Thornton was a big get for a few reasons. One, 78-OVR freshman offensive linemen don't grow on trees. Two, he's an ideal build for offensive guard in a spread attack at 6'4" 286 lbs. Three, Coach Bohl continues to lock down the state of Utah--Wyoming beat off...wait, let me rephrase that...Wyoming topped Utah, Arizona State, and Nevada for the North Salt Lake product. Thornton has some really nice attributes for the position (85 STR, 90 ACC, 83 PBK, 83 RBK).
Singleton, a 5'11" 185-lb prospect from Colorado, was extra nice to pull right out from under the nose of rival Colorado State. He'll help ease the pain of losing sophomore All-American Noah Myers after he goes pro. Singleton isn't a physical monster, but has plenty of athleticism to excel at safety. And he's likely to lay some serious lumber (81 HPW).
McCoy might be the most intriguing of all three. Recruited as a LB, the 6'7" 236-pounder doesn't really fit any profile perfectly, but has the size of a hybrid DE/LB. And the ratings to match (80 SPD, 80 STR, 80 ACC, 86 TAK, 79 HPW, 79 HPW, 74 BSH). A Nebraska-native, the Pokes overcame a Kansas scholarship offer to land McCoy.
Although Wyoming's offense is doing just fine this season under the auspices of Scott Frost's spread offensive scheme, Coach Bohl can't help himself when it comes to recruiting massive man-planets for the offensive line. His latest prize is an interesting JUCO (Soph) from Alaska of all places.

Big Matt Moore, a 3* JUCO #90 OT, was offered by Air Force Academy of all places. Nah. This 6'7" 350-pounder is playing for me. As one might imagine, Moore is more of a run block type (81 RBK, 83 STR, 86 ACC) than a pass blocker (67 PBK, 56 SPD, 61 AGI). He may have to redshirt to ease his transition to the lower 48. It's for the best; it'll allow him to get his weight up a bit.
