    This is my formula for stamina/punch output/minutes per round.

    Three minute rounds - zero output, 7 stamina
    Two minute rounds - 5 output, 6 stamina
    One minute rounds - 10 output, 5 stamina

    It's not full proof, but it's a good and balanced start.

      I'm going to leave my Champion and GOAT sliders alone for now. I honestly don't think there's justice for this game especially on goat. If you're looking for straight up boxing have fun. As for simulation, we'll have wait for FNR5.

        counter window doesnt turn tge window off cuz its still there(not matrix style) but thanks to the block meter finally going down, I cant just sit and counter punch...Counter punching takes skills with these(bob and weave, dodging punches)

        Punch % is down and you can notice it during the fight(wonder how it is early in legacy mode)

        Finishing a stunned fighter just became harder with the low stamina

        May change power but nee more testing....So far so good!

        Finally This Is Boxing
        in loving these sliders right now....

        I may lower Power and raise Output by one untill I get to 5 for both but other than that these sliders are hardcore....Had to start my legacy over(thanks to auto save ) I have a couple decision wins so far abd one was a spit...Got to fight smart with these a play to the boxers strenght(should be going for knock outs if you boxer aint a power guy) because if not you will lget knock out....Had a epic fight with Calaghe vs Roy(me) and I knocked him out late in the 9th(didnt attempt to get up) knocked him down twice in the whole fight....If it wasnt for the KO I prolli still would have one(cuz of my knockdown) but it was pretty close with him winning a couple rounds......

        Overall they add strategy for me because I box and pick my spots, switching stuff up so I wont get countered....Then once I got them stunned, thats when I try for the KO but at the same time I cant just stick mash becuz of my stamina(glad it doesnt stay full when you stun someone, it starts to deplete after a couple seconds) and getting punched with these sliders with low stamina is like being stunned, being stunned while having no stamina is death, you cant really block anymore lol so its some strategy to these sliders

          Sorry for bringing up this old post (search feature), but has the stance on the offensive/defensive awareness sliders changed now that counter window has its own slider?

          PS3'er here, anxiously awaiting the patch and DLC with new sliders...

            no, Def awr still effect counters the window slider just makes it bigger or smaller but it doest shut the feature off

            I have it at 0 and I'll say its there for about 1 sec

              Put it at zero. Even with 10 CPU DEF AWR it works great.

                When you adjust the new sliders have the punches per round been lower. I would like to do three minute rounds, but with the old sliders the PPR were above average on 2 minute rounds.

                  Had a great fight with Chambers(me) vs Toney...it went to the cards and I lost all three judges...I was knocked down 3 times(need to pratice my clinching skills) but we both won 5 rounds...I didnt knock him down at all(his D was top notch)

                  overall it was a very fun match...Hearing the 10 sec bell was so relieving knowing that it will only take one clean punch to score a KD...I really saw the difference in speed of the HW's vs the soeed of the Flyweights

                  my stamina was shot late in the fight thanks to all those body shots I took, Toney out boxed me and if it wasnt for the KD's he still would have won IMO

                      I have had the game since release and can pretty much win on Pro level at ease, but I throw 500-700 in 5 rounds and that is just unrealistic. I'm a casual player but I want sliders that will allow the Boxers to be as close to their real life counterparts. Is their a set that comes close to acheiving this?

                      Again I am just an average player, maybe even below average. I have not went higher than on Pro. Thanks for the feedback

                        Just had another fight go to the cards...it was an all out war between Mosley(me) vs Pac Man

                        no knockdowns at all and I won all three judges....

                        Had him stunned a number of times especially early in the fight but couldnt finish the job...Pac Mac had his moments as he stunned me aswell(getting better at clinching)

                        by the 9-10 round, Pac was just beat up, if I wasnt so fatigued I would have KOed or atleast scored a knock down...10th round Pac couldnt even defend my jabs...his overall speed changed drastically abd so did mine....Im going to stick with the set I have now cuz they work great for my skill level, if anyone try them and dont like the power, I suggest lowee power to 5 and raise output to 5

                          How many minutes do you play? I use this setup:

                          3 minutes - 7 stamina - 0 output
                          2 minutes - 6 stamina - 5 output
                          1 minute - 5 stamina - 10 output

                          You will get a decent fight out of this.

                            here is what i've been working with, the flow is pretty good despite the the games short comings.

                            Pro Difficulty 2 min rounds-
                            playing on pro you seem to be able to grab and move a little better. the AI moves backwards a lot more on pro as well, especially when he gets tagged with a heavy hook(not a counter).

                            Ref foul- 10

                            Ref awr- 10

                            Power- 10
                            -with punchpower maxed out it gives the normal punches a lot more pop and meaning. the counters are powered up a bit more, but because of the pro difficulty you can clintch a little easier and move away a bit better, you can also fight your way out of a stun situation using normal punches because they have more umph.
                            Speed- 4

                            Damage- 10

                            Toughness- 4(5 or 6 for 3 min rounds)
                            see stamina

                            Accuracy- 0

                            Stamina- 4(5 or 6 for 3 min rounds)
                            i put stamina and toughness up because of the duration of the fights. their stamina shouldn't drop so far and fast so early into the fight. with it here their stamina seems to decrease at a more realisitic rate.

                            Counter- 0

                            Off awr- 0
                            -with this maxed the AI seems to capitalize on every counter opportunity(or at least attempts to) so i keep it at 0 because the AI will pass on some counter oppotunities.

                            Def awr- 5

                            Punch output- 0


                            my fights have been so much more fun wit hthese settings. i feel the fight moves at a more realistic pace in regards to pressure and damage...... and having the punchpower maxed you now have to consider watching out for hooks,crosses and straights.
