I just don't think he was. I mean he had the best numbers, played on the best team, won the most games, definitely deserved his MVP.

But he wasn't the best player to me.

The best player in the league (and therefore on the planet) has to at least show up in the playoffs. It's always been that way. There isnt an exception for Steph.

He wasn't even the best player on his own team during the playoffs. Out of 13 finals games, he's been the best player on his own team probably three times out of 13. Yes that does matter when comparing players. It always has mattered.

So I know 'Kyrie was the real MVP of the series' was one of the main talking points for the anti LeBron guys on their last leg today, but does any one tbink s
he should of actually been the MVP?...his final #'s were actually pretty damn good.

I still give it to Lebron, he was the man leading the way but Kyrie was great too. It's close honestly.

I think you could make a good argument for Kyrie being MVP... but LeBron's argument is just leaps and bounds better.

If Golden State had a guy who could have scored a ****ing basket in that 4 minutes stretch they'd probably have won it.

They have plenty of guys who could've, they're the best team ever, remember? They just didn't.

And btw that switch defense was a joke too. One p'n'r at the top and Lebron got whoever he wanted on him. I just don't get that and that's bugged me the whole series. On shooters I understand but on Lebron on the permiter, it makes no sense.

Kerr responded: "You guys should ask some of the old-time players, they have a better idea of how to guard Steph than the new coaches do. All of us new coaches have no idea what we're doing."

Shouldn't have been so sarcastic Steve Kerr

Only thing I don't like about Cleveland winning, is that Dan Gilbert and Dahntay Jones win too.
