My biggest fear with this game, being a person who trains in bjj and muay thai MMA basically being my life....

getting my *** handed to me repeatedly on xbox live by a 10 year old with a screachy *** voice who will taunt my "newbness" endlessley hahaha.

hahahaha as long as i dont lose to a kid...my ego can't take it LOL!!! I played halo with my little cousin and his friends, and while i never really played i expected to run the table on them cause 1) there young and 2) i consider myself a decent gamer.

end of the night they where calling me canon fodder lol.

Just moved up to Advanced playing as Hua. This feels the most realistic to me thus far. I really have to pick my spots and can't go nuts throwing head kicks or Chuck will fly in with a superman punch and knock me senseless. My takedown defense sucks way too much right now to play as chuck on Advanced though. Hopefully I'll get there soon...

Man, this game is going to have so much depth. Every fight is different. I think I may have to move up as well. I just beat Chuck by basically holding him on the ground the whole fight. It was a lot of work, but probably never should happen. The judges do give points for dominant positions, which is nice. I never really threw anything of significance, but I stayed in a dominant position the whole fight.

30-24, 30-24, 30-24.. Chuck had 0 stamina and could not tap him the entire fight.. ridiculous. You could not even tell what color his leg is supposed to be from how many leg kicks he took, yet I couldn't even submit him with a leg lock...

I love this game, been playing against my brother and all of our fights have lasted 2-3 rounds. The facial damage in this game is awesome, my brother caught me square on the nose and I could've swore he broke my nose (it was swollen and blood started coming out.) I love the fact that every fight feels different and you could definitely tell each fighters weaknesses. Oh I can't wait for the O.S league.

Everyone should see 1:20 and 3:05 even if you've got the demo already.

1:20 was insane! lol.

My buddy knocked me out in that same situation at 3:05 except, incredibly, the knee knocked me and sent me backwards. Think about that, I was shooting in for a takedown, and he kneed me in the face and I ended up out cold on my back. Ouch.

Just had my first fight. I got a TKO against Chuck with 12 seconds left in the fight. I kept kicking him in the ribs the whole match and it ****ed him up. Eventually he dropped to the ground and I finished him off.

This game looks insane. I'm surprised just how deep the tutorial is. It will be a while before I get everything down, but I can tell already that I will be playing this a lot.

One big question that I have - can wrestlers perform submissions? I don't want to create a wrestler like Sakuraba or Genki Sudo, but end up only being able to GnP.

Everybody can perform submission, it's just the fighting style that gives them some unique submissions. Chuck can do the basic submissions fine and he's Kickboxing/Wrestling. Armbar, Kimura, Leglock, Rear Naked Choke, Guillotine, few others. Rua gets the rubber guard which can lead to a triangle choke, and I'm sure he has a bunch of other subs since he's BJJ.
