather force his players to adjust to HIS system even if it's obvious they don't fit as opposed adjusting to the talent he has on the team. Hopefully this won't be the case again if he gets the job.

And Faried being labeled as an overpaid hustle guy is an unfair and lazy label to throw at him.

Those Phoenix teams were awesome and fun to watch but he is still a one trick pony and should not get another head coaching job. He deserves credit for what he did in Phoenix, it was innovative, but now the rest of the league has copied it to some degree. And he's shown no ability to adjust to his personnel, or to coach defense.

Unfair to him but that's kind of the answer to that question that was posed. They were even talking about trading him at one point

Man just because Denver was talking about trading him doesn't make that an accurate description of that dude. This is the same team that overpaid Nene with a deal that people said was terrible before it was even signed and traded him two months later.

Roster isn't all that flawed.. Just move Wilson Chandler for a shooting guard that hits 3's..

Lawson, Gallo, Faried should all fit nice in an up and down system.

Than give a better description of him. He is the epitome of a garbage player, albeit a fairly good one. You ain't running no plays for him, nor do you ever want to see him shoot a jumper. He runs the floor, finishes around the rim, and is an active defender but not a great low-post defender.

Did Faried come into the league as a shooter or something?

A hustle player that many teams would kill for.

Knock him because the Denver staff has no idea how to utilize him?

He'd put up monster numbers on a team like the Clippers for instance.

BigEast pretty much summed up my thoughts on him.

Hell, what you just described him is basically what consist of maybe half the bigs in the league that's already in the league yet Faried gets knocked because he had a Coach that tried to turn him into something we all know he's not and he knows Faried is not?

I think most people, including myself, really only have a problem with his salary relative to his skill set. But with that limited skill set how are you supposed to use him to get more out of him?

He doesn't have a low post game. He can't face-up and hit a jumper. All he can do is run the floor, finish on dives, and get putbacks on offense. He took slightly more shots under Shaw from the 3-10ft ranger but part of that could be down to defenses adjusting.

I give him credit in that he found his niche and he's quite good at it but for ~$12 mil a year I would expect more.

Pistons hired Arn Tellem, one of the biggest agents in the NBA, if not the biggest. I have no idea what this really means but I'd like to think it's a positive.

Denver Nuggets guard Jameer Nelson is planning to opt out of his $2.85 million player option for the 2015-16 season to enter free agency, league sources told RealGM.

Could see him in Cleveland as a backup, or maybe in Houston. Guess he would be still a good option for a bench unit.

That's kinda how I view Tristan Thompson too. He's a better defensive player than Faried, but they're pretty comparable otherwise. Thompson gonna get more $$$ than Faried, not sure either deal is a good idea though.

Thompson is a better rebounder and can play two positions. Faried is better with the ball will more potential as a scorer.
