Re: 2023 Offseason Thread
This is a low - risk, high - reward scenario if Primo can turn into the type of player the Spurs envisioned. Feels like he's at best a Tre Mann - clone (which would've been disappointing in San Antonio, TBH), but that is only if he can unlock some playmaking and higher level ball handling skills.
He is a raw shot creator, though, yet I don't think that does much good on a team loaded with guys that provide that skill.
I hope whatever sexual deviancy he's dealing with has been dealt with through therapy. I also hope that the Clippers have contingency plans in place to deal with such a unique perversion (for pro sports).

Re: 2023 Offseason Thread
Wonder if Portland might look to flip Brogdon or Williams. Don't really have a need for either.
Also wonder if they might try to flip Brogdon to Clippers. Clippers wanted him before the injury concern stopped the trade.
But man, Celtics will be in Cap Hell next yearComment

Seems like a lot

Gonna see a lot of Tatum at the PF also, I would assume.
Does Philly make a move to try to keep up or rid themselves of Harden (before Media Day)?

Re: 2023 Offseason Thread
Crazy. I would've wanted at least one season of a rotation of Williams, Porzingis, and Horford before moving on. I get that Williams is injury prone too, but banking on Al/Kristaps being healthy all season is sketchy.

I don't see how they can keep up regardless. If Clippers opts for Brogdon, Philly I'd screwed with the Harden situation. No other team showed interest in Harden. And you're not getting anything of value for Tobias Harris either. So not expecting anything optimistic for PhillyComment

Re: 2023 Offseason Thread
They really need the Porzingis move to work now but a top 6 of White, Jrue, Brown, Tatum, Horford, Porzingis is absolutely loaded.Comment

I like the move for Boston. Be aggressive. It feels like they have been spinning in (a very good) place for like 5 years now. Swing for the fences! I'd love to see them grab Dwight on the cheap to bolster their front court.
Portland is building a solid looking team as well just off the Dame haul.

Re: 2023 Offseason Thread
They’ve been there the past couple years with a 36 year old Horford and injury prone Williams though. Not that your point isn’t true, just pointing out they were in that spot regardless.
Saw they added Gabriel, I don’t hate that as I’m a bit more fond of him than some, and they didn’t drop off much last year in minutes they played Kornet. You’d think they would want another big for potential meetings against Joel/Joker though.Comment

Re: 2023 Offseason Thread
Often times you wish an exiting player well, other times you genuinely mean it. I hope Rob find health and success going forward. Easy guy to root for.
Celtics needed an identity shake up and achieved just that. Credit to Brad for having the stomach to pull the trigger on the deals he made. Excited to see where the end result takes us.
