I am sad that being from St Paul Minnesota, that the Gophers are not my #1 team.

Well, being that my guy is from Pittsburgh, I am surprised PSU wasn't on the list. Glad it wasn't.

Of the 3, I would have to say I like the Top 2(texas and OSU-just to beat PSU). I am not a huge ND fan, but they aren't bad.

I played the ECU game last night, and it was NOT easy. Most of you guys are in the Top 3 with the "big-time" schools.

Maybe because they only allow "South" St. Paul in the game. I'm not sure why they do that. The Gophers are #8 on your list, I'm going to give it a shot to try to get you.

ND seems to be in on like every player as well as Alabama and Ohio State.

Well if I can't stay home and play for the Gophers, then I hope I can go to USC for the sun and the girls or OSU so I play you every year.

            Week 1 - @ ECU

            Sloppy Game, Gophers' Hill Stars

Marquise Hill (#2) leaps into the endzone for one of his two touchdowns.

Greenville, North Carolina - This is not the same team that the Gophers won the National Championship last year, and that is very apparent, but the Gophers did win in large part to Marquise Hill who had 6 receptions 195 yards with two touchdowns. Aaron Lester was okay for the Gophers, but was horribly inaccurate going for 16-55, 404 yards with 3 touchdowns and 4 interceptions. There was a combined 8 turnovers this game, so just a really sloppy game. Dan Orseske also starred in hitting 6 FG's with the longest one being 51 yards. On other side for the Pirates, B Wornick went 34-56 for 536 yards and 5 touchdowns with no interceptions. He was aM really good player this game.

Coach Kill's Comments - "We won, but I was not happy with the amount of points we gave up, the inaccuracy of Aaron, and the whole team's play. We can't play like this and think that we will win most of our games. 5 turnovers is unacceptable. We will work hard this week with Aaron."

Turning Point - Marquise Hill's second touchdown really put the game out of reach for the Pirates. He had an incredible game. He will have to continue to play well if there's any hope for this season.

Lester was so inaccurate though, he sailed so many throws. 12-55 is not good. I'm considering benching him. I think I just have to throw different throws because almost my whole offense graduated or left early.

I'm up to 4th on Bryan Scott's list with USC still leading the way.

I'll update once people start signing.

I really really wish my guy wouldn't have gone to OSU. Being 4th on the depth chart isn't too bad for starters and I have a really good shot at winning a National Title before he's gone.

                        Week 2 - vs. Army

                        Gophers' Edwards With Monster Day

LaMonte Edwards (#28) with one of his eight touchdowns on the day.

Minneapolis, MN - The Gophers won this game throw the legs of LaMonte Edwards where he ran for 259 yards on 31 carries, but most impressively, 8 rushing touchdowns. Needless to say, this game was just a warm-up to what was upcoming for the Gophers in that the Alabama Crimson Tide will be be coming to TCF Bank Stadium to take on the #3 rated Gophers.

Coach Kill's Comments - "Not much to say about today's game other than the fact that we got some much needed confidence in going into the Alabama game. We will have to play well if we want to win. Aaron will continue to be our guy, and we're confident in him."

Turning Point - Basically Edwards manhandling the Army defense all day.
