Oh I just it looks like they are working towards a new deal. I'm not good at salary and rosters

Harden would’ve been better off staying in Houston, man lol

Did all this on 3 teams just to keep wanting out every year.

Feels like Harden will end up in LA and Philly’s time as a contender is likely done

Should've known that doing stuff around the house since my daughter was sleep that I would miss stuff lol

For me, I love it lol. Yes for sure, we're a worse team without Harden. But, I didn't want the loser energy coming back. Plus the Harden-Embiid offense was unbearably slow lol.

If it is the Clippers, I am surprised that they didn't pick up Gordon's option. Would've made it a lot easier to match salaries with Gordon plus someone like Covington or Morris.

I do see a trade happening before the new CBA officially start. I'm just surprised that Morey didn't let his bromance with Harden cloud his decision making

Is this happening because the 76ers don't want him or Hardin doesn't want to play for the 76ers?

I think it's more of Philly didn't want to commit long term to Harden. With this new CBA, the amount of money players are getting won't change. But, you have to be strategic on how you build your team. If this was the old CBA, I think they'd sign him long term and deal with it later.

I think Gordon was out regardless because they want to shed money not just swap it out. There were also reports earlier saying they wanted to trade Powell to get under the 2nd apron. So basically lose him and Gordon for very little in return.

Would honestly fix a lot of issues for both teams to swap he and PG. Not sure Philly has the draft capital or young pieces to make the Clippers bite on that. And they want that big 3.

Just money though Morris and Powell gets them to Harden. Not an amazing return for Philly but Powell was really solid last year. I feel like y’all would have to find a way to move off Tobias though.

I'd trade Tobias as well. I'd extend Maxey now and hand over the reigns. I didn't think Maxey can reach whatever his ceiling is with Harden here. I'd try to change the surrounding players of the team. I'd only resign Reed and let other FAs walk. If I could get 4-5 quality rotation players from Harden and Tobias trades, I'd be happy. I would bench Tucker. If they could be one of those teams that are a 3rd-6th seed that could make noise in the playoffs, I'd be happy with that

If that’s the plan, y’all better hope Embiid is built like Dame.

If Morey waited until the trade deadline to trade Ben Simmons just to get Harden, he's going to want good value in return.
I wouldn't mind a Powell and Morris. But that would be 3 PFs with Harris, Tucker, and Morris. Even if you trade Harris, you'd still need a starting caliber SF. I would want Terance Mann in the deal

I don't think New York makes sense.

Honestly, I don't think he is lol, at least not to Dame's level. He's "bought in" to Philadelphia. Ben Simmons was never bought in. I think as long as Philly shows they're trying to win, I think Joel will good there. When you think of Dame and Beal, you question whether the organization did enough to win.

If they do trade Harden and Harris, I don't want to rely on the 2024 Cap Space route. If you take out Jaylen Brown, the best guy is Siakam. That doesn't entice me

Shams brought up Heat. Heat doesn't have anything that entices me. Plus, I don't think Harden would fit in that "Heat Culture'. Especially if he has to pass that conditioning test lol

So i guess it’s just the usual big name teams that will be trying for harden ? The clippers offer of meh players and maybe one 1st I would think someone could beat if it’s just about getting the best return
