I know they will, but it's not like I can control it and make the player go. He was hoping his created recruit would leave OSU. I know in the legacy Beast10 is running he has players transfer all the time, but I honestly don't know how he is doing it, because in the year's of playing I will maybe get a 1 transfer in a 5 year span to actually want to come to my team

Re: Following in the footsteps of a Legend (CH2k8)
YOUNGBLOOD CONTINUES TO SHINE AS BUFF'S MOVE TO 8-0!!
When TJ Youngblood announced he was choosing Colorado over Oregon State people where shocked. Why pick a Big 12 school who hadn't finished better then 4th place in their conference over a Pac-10 school that was coming off back to back National Titles. Youngblood's answer was simple, he wanted to be responsible for building something rather then just feed off someone's else's success.
Well after a 8-0 start at his career in Colorado, Youngblood is currently leading the nation in votes for National FOY and is currently 3rd in votes for the NCAA POY.
Here is a look back at the the past 3 games and what Youngblood has done.
Air Force (Won 81-55)
Youngblood went out and scored a career high 30 points hitting 8/10 FG, 4/5 3pt and 10/11 FT. He also grabbed a team high 11 rebs finishing with this 3rd double double of the season.
TJ however wasn't just 1 man show in the win, as fellow Freshman P. Ridnour added 13 pts and 7 reb and J. Bauer had 11 pts depsite hitting just 1/6 from downtown. SR H Rodgers also stepped up in a big way grabbing 10 rebs and blocking a team high 4 shots.
Utah (Won 95-55)
Youngblood would post his 3rd straight double double and 4th of the year as he leads the team with 28 points and 10 rebs, hitting 11/18 from the floor (3/8 from 3pt) and 3/6 from the line. He also had 4 assists.
P. Ridnour joined YB in the 20 point club as he posts a career high 20 points hitting 10/11 FT's.
JR J. Mallory came off the bench and scored a career high 16 points hitting 4/7 from downtown, well well FR Spanky Krager also has a career high 10 pts hitting 2/4 from 3pt.
As a team CU was 12/30 from 3pt and 21/30 from the line. Utah didn't have a single player score in double digits.
Coloraod State (Won 90-63)
Coach Deuce moves to 7-1 in his career vs Colorado State (4-1 well at NC and 2-0 well at OSU).
Youngblood's double double streak was snapped as he finishes with a team high 22 points (7/15 FG, 3/5 3pt, 5/5 FT) but manages just 6 rebs and 6 assists and 3 steals.
Fellow Freshman P. Ridnour just misses out on back to back games with 20, as he finishes with 19 pts and J. Bauer adds 17 pts hitting 3/5 from 3pt.
J. Mallory stepped up off the bench for the 2nd straight game with 10 pts (2/5 3pt) and matched Youngblood for a team high 6 rebs.

Re: Following in the footsteps of a Legend (CH2k8)
BOARD MEMBER NOVEMBER RECAP!
With the month of November in the books, here is a look at how some of the best Freshman in the country are playing...
TJ Youngblood (Deuce2223)
Youngblood is currently 3rd in the nation in scoring at 25.5 PPG shooting 51% from 3pt (25/49) and finishes the month averaging a double double with 10.4 RPG. He also leads his team in assists 4.0 APG and is tied for the lead in steals 1.5 SPG.
Well Youngblood's #'s have been impressive, there is one downside as the current NBA buzz as TJ projected as a 1st Round Pick.
Jackson Freeman-80 Overall (Southernmedalhead)
Freeman might not be putting up 20+ points a game, but the Freshman is having a solid season so far. The Gators are 7-1 and currently #13 in the country and Freeman is a big reason why.
He is 2nd in scoring (13.5 PPG) and 2nd in assists (3.4 APG) well leading the team in steals (1.8 SPG), starting all 8 games. He is shooting 47% from the field and 46% from 3pt (21/46).
Freeman is currently creating a Dark Horse Buzz around NBA Scouts.
Kendall Jenkins-78 Overall (Beast10)
UNLV is currently #17 in the Top-25 Media Poll after a 9-1 start, however Kendall Jenkins has not been a huge part of that success. In Game 1 of the season, Jenkins made his debut scoring 10 points but went down in the 2nd half with a broken wrist. He is projected to miss the next 8 games as well.
Rex Robinson-80 Overall (Vicebeliever42)
Oregon has started out just 2-3, but don't blame Robinson last year's #1 Recruit.
Robinson is currently leading the Ducks in scoring (16.6 PPG) well also grabbing 3.4 RPG. He is shooting 42% from the field, 17/33 from 3pt and has hit 14/21 from the line starting all 5 games played.
Because of Robinson's play, most NBA scouts currently project him as a lottery pick in this year's draft.
However fellow Freshman N. Hughes has not done so well. Despite leading the team in APG (3.4), Hughes is averaging just 3.4 PPG and is just 1/11 from 3pt.
Trayvonn Damon-75 Overall/95 3pt (Wonzer21)
Well OSU is off to a 5-2 start without Coach Deuce and currently #24 in the Top-25 Media Poll, Damon has not been a part of that success. It's unclear of the Freshman is actually redshirting this season, as he has yet to appear in a game.
Rumors are Damon would like to transfer but it's unclear if that will happen and if so what school he would land at.Comment

Re: Following in the footsteps of a Legend (CH2k8)
PERFECT NO MORE!!
Colorado led at the half (48-41) with TJ Youngblood scoring 15 points including a perfect 3/3 from downtown, but in the 2nd half the Trojans switched up defense and put 7'0 SO PF D. Thibodeaux (former 5*) on Youngblood to shut down the star and it worked.
Youngblood would manage just 6 points in the 2nd half and the rest of the team didn't do much better scoring just 28 points as USC hands CU their first loss of the season.
FINAL SCORE USC-82 CU-76
Youngblood finished the game with a team high 9 rebs and team high 4 assist but shot 0/5 from 3pt in the 2nd half and finished 8/16 from the field.
Fellow FR D. Torres did manage to breakout and had a career best 15 pts (3/5 3pt) and J. Mallory continues his strong play from the bench with his 3rd straight game in double digits (12 2/2 3pt), but the rest of the squad was 0/9 from 3pt and Rodgers and Ridnour combined for just 7 points in the post.
6'10 SO Center J. Claudino (Pac-10 FOY last year) led the Trojans with a double double of 17 pts and 11 reb, well FR J. Gibson (5* AA #16 Overall) scored 15 points off the bench hitting 3/4 from downtown.
Coach Deuce"We knew going in USC was going to be tough. They had the #1 class 2 years ago and it shows as 4 of those guy's are now Soph's and are in the starting lineup. All we can do now is get back in the gym and prepare for Florida next week."Comment

Re: Following in the footsteps of a Legend (CH2k8)
Well you named probably the best 3, but they have also had Matt Bullard who has had a pretty decent NBA career and more recently Alec Burks (2011 1st Round pick with the Jazz) and they had a guy by the name of Cory Higgins who actually is one of the schools leading career scorers with 2000 points.
It is my hope to put Youngblood in the record books at CUComment

Re: Following in the footsteps of a Legend (CH2k8)
It's been fun. Originally my thought was to try and run pretty much my entire offense through TJ, but now I find myself really trying for triple doubles. However it does seem like most of the time when he makes a great pass into the post, Rodgers or Ridnour ends up getting fouled and goes to and shoots free throws ruining my chance at assists.
I knew the USC game was going to be tough, they are rated 10 points higher then my team and their entire starting 5 plus top 3 guy's off the bench are 5* All-Americans.
It is fun winning, but loss's like that are pretty realistic when the team has that much more talent. All my other competition until then were within 2-3 points overall on rating so I wasn't completely shocked when I found myself winning.
Oh and Jenkins should be healthy by the time I play UNLV, so should make for a good matchup of Youngblood vs Jenkins.Comment

I'm not on OS for a day and next thing I know you leave after 2 straight National Title's to go to Colorado and get your 5* created player haha!
Congrats and good luck at Colorado!Comment

Re: Following in the footsteps of a Legend (CH2k8)
Lucky for me I have 2 great recruits almost to 100% interest and have Colorado #1 on their list of schools, only issue is deciding which one because I only have 1 scholarship.
By the way my Mom lives out of town, and my mother-inlaw is sick, so for those following after spending sometime with your moms or at least calling them to tell them how much you love them. Feel free to stop by the thread and read a update or 2.Comment

YOUNGBLOOD VS JACKSON
#15 (8-2)
The anticipated matchup of TJ Youngblood vs Jackson Freeman 2 of the top freshman in the country lived up to the hype everyone thought it would.
Despite playing with a sprained wrist in his non-shooting hand, Youngblood led all scorers with 11 pts in the 1st half to give Colorado the lead , but Freeman did his best to keep it close hitting a 3pt with 2.2 seconds left to make it (48-44) as he finished with 9 points.
In the 2nd half Colorado would open up scoring 12 straight and lead by as many as 20, but with a 17-0 run the Gators it was (97-94) with less then 40 seconds to play. After a CU bucket made it (99-94) and a UF miss, the Gators were forced to foul as Colorado went to the line 3 straight trips taking a (106-94) lead. After a made 3 pointer by Freeman to make it (106-97), Youngblood answers back with his own "3' to make it (109-97) with less then 8 seconds well Jackson answers with another bucket at the buzzer just inside the arc.
FINAL SCORE COLORADO-109 FLORIDA-99
TJ Youngblood despite playing with a sprained wrist in his non-shooting hand led all scorers with 24 pts (8/20 4/8 3pt 4/5 FT) but managed just 4 rebs 3 assists and 2 steals, well turning over the ball a team high 5 times.
Jackson Freeman came close to matching Youngblood as the fellow star freshman had 23 pts on 8/14 FG 5/7 3pt 2/2 FT to lead the Gators.
Joining YB in double digits were P. Ridnour with 17 points and a team high 9 rebs, J. Baur who finished with 19 hitting 3/6 from deep and H. Rodgers who finished with 12 and 6.

Re: Following in the footsteps of a Legend (CH2k8)
COACH DEUCE GOING ALL IN!!
So what do you do when you only have 1 scholarship and the #1 player in the country plays just 15 miles down the road from your school well the #4 in the country plays just minutes away in your hometown?
That is the question that presented itself to Coach Deuce and the Colorado Buffalo coaching staff this season.
6'5 Ali Lathum plays in Longmount Colorado where he was named the states Mr BB, a 5* All-American and the best SG in the nation after putting 18.3 PPG, 10.8 RPG, 4.1 APG, 1.6 SPG and 1.1 BPG well shooting 25/49 from 3pt (51%) this past summer in the ABL. Those #'s made this year's #1 Overall player in the country
6'7 David Lindman is a Boulder native who like Lathum is a 5* All-American and the best player at his SF position. Like Lathum, Lindman put up solid #'s across the board averaging 12.3 PPG, 8.6 RPG, 4.8 APG, 2.9 SPG and 2.1 BPG well shooting 41% from 3pt.(12/39) which made him the #4 Overall player in the country.
Despite Lindman from Day 1 saying he wanted to be Buffalo with 100% commitment, Coach Deuce and his staff made the difficult choice and offered their only scholarship to Lathum who well having Colorado #1 on his Top-5 list of schools, has refused to sign early and is only at 95% sure he wants to play in Colorado next season.
With Lindman's 100% commitment to Colorado, it appears all other schools have backed off not offering the 5* a single scholarship. Well Lathum currently has offers from Vanderbilt and Oregon State who are currently #3 and #4 behind Texas who has yet to offer.
Coach Deuce"It was a tough decision on what to do. Any other year Lindman would be a perfect player to add to our roster, especially if Youngblood does in deed become a 1 and done, but in my 9 years of recruiting I have never landed the #1 Overall player in the country and when the stars align and that said player is the states Mr BB, it becomes a situation where we felt like we had to go all in. I honestly have no clue to why Lathum wouldn't give us his 100% commitment or why he would have Texas without a scholarship #2 well Vanderbilt and Oregon State are 3/4, but that's his choice. For now all we can do is keep in contact and hope by seasons end he has made up his mind."Comment

Re: Following in the footsteps of a Legend (CH2k8)
YOUNGBLOOD STRUGGLES
Still battling a sprained wrist, TJ Youngblood was held to just 7 points int the 1st half vs the Oregon Ducks, but Colorado still went into the locker room with the (45-42) lead as 7'2 walkon Victor Curtis steps up with a huge game scoring 14 pts and grabbing 5 rebs to be named "Player of the Half"
Well Youngblood struggled his counter part 5* AA #1 Rex Robinson did his best to lead the Ducks in their V formation. Robinson had a team high 8 points and a team high 4 steals in the 1st half.
In the 2nd half neither team would take more then a 4 point lead at anytime throughout until the final 1:31 when Oregon looked to seal the victory building a 8 point lead.
Colorado however was ready to give up. Youngblood would hit a "3" (1 of only 2 in the game) to cut it within 5 and then a steal by Ridnour made it a 3 point game, but the Buff's would go 0/3 from beyond the arc in the final minute as Oregon hands Coach Deuce his first loss against the school.
FINAL SCORE OREGON-86 COLORADO-83
Rex Robinson was named POG as he scores ties O. Baker with a team high 17 pts on (4/10 FG, 2/4 3pt 7/9 FT) well also adding 4 rebs 3 assists and the 4 steals.
Baker had 9 rebs to go with his 17. SR SG R. Frank added 16, well Hughes finished with 4 points to go with a team high 6 assists.
Youngblood led Colorado in the loss with 21 points 8 reb and 4 assist but was just 2/10 from 3pt and 8/19 from the floor.
V. Curtis had just 6 points in the 2nd half as he finished with a career high 20 pts and 7 reb.
As a team Colorado was just 7/28 from 3pt, well Oregon was 7/14.
Coach Deuce"All those missed 3's really hurt the flow of our offense and was obviously a key reason why we loss. All we can do now is shake it off because we have 1 of our toughest games yet next week
Colorado now (9-2) travels to Corvallis Oregon to take on Coach Deuce's former team. The Beavers are have fallen on tough times since the Coach left as they will come into the game (8-4) with losses at UC Santa Barbara, San Francisco and Texas as well as a home loss in OT to BYU (86-83).Comment
