good lawd 15 5*. TTU going to be churning out Heisman winners and All Americans for years.

Looks like all of the winning is finally showing in recruiting as well, getting a ton of guys from outside of the "Texas" area. Do you have assistant coaches with pipelines on the east coast that's helping that, or just increase in overall recruiting rankings?

OC's Pipeline is Alabama and DC's is Colorado, well Coach Scott is PNW as far as Pipelines go. Right now TTU is a 4 1/2 Star. Obviously a A+ in Championship Contender, Brand Exposure, Coach Prestige and the Big 12 Conference is a A+ as well.. Program Tradition is a A, Stadium Atmosphere is a A-, with the class's I am landing, I am not doing a very good job with training/improving them, because my Pro Potential is still only a B+ and for some reason despite the fact I am on Year 5, any my DC is on year 5, Coach Stability is a B.

Lubbock must suck because Campus Lifestyle is a C and Academic Prestige is a C-

TECH MAKES IT 7 IN A ROW!!

After starting the year (2-2) Texas Tech has now won 7 straight including a perfect 6-0 in Big 12 play as Coach Scott improves to 4-1 against the Longhorns winning his 4th straight as the Chancellor's Spurs will be in Lubbock for another season.

        GAME RECAP

Despite several poor seasons in a row, the DKR Memorial Stadium still rank's among the Top-10 (#9) in toughest places to play in college football and it showed in the 1st Quarter as INT's continue to plague Vildor this season (2 more) but TTU still manages to take a (7-0) lead as Freddie shakes off the early turnovers to hit Brian Head on a 63 yd scoring bomb.

The Red Raiders would extend the lead to (21-0) with 3 minutes to play in the half as Vildor and JJ Roberts both add rushing touchdowns, and TTU makes it (28-0) after a their 5th forced punt of the game as Vildor hits Rico Hatfield on a 19 yd strike to make it (28-0).

The TTU "D" steps up once again despite less then a minute to play forcing a quick 3 and out as Coach Scott calls a timeout forcing the punt with 27 seconds left, and despite the 4 score lead, Scott and Vildor go back to the air as Vildor and Head hookup for TD #2 to make it (35-0) at the half.

        Scott
"I am sure some will question the decision but they don't call this a rivalry game for nothing. Also despite the 2 earlier INT's the 4 score lead had done a pretty good job of shutting up the hostile crowd, so I thought why not"
Texas opened up the 2nd half and quickly put their 1st points of the day on the scoreboard as RS SO Cole Van Lanen (79 ovr) subbing in for SR Melvin Donnerson (82 ovr) at QB hits SR WR George Baccellia (86 ovr) on a 70 yd bomb to make it (35-7).

Then it was the Longhorn D stepping up forcing 3 straight punts, adding a 33 yd FG to cut the lead to (35-10) as TTU's offense is shutdown after scoring 4 TD's in the 2nd Quarter.

Both Defense's continued to play well through the rest of the 3rd as the score remained (35-10) as we head to the 4th and in the 4th it was actually the TTU "D" stepping up providing the only points of the half as DE Kevin Zuber forces a fumble well SR MLB Christian Cormeir picks up the lose ball and takes it 31 yds for the score.

        FINAL SCORE TEXAS TECH-42 TEXAS-10

        KEY PLAYERS

        QB F. Vildor-286 yds 3 TD 2 INT, 50 yds rushing 1 TD
RB JJ Roberts-25 carries 159 yds 1 TD
        RB S Byham-7 carries 56 yds
        WR B. Head-6 rec 154 yds 2 TD
        WR R. Hatfield-5 rec 59 yds 1 TD
        WR F. Addison-4 rec 54 yds
        TE R. Barbosa-1 rec 23 yds

WEEK 12 AROUND THE NATION UPDATE

With just 2 weeks left in the regular season and for some teams just 1 game left on the schedule every last win and chance to impress counts as teams via for a chance a spot at one of the 12 spots in the playoffs.

#1 Ohio State survived the upset beating Rutgers (14-12) to move to 9-1. They will play @ Syracuse in Week 12.

#3 Auburn also moves to (9-1) with a (34-31) win over Arkansas. The Tigers will travel to Missouri in Week 12

#8 Miami beat #4 Florida (23-14) in Week 11 jumping 4 spots to take the Gators #4 spot in the rankings, well Florida drops to #11 with their 3rd loss of the year.

#5 Michigan beats instate rival Michigan State (38-22) to move to 8-2 Overall. The Wolverines will take on Central Michigan in Week 12

#6 Boise State picked up their 5th straight win beating Washington (24-22) to remain at #6 this week despite 3 loss's, but the Broncos will need the Huskies help if they are going to win the Pac-12 North as Oregon will travel to Seattle in Week 12 as BSU prepares for Oregon State in Corvallis.

#7 Alabama was on a "Bye" in Week 11. They will play @ Louisiana in Week 12.

#9 Oregon (losers in Week 10 to BSU) drop their 2nd straight game falling to Washington State (21-17) and drop completely out of the polls as they are now (7-4) on the season.

Kentucky moves up 3 spots from #11 to #8 as they beat Purdue (42-17) to stay a perfect 10-0. The Wildcats will play @ Indiana in Week 12.

#10 Maryland moves up 1 spot to #9 with a (27-8) win over Marshall. The Terps will host Boston College in Week 12.

#13 USC also is gone from the poll's as the Trojans drop their 4th game of he season losing (30-27) to Stanford. USC is just (2-4) in Pac-12 play after going a perfect 4-0 in non-conference play including wins over #5 Michigan and #15 Notre Dame.

#16 Penn State jumps 6 spots to #10 with a (59-28) win over UConn. The Nittany Lions will have a "Bye" in Week 12.

Bowling Green drops from #15 to #24 with a (23-19) loss to Toledo.

          CURRENT PLAYOFF PROJECTIONS

Current projections have #1 Ohio State falling to Michigan in the Big Ten Championship, opening the door for Texas Tech to claim the #1 seed. the CPU then has Michigan #2, Alabama (winning the SEC) and staying perfect at #3, with Kentucky also winning out and grabbing the #4 seed.

With Ohio State taking the #5 seed, they will play UTSA who lost their first game of the season in Week 10 but with a strong finish winning the American can be 11-1 and secure their first ever playoff game, with the winner taking on Kentucky.

They have Maryland winning the ACC and playing BSU winning the Pac-12 in the #8/#9 game with the winner taking on Texas Tech

They have Florida, Auburn and Miami all making the playoffs despite not winning the SEC, with Auburn and Florida facing each other in the 6/11 game for a chance at a Alabama rematch

Penn State despite not playing in the Big Ten Championship makes it as a #10 seed and will play Miami for a chance at Michigan

            4TH QUARTER BLOWOUT

Oklahoma State just 2 weeks ago was knocking on the door to the Top-10 ranked #12 but a Week 11 loss to Baylor (17-10) sent the Cowboy's packing as they fell to #20.

            GAME RECAP

Oklahoma State started with the ball and quickly scored as SR QB Peter Gibbs (85 ovr) finds his big TE Matt Landry (80 ovr) on a 25 yd strike to make it (7-0) but then it was all Texas Tech as the Red Raiders score 21 unanswered to close out the 1st half with the lead (21-7) despite Freddie Vildor throwing 2 more INT's.

OSU would do a solid job in the 3rd holding TTU to a 31 yd FG to open the half and then matching the 3 points with a FG of their own to make it (24-10) but that's as close as they would get, as the TTU "D" steps up forcing 8 punts on the day well holding the Cowboy's to just 117 yds of Total Offense as they sack Gibbs 8 times on the day.

The TTU "D" wasn't the only one playing at a high level though as the Offense comes out matching their earlier 24 points by scoring 24 points in the 4th Quarter alone as Vildor throws 2 more TD's including a 52 yd bomb to Brian Head with just over a minute to play.. TTU then closes out the game with a 41 yd FG with 3 seconds on the clock as Coach Scott gives Doug Khaled another FG opportunity.

            FINAL SCORE TTU-48 OSU-10

            KEY PLAYERS

            QB F. Vildor-23/30 (76%) 369 yds 5 TD 2 INT, 16 yds rushing
RB JJ Roberts-16 carries 108 yds 1 TD
            RB S. Byham-5 carries 78 yds
            WR B. Head-5 rec 126 yds 2 TD
            WR R. Hatfield-7 rec 114 yds 2 TD
            WR F. Addison-4 rec 75 yds
            TE R Barbosa-5 rec 40 yds 1 TD

            INJURY REPORT UPDATE

With SR DE Thad Leon already out for the year, JR DE Kevin Zuber is joining him as he left the game with a Broken Tailbone. He is expected to miss the next 12 weeks. Zuber filling in for Leon as the teams starter had 7.5 sacks this season after posting 10.0 last year as a reserve.

The TTU Secondary took a big hit as they lose starting JR SS Ben Martini.. The former RB had 53 Tackles and 2 INT last season and had already posted 46 Tackles (31 solo) this year. He is also expected to miss the rest of the year with a Dislocated Elbow.

RS FR CB Teddy Beckford will miss the regular season finale as well as the Big 12 Championship with a Dislocated Ankle but he should be good to go for the playoffs. In his absence JR Jordan Bias and SR Benjamin Ricks have been filling in. Ricks is expected to get the start against Baylor for Senior Day well Bias will most likely start the Big 12 title game.

            UP NEXT

TTU will put it's 8 game winning streak and perfect 7-0 Big 12 record on the line in Week 13 vs Baylor as TTU celebrates "Senior Day" as Red Raider fan's say goodbye to Texas Tech's first ever #1 Ranked Recruiting Class with 17 Seniors (2 on IR) play their last game at Jones AT&T.

For Baylor it's been a interesting season. They started out (1-3) with loss's to Washington, Duke and Oregon, but then went on to knock off Nebraska well the Cornhuskers were ranked #1, as well as K-State and Oklahoma State well both teams were ranked in the Top-15. They also have wins over Texas A&M and Houston making them (5-2) in Big 12 play but they are coming off a (37-34) loss at home vs Texas in Week 12.

              RED RAIDER "D" DOMINATES

Today was Senior Day as TTU honors it's 17 Seniors before the game, with Defensive Captain Thad Leon and backup Kevin Zuber joining him, SR Brian Guillermo joined the other captains on the field for the coin toss, as the former 4* from Clovis New Mexico was making his first career start.

Guillermo wasn't the only Red Raider Senior getting their first start, as former 3* CB Benjamin Ricks and former 3* QB Jeremy Heredia joined him.

              GAME RECAP

The game featured not a single turnover from either team, but Texas Tech's Defense made it self present as they hold the Baylor Bear Offense to just 173 yds of Offense with just 106 yds through the air as JR QB Sateki Vakapuna (78) finishes the day just 9/26 (34%) well being sacked 5 times including 1 by Gulliermo.

Leading just (3-0) at the end of the 1st, TTU continued to give SR PK Doug Khaled plenty of opportunities as the he drills 2/3 FG attempts in the 2nd Quarter to put TTU up (9-0) and then with less then a minute to play Texas Tech extended the lead to (16-0) as RB Sean Byham caps off a 9 play drive with a 5 yd TD run.

The Red Raiders would extend the lead to (23-0) on the open play of the 2nd half as Heredia continues to lead the offense hooking up with "King" Felix Addison for the first of 2 touchdowns on the day...

Leading (26-0) after another Khaled FG, Heredia and Addison would hook up with for a 2nd time to extend the lead to (33-0) early in the 4th.

Baylor finally broke the shutout midway through the 4th as they kick a 44 yd FG to make it (33-3) but JJ Roberts closes out the game with his 3rd straight game with a rushing TD after taking over for Morton.

              FINAL SCORE TEXAS TECH-40 BAYLOR-3

              KEY PLAYERS

              QB J. Heredia-22/31 (70%) 231 yds 2 TD, 25 yds rushing
              RB J. Robert-15 carries 55 yds 1 TD
              RB S. Byham-8 carries 24 yds 1 TD, 4 rec 16 yds
              WR B. Head-7 rec 94 yds
              WR F. Addison-4 rec 55 yds 2 TD
              WR R. Hatfield-2 rec 36 yds
              TE R. Barbosa-3 rec 23 yds

              IMPACT FROM THE GAME

With the win, TTU has secured it's 4th straight Big 12 Stars Division Title finishing the year (9-2) well still ranked #2. They will play #10 (9-3) Kansas State who won the Stripes Division with a (38-24) win over Houston in Week 13.

The Red Raiders and Wildcats did not meet during the regular season this year.

Wildcats usually have a top tier offense. But I think your defense is more than up to the task. As long as Vildor doesn't get bit by the interception bug you should be looking at yet another Big 12 Tite

That's the plan. K-State somehow has stayed a pretty solid National power over the course of this 9 year dynasty so far. Even with a loss, I am still in the playoffs, just not a Top-4 seed so we will see..

At the beginning of the year when I was sitting 2-2 I would've said I had like a 50% chance at making a run at another Natty, but honestly with the way the Defense has been playing, I feel pretty good about my chances.. I am excited to see what underclassman potentially go Pro. I simmed out once just to see before Morton got hurt both him and Robert left, as well as Head and Hatfield so those are some major pieces that could be gone next year.

                      CHAMPION WEEK

Once again Championship Week is here and once again the outcomes of these games will decide many schools fate in their chance at a National Title.

                      BIG 12
#2 Texas Tech will square off against #10 K-State in the Big 12 Title game, with TTU's spot in the 12 team playoff a lock, the only question is will they be a Top-4 seed with a "Bye" or will the Wildcats end the 9 game winning streak and secure their own spot at the table.

                      BIG 10

#1 (11-1) Ohio State will take on #4 (10-2) Michigan in "Nothing But Hate". Both teams are probably a lock so at this point this game is just deciding who gets the 1st Round "Bye"

                      CUSA

#6 (12-0) Kentucky will face #17 (9-3) Ole Miss. For Kentucky it's all about staying perfect and securing that Top-4 seed. For the Rebels it's all about finishing strong and getting that 10th win, as I doubt they will move up enough to secure a spot at the table..

                      AMERICAN
#16 (11-1) UTSA lost 1 game this season but it was a big one as #25 (9-3) Sam Houston ties the Road Runners with a (7-1) conference record securing a spot against (7-5) Kansas.. For UTSA fan's its a disappointing end to a great season. As it sits now in the projects no one for the American make the playoffs.

                      PAC-12

BSU started #6 in the Pre-Season Poll's but went 2-3 to start the year. The Broncos however won 7 straight including going 5-0 in Division play to finish (9-3) Overall and are back in the Polls at #5. Boise State will face #14 (10-2) Cal for the Pac-12 title. Even if the Broncos lose, projections show them still making it despite 4 loss's. For Cal a spot and the Pac-12 title are on the line.

                      SEC

2 Weeks ago CPU projections had 4 teams from the SEC making it to the playoffs, but a Week 11 loss by Alabama to Louisiana and a Week 12 loss by Florida to Florida State changed all that.

Now its #9 (10-2) Auburn taking on #3 (10-2) Miami for the SEC title.. Even a loss by the Tigers will most likely see them still grab a spot but we will see.

                      ACC

#15 (9-3) Virginia Tech won their last 8 going 8-1 in ACC play to jump pass #7 (10-2) Maryland who went 7-2 as they secure the Coastal Division.

#23 (10-2) NC State beat #11 (10-2) Coastal Carolina in the regular season and both teams tied in conference play sending the Wolfpack to the title game against the Hookies leaving 2 higher ranked teams sitting home...

This one is hard to figure out as current playoff projects has both the Terps and Chanticleers both in well the ACC champ is left out.

                      MAC

#22 (9-3) Bowling Green made the playoffs last year securing a Top-4 seed and actually advance to the Semi Finals before losing to TTU. Now the Falcons are just looking to repeat as Conference Champs as they take on (7-5) Ball State.

                      SUN BELT

(8-4) UAB is back for a 2nd straight year, only this time a playoff spot isn't in the works even if they repeat as champs. #20 (11-1) FAU deserves a spot at the table if they win, but most likely they won't get it.

                      MOUNTAIN WEST

Fresno State is playing in it's 4th straight MWC title game since moving back after trying to play in the Pac-12 for a couple seasons. The Bulldogs went (9-3) this year but are unranked as they take on (8-4) Colorado State with no playoff spots on the line.

RED RAIDERS MAKE IT 5 IN A ROW!!!

Coach Ryne Scott has done it again. Leading TTU to their 5th straight Big 12 title as the Red Raiders defeat #10 K-State for their 11th win of the season securing the #2 seed in the Playoffs as they look to try and win a 3rd straight National Title and 4th in 6th seasons.

                        GAME RECAP

TTU got things going by scoring on the opening drive in just 1 play as Freddie Vildor hits Brian Head on a 72 yd bomb to make it (7-0). The Wildcats though answer back with their own big play as SR QB Ellijah Ahlers (84 ovr) hits SO WR Villiiam Fatua (79 ovr) on a 42 yd strike to tie the game (7-7) just 3 minutes into the game.

TTU however would score 14 unanswered to finish out the half and that would be the difference, as Vildor connects on a pair of scores with Rico Hatfield to make it (21-7) at the half..

K-State opens up the 2nd half with another Ahlers to Fatu connection to make it (21-14) but TTU answers back with a 11 play drive ending with a 5 yd TD run by Sean Byham to take the lead back to 2 scores (28-14).

K-State struggling to establish a ground attack goes back to the air as Ahlers finds JR WR D. Atogwe (80) on a nice 24 yd pass and catch TD to make it (28-21).

Then it was the K-State Defense stepping up to pick off Vidlor inside the endzone to kill a scoring drive, but 3 plays later it was the TTU "D" stepping up as RS FR MLB Chester Rutter takes a fumble recovery 23 yds for the score as Texas Tech goes into the 4th leading (35-21).

Well the Offense was the showcase for most of the first 3 quarters for both teams, it was the Defense that finished the game out, as K-State picks off Vildor early in the 4th turning the turnover into a 33 yd FG to make it (35-24) but then it was TTU coming up with another fumble recovery as they also add 3 points on the turnover making it (38-24) with under 5 minutes to play..

Down by 2 scores K-State knew they need to score quickly but the Johnathan Baggett was ready as the SR CB picks off Alhers for his 5th INT of the season as TTU closes out any chance at a comeback.

                        FINAL SCORE TTU-38 K-STATE-24

                        KEY PLAYERS

                        QB F. Vildor-15/21 (71%) 285 yds 3 TD 2 INT, 16 carries 84 yds rushing

Championship Week is over as 10 teams are now crowned Conference Champions, and now 12 teams are looking for the opportunity to be crowned National Champions.

#1 (12-1) Ohio State took care of business defeating #4 Michigan (34-14) in the Big Ten Championship and with the victory secure the #1 seed in the playoffs.

(10-3) Michigan drops to #7 and with that will secure the #7 seed in the playoff.

#3 (11-2) Miami is your SEC Champion after defeating #10 Auburn (42-24). With the win the Hurricanes secure the #3 seed, well the Tigers will be the #10 seed.

#5 Boise State has won it's 5th Pac-12 title but first one without Coach Scott's help as they defeat Cal (17-14). With the win the Broncos secure the #4 ranking in the final week and the #4 seed int the playoffs as they secure a 1st Round Bye.

#6 Kentucky moves up 1 spot to #5 with a (45-7) win over Ole Miss to win the CUSA title and with that also secures the #5 seed in the playoff.

#15 Virginia Tech moves up just 1 spot after a (31-28) win over #23 NC State to win the ACC title. The victory was not enough to propel them into the playoffs.

#20 Florida Atlantic is your Sun Belt Champion with a (28-21) win over UAB, finishing the year (12-1) but that record is still not good enough to secure a spot at the playoff table.

#25 Sam Houston did the same beating Kansas (35-14) to win it's first ever American Championship but the Bearkats will have to settle for a Bowl game after a (10-3) season.

#22 (10-3) Bowling Green also doesn't make the playoffs after winning the MAC Championship (20-6) over Ball State

Despite a (32-20) win over Colorado State in the Mountain West Championship and despite a (10-3) record Fresno State doesn't even make the final Top-25 rankings.

So with the Top-4 seeds set and with 3 runner up's all taking a seat at the table (K-State also made it as the #11 seed), plus CUSA Champ Kentucky taking the #5 seed, that left just 4 spots left and here are your 4 teams.

#12 (10-2) Notre Dame is back in the playoffs ending a 5 year drought as they secure the #12 seed and a matchup with Kentucky for a chance at Boise State.

#9 (10-2) Coastal Carolina and #8 (9-3) Penn State each secure their spot as they will face each other for a chance at #1 Ohio State in Round 2.

#6 (10-2) Maryland will take on K-State in Round 1 for a chance to take on 33 Miami in Round 2.

CAN TTU MAKE IT 4 STRAIGHT

No one has every done it, and odds are it will never be done again. The last time TTU went into the playoffs with 2 loss's on the season we saw the Red Raiders fall in Round 2 to Wisconsin. With a matchup against either #7 Michigan or #11 Auburn, we could potentially see history made again but not in the way TTU fan's are hoping.

TTU LEAVES NEW YORK EMPTY HANDED!!

For the first time in the Coach Scott era at Texas Tech, not a single Red Raider came home with a award from the ESPY'S..

Virginia Tech SR QB Justin Incoom (80 ovr) swept the Player of the Year, Heisman and Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Ward as well as well as the Davey O'Brien.

Inocom threw for 3197 yds with 34 TD and just 5 INT this season, well adding 605 yds and 11 TD's on the ground. As a 4 year starter Incoom leaves V.T. with 11,169 yds with 94 TD and 40 INT through the air, and 2027 yds and 19 TD's on the ground.

                              Coach Scott
"Nobody knows what kind of #'s Michael Vick would've put up as a 4 year starter for the Hokies but I like to think it would be somewhat similar to Inccom.. Justin has had a great career"

TTU FINISHES REGULAR SEASON #1 IN BOTH OFFENSE AND DEFENSE

For the 1st time in the Coach Scott era at TTU, the Red Raiders finish the year #1 in both Offense and Defense.

TTU led the nation with 6,275 yds of Total Offense, #1 In Passing Offense with 4191 yds and #1 in Rushing with 2034 yds, well averaging 38.5 PPG (#2 behind Georgia at 40.7). TTU finished with 37 Passing TD's (#7) and 24 Rushing TD's (#2) well leading the nation with 275 1st Downs.

On Defense, TTU limited their opponents to 3273 Total yards of Offense, a nation's best 2175 yds of Passing Offense and just 1098 yds on the ground (#9) well allowing just 225 points scored (#7) well leading the nation with 54 sacks.

                              INT'S

Leading your team to a National Title and winning the Heisman and National POY award as a Freshman puts a huge target on yourself and there was no one who had a bigger target on them then SO QB Freddie Vildor. After throwing for 4850 yds with 53 TD's and just 12 INT's (including playoffs) as a Freshman, Vildor has a somewhat Sophomore Slump finishing the regular season with 3889 yds with 34 TD and 23 INT.

                              NFL BOUND??

NFL Mock Drafts currently have several TTU players projected as 1st Round picks like Seniors CB Johnathan Bagget, OLB Manuel Vizcaino as well as projected 2nd Round Picks in DT Fatitele Gash and DE Thad Leon.

However what has many Red Raider fans wondering as well as Coach Scott is what underclassman might join them.

Currently Sophomore WR Brian Head appears to be a lock (1st Round Buzz) as Head currently leads TTU with 1160 yds and 11 TD's after posting 1524 yds and 14 TD's as a Freshman.

Head isn't the only WR getting NFL scouts to look his way.. JR WR Rico Hatfield arrived at TTU and was quickly labeled a bust as a 5* Recruit and Top-10 in his class, but after a redshirt season, Hatfield has been nothing short of exceptional with 212 receptions for 3521 yds and 41 TD's over 3 seasons.

                              Coach Scott
"It's now a question if both Head and Hatfield will be playing on Sunday's, it's when will they be playing, and they are not the only ones. I expect Felix Addison will be joining them as well as the players we have ready to step into their shoes if they do leave like Craig Smyth and Carl Chunn"
Despite injuries over the last 2 seasons, JR RB Netori Morton is also mentioned as a potential early pick (2nd round buzz) Morton has rushed for 1960 yds with 23 TD's over 3 seasons.

Morton isn't the only TTU RB getting noteworthy Buzz (2nd Round as well) as SO JJ Robert's name is gaining notice by NFL scouts. List at 6'0 192 lbs, Robert has been a standout on Special Teams with a 23.0 KR average and a 10.0 Punt return average but this year with Morton out he has also stepped up in the run game posting a career high 88 carries for 465 yds with 3 TD after posting 58 carries for 331 yds and 3 TD last year.

                              Coach Scott
"There is not question in my mind that both Morton and Robert have the abilities and potential to be 1000 yd rushers on pretty much any team in the country, but sharing the backfield with each other as well as Sean Byham, they have shown they are willing to put the team and the team's succes before their own individual stats. Very much like Ashton Jeanty did for us well as I was at BSU"
JR DE Antwan Allgeier is also creating alot of buzz (5th round). Listed at 6'3 263 lbs Allgeier might be best suited for a OLB role at the next level, but with a average of 12 sacks per season (36 in his career) Allgeier has shown he knows how to get at the QB.

                              Coach Scott
"Antwan has been huge for us the past 3 seasons. There is a reason why he has worn the Captains C on his jersey the past 2 years. I personally would love to see him comeback and try and help us selfishly but I have said from Day 1 if a player on my team shows interest in turning Pro and if the NFL scouts show him that he will be a 4th round pick or better I will not interfere, but with NIL money now available to kids, I so no reason to turn to the NFL early if your only projected as a 5th-7th round pick and will try and talk you into staying 100% of the time"

                                1ST ROUND ACTION

#12 Notre Dame has been M.I.A from the playoffs since 2028, but made the most of making it this year as the Irish get revenge on the Wildcats for their Week 6 loss (24-14) to Kentucky in South Bend with a 20-7 victory, as they hold the Wildcats to just 169 yds of Total Offense.

Notre Dame advances to take on #4 Boise State in Round 2. Can the Broncos survive a upset?

#9 Coastal Carolina making the playoffs for the first time in this 10 year Dynasty made the most of it defeating Penn State (33-14).

Can C.C. make it 2 in a row against Big Ten opponents and take out #1 Ohio State

#11 K-State fresh off their Big 12 loss to TTU came close to pulling off the upset over #6 Maryland taking it (21-14) lead at the half and actually tied the game (35-35) with under 2 minutes to play, but the Terps come up big kicking a 33 yd FG in the final seconds to win the game (38-35).

Ellijah Ahlers threw for 336 yds with 5 TD and 1 INT in the loss

The Terps advance to take on #3 Miami, as the Hurricanes are looking to get back to the Natty for the first time since 2024.

#7 Michigan fresh off their Big Ten loss to Ohio State took care of business defeating Auburn as they score the go ahead TD with under a minute to play, as Auburn fails to get JR PK Kerry O"Connell in range for a game tying FG as the Wolverines advance (38-35) for the chance to take on #2 TTU.
