    This wasn't really organized as a community wide effort, just kind of a discussion thread.

    I think I'm done tinkering with the sliders unless someone finds a way to decrease stamina. On 'Champion' difficulty I got it so the CPU throws a realistic amount of punches per round (30-60, in my last fight the CPU threw 71 in one of the rounds which was the most I've seen). The damage seems good on 70, I've seen flash K.D.'s, lots of stuns, but it's not ridiculous.

    The big thing for me was the CPU output of punches, because it was ridiculous the first couple of bouts I played out of the box, these sliders really saved the game for me. But with Punch Output on 20, Damage Taken on 70, Defensive Awareness on 100 and Speed on 80 it plays extremely well.

        Damage Taken as in Physical Damage, correct?

          These so far in many bouts force me to pick my spots, also despite toughness being up, I was still able to get/receive flash KD's, damage and power makes it so that you can get caugth with one clean shot and be in the stun stake(so this force me to box instead of slugging) but tougnhness counters it because now its not a KD/KO fest....Altho I dont know if having toughness up maxed will have the cpu getting up from every KD, but after my second KD using Cotto vs Pac Man, I couldnt get up.....I was also able to get inside without being flurried with punches(the cpu was sizing me uo just like I was)

          my % is low(im working my str8's, jabs and hooks...most of my connects are when I counter or get a clean shot inside) my D could improve more...

          someone test these for me pleeeeeaaase! but BEWARE especially against Tyson!
          Used Foreman against Frazier again with your settings. Frazier knocked me down in the 2nd and 6th, the latter resulting in a KO. I had stunned Frazier a minute before getting KOed. I connected on 52%, Frazier 55% with almost an identical # of connected punches (246-243).

            I tried your settings. I found some problems, but not critizing you.

            Punch rates were 58.4 per round for me, 76.8 for CPU.

            It was a Cesar Chavez/Hatton bout, Hatton took the fight. He won every round but 1.

            I think Physical Damage should be raised, since there were no facial damage in 10 rounds of a fight. Unrealistic.

            My stanima was DRAINED by the 10th round. That was nice to see, considering we both threw 54 haymakers and I had a low punch output. But he had alot, which wasn't correct.

            The fight was exciting though alot. Round stats looked even, except for the punch output by the CPU.

                  Not really a slide question, but is there any way to adjust the time in rounds? I want REALTIME 3 minutes, not the sped up 3 minutes where it's really more like 2 because of the fast clock.

                    Go to settings and change it from 2 to 3, then.

                      Hmm, maybe I did? I figured 10 was one click for everything. Guessing I was wrong?

                          Sliders have to be tweaked per difficulty setting. On Champion i found the computers defense to be top notch with only the speed slider raised 2 clicks. Punch output was between 50-60 per round for middle light heavy's both me and the computer, on default CPU punch Output.

                            Juke34man, just tried your sliders.

                            These would go well for someone who has G.O.A.T. talent.

                            But I was destroyed, never made it to the 4th round. Just not effective counter-punching yet.

                            What I liked is you HAVE to pick your shots, etc. Sometimes he hooked me through my block and rocked me. But they are VICIOUS once you are rocked.

                            I do think though, too much power in that set. I don't think three counter-punches would floor someone, unless hit with a haymaker or something.

                            Must admit though, was fun and VERY challenging.

                              Great thread ladies and gents. I'm so glad I've come across it because I played the demo again today and was not impressed. I know I was playing against my friend and he has a very offensive style, throwing a lot of punches, but the pace was far too quick, you couldn't 'box', and the big shots weren't doing much.

                              After a really good bout, he threw 350 punches (49%) and I threw 240 (73%).

                              Also, there seemed to be no point to outside fighting as you couldn't get outside quick enough, as i like to utilise the jab as my main weapon and set everything else up from there.

                              I honestly came home tonight not wanting to buy the game, but after seeing this thread, I'm going to go and get it tomorrow. It sounds like the boxers are throwing realistic numbers of punches, and you guys are developing some genuine fear against the CPU.

                              Me and my friend have played FNR2 and FNR3, and also UFC 2009. We love UFC so much because you have to pick your spots, and can't always be too aggressive. This is what seemed to be lacking in the FNR4 demo, but you guys have seemed to have at least minimised any problems.

                              I'll try to use some of your sliders or do my own, whatever, and let you know what I think

                                Don't understand why everbody wants to MAX out the SPEED. Default is fine and even playing at 3 out of 10 is feels brisk.
                                My connect % on G.O.A.T on Juk34man's and my own settings pretty much stay the same at 48%-52% for me and my opponent. My settings:

                                In two fights on jukman's settings I was Koed in the 6th and 3rd round by Frazier. On my settings Frazier Koed me in the final round. He had a total of 3 knockdowns to 0 for me. I led 85-84 on all three judges scorecards going into the 10th round.
