the only weird thing there was maybe Reggie Jackson that's it. Cam Payne and Huerter were very similar to what they were doing in the regular season. that's not really comparable to what happened in the bubble what so ever. It's fine though.

Brooklyn Nets F Alize Johnson has cleared waivers, he is now an unrestricted free agent.

A little surprised nobody claimed him. Really wish the Bulls would have made that move, though I do kinda like the Stanley Johnson move they made earlier today.

Nevermind. Woj reporting now that Alize Johnson has agreed to a 2 year, $3.6 million deal with the Chicago Bulls.

Arturas and Eversley have absolutely crushed this offseason for me. I haven't been excited about Bulls basketball to start a season since Derrick and Thibs were last here man.

            So we're looking something like

            Ball/White/Dotson
            LaVine/Caruso/Jones Jr/Dosunmu
            DeRozen/S. Johnson/Green/Brown Jr.
            Williams/A. Johnson
            Vuevic/Bradley/Simonovic

I really like what they did all around. Really expecting BIG things this year. At the very least 6-8 seed.

I've also brought this up several times but I have a tough time believing Anthony Davis would've stayed healthy that full season without the 3 month layoff until the bubble

Payne, Jackson, Portis, Huerter, etc is really not much different than Herro averaging 2 more ppg in the playoffs than the regular season and acting like it was some bubble magic lol. Booker dropping 47 in his first ever close out game is not much different than Mitchell and Murray going off in a couple games. Y’all reaching just a tad.

This would be the legitimate bubble benefit. But it’s not like he hasn’t been healthy for the playoffs outside of just that season too.

Well when he was with the Pels he had only been in the playoffs twice, a big reason for that was his lack of good health

Then he was healthy for the bubble. Then back to glass this year

                        Yeah? He’s injury prone.

Which is what I was saying man [emoji23] you said he had other playoff series where he was healthy. I pointed out two with the Pels and that was it

Right, but that's still two others? He's played in every game of every playoff series he's been qualified for prior to this year. You insinuated the only way he could make it through a postseason was to play in a bubble year. Sample size is small regardless but there is more evidence in that small sample that size he'll be playing come playoff time than not. Looks like the only season he's been out at seasons end was 2016. So it seems that if his team had been good enough to make it in he would have played in all but two postseasons if you're counting the games he went down this postseason.

I mean I didn't disagree with your point that him being healthy might have been the biggest benefit for the Lakers in terms the time off and bubble and all that. But I don't think we can just insinuate that credit should be taken from, or stock shouldn't be put into the Lakers winning for playing the same brand of ball they did all year. They went into the playoffs a 1 seed with the best defense in the league lol.
