I want changes, ive made that clear and have tried to make suggestions, but i dont want head movement to be crushed by a nerf when that totally isn't necessary.

The head movement has never been the main issue. The main issue is not being able to dictate range and being forced into a dice roll fight. The sways are OP in some ways also... like with stationary head movement.... but they're not the primary issue.

Just so you're aware though... You're often rocking him because you're catching him at the right time in his head movement pattern. So this video is still of the same concept of sway and pray to me.

I don't want head movement to be useless or anything. Trust me. I just want to see more advanced fights and gameplay that strays away from this dice roll. Or at least having the option to not be forced into this playstyle.

Fights at the top do have some outside fighting too if both players want to play that way. But the fight is 95% of the time (no exaggeration) won by hooks/uppers on the inside (even if they occasionally throw a few straight punches).

I know why im rocking him.. And this is the exact reason my style ISNT sway and pray. Because im not swaying and praying, im countering his sway. I am punishing him for attempting to sway and pray.

Not something I typically do and most likely won't do again; I posted MM's post in the original post of RetractedMonkey's; I should've asked you first, sorry. I figured both of those posts were damn good and needed to be seen so they're the first thing seen when entering this thread for the first time since it's now three threads merged together.

I guess. We're all lying to ourselves if we're going to act like there's much strategy or reads being made in these fights though (things are currently too chaotic because there is never any distance between the fighters). And even if there are.. our opponents could stick with a pattern of duck/upper twice and then switch it up to sway/hooks so they catch us trying to punish their ducking. Or they might not and go with duck/upper again. Then they'd be geniuses or something, right? Nah. They'd be lucky.

Outside fighting and being able to dictate distance would increase the variables so much more.

Good work. It should be helpful for new readers.

I really hope the things discussed in these threads make into the patch.

Footwork really needs to be the priority in terms of defense. It should go footwork > block > slip.

But right now it's slip > block > footwork.
