All depends on the circumstances. If he shoots forty shots to get 40 points and has to later apologize to his teammates for ball hogging, then yea, he'd agree with me he was being a ball hog. Shoots less, you mean like in the LA/Sac game? Oh yea to throw a temper tantrum because the coach hurt his feelings.
All around game aint always all around when you have teammates complaining they cant get a pass or you totally screw the team in the finals by not passing. Again, not always the case, but most of those circumstances come from him doing things for Kobe, not the team.
But this has to be the biggest of them all. On one hand, when Kobe DOES win championships with Shaq, people come out and say he is a second fiddle, coattail rider of Shaq, he wasn't the man, and they just discredit the hell out of him.
Well, he was second fiddle, but coattail rider, naw. Neither of those guys would have won without eachother, and it probably applys to ths day.
Why do players win championships? To get that "feeling?" Yes. To get that sense of accomplishment? Yes. But every sports athlete, every human being wants to be the best and wants to win championships to be recognized and credited for. I don't care what you say, but everyone wants to earn the credit of winning it all.
Tell that to the DET Pistons. Didnt see them trying to hog the glory form one another. They got credit as a "team"
So Kobe figures, he's won back-to-back-to-back championships, yet people still doubt him, still discredit his game because of Shaq. People actually come out and say, "he should lead a team of his own, no Shaq, if he wants to be considered an elite player." So Kobe now has found himself on a new team. The result?
There is no doubt he's talented, not a bit.Did Shaq make things easier for him, yes he did, and to say he didnt is just dishonest. He is already considered elite my man, and he can lead a team if he chooses, but the whole way he went about it was just wrong, and I am disappointed in you all who defend the mess that was happening.

Really, Kobe had just as much to do with alot of this as the people who complain about it. He's nowhere near innocent as people try to make him sound, like he's a victim. Did he deserve all of the flak from Shaq and Phil always...I dont think so, but alot of it he did. In the end, the coach is fired, the MDE is traded, and Kobe signed again the day after it all happened. Now as you said, he has "his" team
