Never realized Moses Brown put up some nice numbers this year.

I'd rather have Brown over the 16th pick, but Kemba over Horford.

What if they trade that 1st overall pick plus other picks for Zion?
They sure have the draft captial to make almost any deal happen lol

I could see OKC hanging onto Kemba and flip him in a year. I'm not sure how a Kemba, SGA, and Cunningham pairing would fit.

It all depends on how patient they are with this rebuild. They have the ammunition to accelerate it very fast or to slowly build out a team on picks alone. I wouldn't try to accelerate it unless I "hit big" this year. Then you would have SGA and gem player. Then I would package picks next year for either #1 pick or proven young player to accelerate rebuild

don't really care about moving the 1st round pick would've preferred moving for like a wing or something but the fact is they wouldn't of been able to trade kemba without attaching it to a trade. Kemba was really great that 1st half year but injuries happen which sucks with Jaylen's leap and they will probably be able to sign Fournier now so they will be fine. I also really got tired of the good for 2 weeks and then in the game that matters getting more shots than Jaylen and going 4-18. The trade is probably neutral or even below average but big picture it's probably pretty fine. They will probably trade TT now i assume.

Doesn't this trade make Boston better both short and long term ? Its not like they now have $ to spend in FA now.

Yeah it does, especially if they can now move Thompson for something.

All in all the Celtics made out best as one could hope for getting out from under Kemba’s contract. Gives them greater cap flexibility sooner than before. There is a path there now to make significant additions after next season. Basically get Brown for the 16th pick, which to me is pretty decent. Celtics don’t exactly need another mid 1st rounder wasting space on the roster. And you get Horford back to be a much needed adult voice in that locker room. Still a ton of work to be done though. What to do with Smart? Timelord? Thompson? Fournier? All the useless crap Ainge drafted just eating up roster spots? I’m open to radical changes across the board not involving Jayson and Jaylen. You made Stevens team president for crying out loud, so why stop there?

Let's talk Reggie Jackson...this guy is on a vet minimum contract and this dude couldn't get any run in the bubble against Denver last year. Now he's starting over 2 point guards on the roster making $13.3 million and $7.5 million respectively.

Wtf changed? Does he get paid this offseason? Can the Clippers pay him big?

His production on the vet minimum is absurd...but he was trash in the bubble last year so it makes sense why he didn't get a big contract in the offseason.

I don’t see him getting more then the full MLE range which is around 9 mill per

Probably end up taking the tax payer MLE to stay with LAC

                        I think they'd have to.

I read that Blake was thinking of signing in Boston, asked a friend of his on the team, and they told him not to.

I don't follow any of that, but people said Blake dated some Kardashian or something, and Thompson married one, so they might have built a relationship that way.

Atlanta pretty much has to match the max offer Collins is going to get now. I don't see how you can do a sign and trade even if its a sweep vs the bucks. Your clearly not going to let him walk for nothing.

That's why you have to cut ties before you get to this situation. I don't think he is a max player but you don't want to lose him for nothing

Yea this Atlanta roster could quickly become expensive fast the easiest way to fix that would be dump Gallo to someone this summer. Huerter also made a lot of $, but I don't expect a deal to get done with him this summer.

I don't think the front office wants to pay him the max, but I'm sure some time is going to. You can't be coming off this magical season and then trade one of your best players that fits in so well.
