You believe those particular rumors or are you just entertaining them because there’s nothing else worth discussing in general during this time of the offseason?

I mean you never know but in this particular instance they made it "sound" legitimate and was something Golden State has been split on internally. Obviously you never know, but not every "rumor" that pops up is treated that way on their shows, and just as a comparison the Dame or Beal to GS speculations were not on going talking points on that show like this has been. But this scenario has also been discussed all the way back to before the draft to now, so it still hasn't died. Some "rumors" claim Sixers actually made GS an offer, but again I don't know how much stock you put into that either. Regardless this feels like one of those where there is smoke there is fire situations, even if we are talking just sparks.

Tons of articles online currently about that topic, this one from RealGM makes it sound unlikely but still mentions GS being internally divided on fit. It's possible where there was once even some interest it's dwindling away for that reason. https://basketball.realgm.com/wireta...Draymond-Green

The graphic I posted with the 3 teams was just a random IG "what if" I found. I only posted that because I felt Golden State also getting back a guy like Bagley would make it more realistic for them to pull the trigger if they actually are "split" internally on a Simmons move. Personally I would just move on from Draymond if that meant getting Ben and keeping Wiggins, or getting Ben and other pieces from other teams to replace Dray/Wiggins.

Hawks lock up Clint for another 2 years and 46 million. This will lock him up for his prime and you still can trade him down the road when the young guy is ready to take over.

I guess they feel Buddy Hield and Bagley is sufficient enough of a package for Simmons or Siakam lol. But I do get not wanting to move off of Fox and Haliburton. Haliburton is a good fit alongside either Fox or Mitchell. Fox is locked in for another 4-5 years and wants to be there.

If Sacramento is out then what does Minnesota have to offer ? I’m assuming they aren’t giving up KAT and Edwards. So that leaves at best Dlo, Beasley and some picks.

It'll likely be a Harden-esque deal where you see 3-4 teams in the deal. I wouldn't mind Beasley as a piece of the deal. I don't think Sixers lost any leverage with Simmons making it official. But, it does push up deadline. Where before, I do think they were okay with him coming into training camp and maybe early part of season. Now, I don't think they want that distraction.

I'd throw Milton in a deal, but not including Maxey or Matisse unless it is for a Dame deal. Assuming Dame is off the table, I would just want a deal that brings back a PG, Shot Creator, strengthens bench. I like Milton but he isn't a 6th man on a contender and don't want him being the defacto backup PG.

Even if it is something like Brodgon, Beasley heading back to Philly with Ben to Wolves and Milton and picks to Pacers, I take that type of deal. I would move Curry to the 6th man spot and start Brogdon and Beasley, and want to start Matisse over Green as well. That way our bench looks a lot better with Maxey, Curry, Green/Furkan, Niang, and Drummond/Reed. Something like that I would like

Pacers aren’t trading Brogdon for Shake Milton and some of Philly’s picks c’mon now lol. Especially after getting Caris but not a full season with everyone healthy. They’re aiming for the playoffs.

I was just talking in general. I don't Ben fits in Indiana with both Sabonis and Turner. I think he would fit more with Turner more than Sabonis. If Minnesota is involved, they would need to include D-Lo or Bev for salary so that aren't hitting the luxury. So, likely need a 4th team anyway.
It all depends on whether they want Maxey to start or come off the bench still. Definitely need a facilitating PG regardless. Like I said, they should target a PG and
a 3 Level Shot Creator. I'm still okay with trading Tobias as well. While he improved, this was his peak.

Nowadays it’s not hard to make any trade rumor sound legitimate either on TV, Radio or Social Media, especially with how easy it is to hide behind the “Sources told me” angle, lol.

I don’t think he’s ending up in Golden State though. Always thought and still believe that it’s more fluff than substance. Unless he specifically tells Philly that’s where he wants to go, like every other big name player before him has done.

I don't think he has the leverage to demand where he wants to go. Not just because of playoffs, but contract. Even someone like Harden had 2 years, not 4 years. Only way I see them trading him to preferred destination is if is likely a 3 team deal that brings them back a win now players

They need to just take back McCollum and be done with it. They’ve poisoned the well to the point where everyone knows he wants out, and Sacramento is offering you Buddy Hield. End the shenanigans Morey.

I am okay with that. I rather have CJ than a D-Lo centered package or even Brogdon. I wouldn't mind a Maxey-CJ-Matisse-Harris-Embiid with Curry and Green being the first two off the bench. But is a Dame-Powell-Roco-Ben-Nurkic even better than a 7th seed ceiling they are at now. That puts even more pressure on Dame and Powell because you got 2 non-spacers and RoCo has always been a very streaky shooter.
