The most important question is will Nike let LeBron and AD switch jersey numbers now?

      My offseason hopes ranked.

      1. Isaiah Thomas returns to the Celtics.

      2. All forms of video review is abolished.

      3. A player flop results in an automatic 5-game suspension.

      4. Excessive whining to an official results in an automatic 3-game suspension.

      5. The season either starts in empty arenas safely or we have no season at all. No more bubble ball.

If it helps clean up the product, you bet. The constant flopping and complaining across the league is out of control.

Now that I think of it here are is another grievance I would like to result in change.

6a. Allow defenders to defend 3-point shooters.

6b. Any player caught jumping forward into a defender receives a technical foul.

NBA players got European soccer players looking like NFL linebackers with all the nonsense happening on the court.

Lol, I feel you....just had to get that in.

Along with flopping IMO, These bump and flail blocking calls, particularly coming off the screen need to go.

The game is wide open now, we don't need this stuff to drive up scoring. It really uglies the game up.

              Danny Green - 15.3M expiring
              Kuzma - 3.5M
              1st round pick
Javale Mcgee or Quinn Cook - If you need some more salary total 7.2 M
I don't think they will even be aiming for someone locked into a long contract.

I'm salivating at the thought of the Lakers adding Bertans. He needs to be their #1 target.

And Golden State is the LAST place I want to see him land, lol

I want Javale McGee to go and do Dwight/Boogie but McGee has a PO, so I doubt he's going anywhere.

                  I want KCP back.

I want Bradley back, just deepens the backcourt with another 3&D guy.

                  I want Playoff Rondo back.

I'd take Kieff if Bertans can't be secured.

Well now I'm looking at the FA list. Here's guys who intrigue me:

                  - Davis Bertans
                  - Mo Harkless
                  - Joe Harris
                  - Aron Baynes

He is on Atlanta's list also and the expected price tag starts at 15 million per year from what I gather. Since we have 40+ million in cap space at worst we will probably a offer more then 10 per year.

A name I like for LA is Dennis Schroder he is in the final year of his deal and OKC doesn't seem to be trying to make the playoffs next year. His contact is up after next year and while he isn't a great shooter he can score.

                      - Joe Harris
                      - Aron Baynes
I'm assuming all the player options will be back, the biggest question for the Lakers would be if Dwight and Morris would return for similar deals that they are currently on. If so I think the Lakers should offer the bulk of their MLE to Gallo because with Gallo and Morris both on the roster Kuzma is tradable. And the bi-annual, or rest of their MLE could be spent on Baynes. That would make JaVale tradable, and AB's contract, meaning they could unload those expirings along with Kuz or their first round pick to upgrade for someone like JJ Redick, Seth Curry, Dennis Schroder, without losing Green or KCP.

Guys like Ibaka, Gallinari, Teague, Favors, Tristan Thompson, Joe Harris, Bertans, Alec Burks, Austin Rivers, Harkless, Baynes those are likely the guys who might be in play for the Lakers two exceptions. Some of them like Bertans and Harris will likely price themselves out of that.

I wonder if Rondo wants to run it back or go retire in Boston.

Harris ain’t leaving so y’all can’t stop mentioning his name as a FA.

I fully expect Davis to re-sign in LA and if he does decide to leave it would probably only be to come home.

With that in mind, in the unlikely scenario that he opts out and signs with the Bulls or wherever. Where do the Lakers go from there? What are they’re realistic options?

Hope the Jazz run it back. Maybe trade Ingles at the right price and get a more dynamic wing either off the bench or to replace Royce in the starting lineup

I've heard some Conley for Tobias Harris ideas and while I dont hate it, I think I'd rather run it back with Conley since he'll be expiring next year. He's a great presence for the team too. Get Bogdanovic healthy and the team could beat anybody IMO

I’m ready to get hyped for a new Knick when the draft hits, hopefully we can sign some shooting. Competing is a long way away, but hopefully we can at least give RJ some space to work with.

Absolute best option in this ****ty off-season pool I could see would be convincing DeRozan to decline his player option to "go home". At least as far as just next year goes. If they were fine not shooting for a "star" maybe something like a 1 year deal from Gallinari.

Best option longer term would be playing out next year with a similar roster - AD, likely losing in the first round and then going all in after next year for the Giannis bowl. Theoretically they would have the cap space for 2-max guys, Giannis, Gobert, CP3, Lowry, Kawhi, PG, Oladipo, Blake, Hayward, Conley, Jrue, DeRozan, Porter, Drummond, Adams..

Absolute BEST case would be AD leaves, Lakers play for next year, they land Giannis, and then Chris Paul declines his player option to come play with Bron on an old-man deal and they sign vets similar to this years roster to pair with Kuzma, THT, this years pick.
