    NATIONAL SIGNING DAY RECAP

The Georgia Bulldogs made a late push signing 33 players to this years class (4-5*,27-4*,2-3*) to claim the #1 Class title.

Miami still building up their program after the National Title win in 2024 finished 2nd. They signed a full 35 man class (3-5*,25-4*-7-3*)

The Penn State Nittany Lions can't find away to beat Michigan or Ohio State on the field to win a Big Ten title, but they did manage to secure the better class this season landing the #3 Class with 34 signings (2-5*,23-4*,9-3*)

Oklahoma came in 4th. The Sooners were 1 of 2 schools in the Top-10 not to sign 30 or more players coming in with a class of 29 (3-5*,14*,12-3*)

Oregon rounds out the Top-5 as they move up 1 spot on the final day. The Ducks landed 33 recruits but only 1-5* (TE H. Hook), with 26-4* and 6-3*

Notre Dame (34/#6), Alabama (35/#7), Ohio State (30/#8), Tennessee (32/#9) and Texas (25/#10) round out the rest of the Top-10

      TEAM PREVIEW

      (Overall Rating) (R=Redshirt)

      QUARTERBACK

RS SR Malachi Nelson (88) returns as QB1 after missing part of the 2025 season and the first 3 games of the 2026 season, Nelson returned to throw for 3989 yds with 47 TD's and 9 INT, well completing a career 74% of his throws. He already owns 2 school records for most yards in a season and most TD's in a game. Question is now will he become the 1st ever Bronco QB to be taken in the 1st Round of the NFL Draft.

RS JR Kaleb Annett (72) takes over as QB2 with the graduation of Madsen Maddux. Annett played against Utah in Week 14 of the 2025 season completing 12/14 pass's for 97 yds and 1 TD. He doesn't have the game experience that Maddux had and if Nelson goes down, it could be a long season for the Broncos.

RS FR Kevin Grubb (68). A 4* recruit last season, Grubb comes off his redshirt jumping into the active roster as QB3. Still very raw, BSU will have to hope he doesn't need to see the field this season.

      (R) FR Willie Smoker (75). Smoker almost won the QB2 job in the spring and would see action in a few games with hopes of keeping his redshirt intact. He is currently being billed as the heir to QB1 next season, but he will need to impove on his deep ball accuracy (75)

      RUNNINGBACK

SR Cameron Bates (91), Bates makes the move to the backfield after serving as the teams primary return specialist the past 3 seaseons. He was also the teams #5 WR in 2025 catching 11 balls for 229 yds and 3 TD showing off his big play potential.

RS SO Montrell Zuber (84). Zuber missed a few games last year early in the season with a injury and managed just 46 carries over the season, with half of those coming in the last 2 games of the playoffs. He did rush for 231 yds (5.0 Avg) and scored 4 TD's well aslo catching 9 balls for 76 yds and a score, showing he is ready to take on a bigger role this year.

RS JR Sire Gaines (81) Gaines like Zuber missed some action last year but like Zuber showed he will be apart of the run game this year. In 2026 he had 44 carries for 163 yds 1 TD and in 2025 he had 21 carries for 96 yds and 2 TD. He also has 7 career receptions for 66 yds and a TD.

RS JR Dylan Riley (83) Riley like Bates has spent more time returning kicks (10 for 331 yds and 1 TD in 2025). But he did manage 20 carries for 89 yds (4.4 avg) with a 1 TD backing up Dubar when Gaines and Zuber were hurt last season. He also has 4 rec for 25 yds and a TD.

RS SO Angelo Upshaw (78). Upshaw is the biggest of the Bronco's RB's at 5'9 231lbs he is built alot like former Bronco great Doug Martin. Upshaw could see a move to FB to get on the field more in 2027, but he did manage 6 carries for 18 yds (3.0 avg) with 1 TD last year.

      (R) FR Tim Webb (64). Webb was a late addition to last year's class, but the goal is to always have at least 1 QB and 1 RB in every year's recruiting class to maintain depth.

      FULLBACK

SR Kaden Anderson (81). Anderson is a converted TE who returns for his 3rd season as the Broncos lead blocker.. He hasn't recorded a career carry yet but he does have 9 receptions for 70 yds.

RS SO Kolby Malik (73) A 3* Athlete Recruit, Malik spends the bulk of his PT on Special teams but will get a chance to take over the starting FB job next season.

      (R) FR Pat Tucker (68). Another late addition to last years class. Tucker is a depth piece that could push Malik for the starting FB job next year unless Upshaw makes a position change.

      WIDE RECEIVER

      RS FR Alex Harris (86)
. When the former 4* was recruited, he was viewed as a Prince Strachan clone with both players being 6'5. Harris redshirted last season and had a great spring (jumping 11 points) has he takes over as WR1.

RS SO Anthony DiMarco (79). The former 3* had a breakout year last season recording 69 recp for 1235 yds and 17 TD's. . He also showed the ability to make big plays on the ground with 19 carries for 82 yds (4.3 avg) and 2 TD.

RS SO Terron Sermon (76) The former 4*, led the Broncos last year with 80 receptions finishing with 1260 yds and 14 TD.

RS SR Tyshawn Liggins (76). Liggins had a breakout year in 2025 with 46 rec for 704 yds and 5 TD, but fell on the depth chart last year to #4 and recorded just 18 rec for 270 yds and 1 TD.

RS SO Ronald Lincoln (74). The former 3* redshirted last year and will have to wait till Liggins graduates before getting a potential bigger role in the offense.

RS SO Brian Cordero (72). Cordero played as a true freshman in 2025 recording 4 receptions for 76 yds and 1 TD, then redshirted last season but didn't see the growth he was hoping for in order to move up the depth chart.

      (R) FR Tyree Lamar (67), (R) FR Tremaine Keyton (66), (R) FR Rico Harris (66) and (R) FR Emanuel Sharp (65) will all Redshirt and look to earn a role next season on the active roster.

      TIGHTEND

RS SO Carlos Mack (83). Mack had a solid Freshman campaign recording 65 rec for 643 yds and 8 TD taking over the starting role from 2 year starter Matt Lauter. The former 4* should have the starting gig wrapped up for the next 3 seasons as he looks to establish himself as one of the Best TE in the nation.

RS FR Prince Nkansah (74) and RS FR Robert Lamb (74) will rotate as the Broncos #2 TE after both redshirting last year.

      (R) FR Ramon Swope (66) Another late addition to last year's class. He is a depth piece.

      O-LINE

RS SO Pat Witzman (82) will take over as the team's starting LT.

RS SR Jason Steele (84) moves from the starting center job back to LG where he was for his first 2 years as a Bronco. He is the lone Senior starting on the O-Line after having 4 on last year's line.

RS SO Clyde Eakin (82) takes over as the teams starting Center.

RS JR Chris Rozman (82) takes over as the teams starting RG.

RS SO Raekwon Tackett (82) takes over as the teams starting RT. Tackett is a former 4* recruit.

RS JR Trevor McKenna (73) will be the primary backup at Tackle.

RS JR Eyitao Omtinugbon (82) and RS SO Kemani Clausen (82) are former 4* recruits who will be the primary backups at Guard. Both could push Rozman for the starting RG job this year and will push each other to take over for Steele next season.

RS SR Carson Rasmussen (79) is the primary backup Center. He will serve as the teams long snapper.

RS SO Dominick Kalis (73), RS FR Eric Villia (76) provide additional depth on the active roster.

      (R) FR David Wooleyhand (75), FR Lee Udeze (73), FR Tyrell Hix (64), FR R. Brutus (75), FR Cedric Pride (70) FR J. Oguleye (69) FR Quintin Eason (67) 5* FR Sean Flowers (76) will all Redshirt this year. Flowers could make a change to Guard next season or possibly to the D-Line as he was recruited as a Athlete.

      D-LINE
The Broncos will look to replace 13.5 sacks from Virgin-Morgan last year.

JR Roman Cayword (87) rotated last year at DE and registered 5.0 Sacks. He will look to take on a bigger role with V.M. gone.

SR DeManuel Brown Jr (84) recorded a team high 10.0 sacks in 2025 but rotating with Cayword last year saw his #'s drop to 6.5. Hopefully back in a fulltime job he can be the guy to replace V.M. as the Broncos main pass rusher.

RS JR Todd Hannon (84) A former 2* Hannon has yet to produce huge #'s posting a 34 career tackles including 10 TFL and 2.5 sacks over 2 seasons.

SR Karter Menz (77) The former Wyoming transfer has been pretty much a depth piece recording a assisted tackle and .5 sack last year.

RS FR Tommy Merchant (75) The former 3* was recruited as a OLB but moved to DE. He will look to push Hannon for a starting job next season.

RS SR Frank Solaita (81) and RS SR Michael Madrie (81) rotate as the teams starting DT. Solaita actually posted great #'s in 2025 with 34 Tackles (11 TFL) and 10.0 Sacks, but didn't record a single sack last season. Madrie has been a depth piece who has only 3 career tackles.

RS JR Lopez Sansusi (77) has yet to record a single stat.

RS SO David Barnhardt (75). A former 4* and highest rated recruit in the 2025 class, Barnhardt played as a true freshman recording 5 Tackles but redshirted last year. He will push Sansusi for the starting DT spot next year.

      LINEBACKERS

RS SR Chase Martin (85) was named a Defensive Captain for the season. He recorded 41 Tackles (3 TFL) and 2 INT last year.

SO Zach Eddy (81) A former 5* recruit, Eddy played last year as a true freshman recording 59 Tackles (44 Solo, 4 TFL) with .5 sacks and 1 INT.

RS JR Jamall Shivers (86). Shivers had a huge game sealing INT against Oregon and finished last season with a team high 88 Tackles (69 solo, 13 TFL) with 5 sacks and 2 INT.

RS SO Cortney Mewhort (82) will be the primary backup at all 3 spots. He had 8 tackles last year as a reserve.

RS JR Clay Martineau (81) also will be a primary backup at all 3 spots and push Mewort for Martin's starting job next year. Martineau has 23 career tackles with 2 TFL and 3.0 Sacks.

RS FR Kona Tinoisamoa (77) The former 4* recruit redshirted last year and provides excellent depth.

      (R) FR Alani Butt (75), FR Jameel Lovelace (69), FR Dorian Mauldin (73) and FR Josh Yates (67) will all Redshirt this season. Both Butt and Mauldin were 4* recruits in last year's class.

      DEFENSIVE BACKS

RS SO Gill Parris (86). The former 4* recruit had a great spring (jumped 8 points) and appears ready for CB2. He recorded 33 Tackles and 1 INT last year as the teams #3CB

RS SR Frankyln Johnson Jr (81) is CB1 by default. Johnson is best known for his game sealing INT against Michigan, but he returns after serving as a starter the past 2 seasons. He has 6 career INT.

RS JR Treyvon Tolmarie (83) takes over as CB3.. Tolmarie has recorded 30 career Tackles and spent time last season as the teams punt returner (22, 193 yds 8.8 Avg) as well as returned 7 kickoffs (197 yds, 28.1 Avg).

RS SO Jamie Cherry (79), RS SR Keany Parks (77) and RS FR Britton Mayden (77) provide excellent depth. Cherry and Mayden will push Tolmarie for the starting job across from Parris next season.

RS SR Ty Benefield (85) is the teams starting FS and a Defensive Team Captain. He has been a starter the past 2 years and has averaged 58 Tackles per year with 3 career INT and 5 Pass Deflections.

RS SR Gabe Tahir (83) provides excellent depth but hasn't found the field much with just 9 career tackles.

RS JR Travis Anderson (74) again takes on a reserve role and will play special teams but looks like he could be the starter next season unless BSU recruits a true freshman ready to start or if Cherry or Mayden move over from CB.

RS SR Nick Hawthorne (79). Hawhthorne started last year and finished with 53 Tackles

RS SR Wyatt Milkovic (77). Milkovic is a former LB who moved to SS last year and also started as BSU plays a primary 3-3-5 Defense. Milkovic recorded 67 Tackles (49 Solo, 3 TF) with 3 Sacks aind 1 INT.

RS FR Taji Coat (78) Another former LB recruit who moved to SS this spring and had a solid showing (jumped 10 points in training). he appears ready to take on a starting role next year.

      (R) FR Marco Damico (74), A former 4* recruit, he was the only DB recruit in last year's class. He will most likely take on a starting role next year with the graduations of Hawthorne and Milkovic unless BSU recruits in someone else ready to start Day 1.

      SPECIAL TEAMS

RS SO Juan Proctor (75) takes over as the teams primary PK with the graduation of J. Reeser. Proctor doesn't have a strong leg and it could limit BSU's ability to try long FG's next season.

      (R) FR Carl Myers (64). Myers a 3* Recruit was the #1 PK in last year's class. He will redshirt this year and look to push Proctor for kicking opportunites next year. He has a much stronger leg so he could be called on if BSU needs a big 45+ yard kick.

SO Evan Donahue (73). Donahue a former 3* who was the #1 punter in his class, had a solid year last year with 52 Punts for 2204 yds (42.4 Avg) with 10 punts inside the 20 and 7 TB's including a 60 yd long. He also could see some action trying FG's over 45 yds this year.

      Kick Returns
BSU has 6 players who have returned at least 1 kick over the past 3 seasons but Cameron Bates and Dylan Riley have the most experience and both have a 100 yd return in their career, but with Bates taking on a bigger role in the run game, it appears Riley (33.1 Avg) will be the primary return man.

      Punt Returns
Again Bates has the most experience (34 returns 422 yds 12.4 Avg) but we will most likely see Tolmarie and Riley handle most of the returns this season.

you've got a ton of depth at RB, not so much WR though. Hopefully Harris can step up early and often

defense looks to be pretty good and deep, should be a strong title defense season for the Broncos!

I actually feel pretty good about my WR's. We lost Strachan who gave us 3 years of 1000 yds and double digit scores, but Sermon and DiMarco were huge last year and Harris is a great replacement for Strachan, Liggins is a solid #4 and then Lincoln and Cordero can't rotate in the 5th slot plus I can always run Bates out there as a WR in 5 WR sets as well or use Baker my TE who is a great pass catcher.

I am a little worried about my D-Line and Safeties next year so I need to add some depth this year in recruiting and I really hope I can strike gold with a QB to push Smoker for the starting job replacing Nelson. I am shocked that Annnet and Grubb didn't get any better with Training.

            TOP-25 PRESEASON POLL

            (Overall/Offense/Defense)

The 2026 runner up's will start the year #1 as Michigan (89/89/89) takes the top spot to start the year. They will kickoff their season Week 1 vs #16 Miami

Oklahoma (87/86/89) starts the year #2 and will actually play Week 0, as they kickoff the 2027 Season against #17 Temple.

            Auburn (84/82/86)
spent 10 weeks in the #1 spot last season before a Week 12 loss to LSU. They kickoff their season Week 1 @ UCLA

Ohio State (90/89/91) starts the year #4. They Buckeyes made the Semi Finals before falling to Michigan. Can they find away to beat the Wolverines this year? They start Week 1 vs Air Force.

Florida (86/86/87) rounds out the Top-5. The Gators made the playoffs last year despite 3 loss's and not playing in the SEC title game. They will kickoff the season @#13 Cal

Oregon (89/89/90) starts the year #6. The Ducks also made the playoffs despite not playing in the Pac-12 title game. They will need to find away to dethrone the Broncos. Their season starts Week 1 vs #19 Wisconsin.

LSU (86/87/86) starts the year #7. It's good to see LSU back among the Top teams in the nation. Question is can they beat Alabama,Auburn,Georgia,Florida and UCF to stay there. They kickoff the year hosting Houston.

UCF (85/85/85) The Knights played in the SEC title game and lost but still made the playoffs. Are they good enough to stay among the SEC elite or was last year a fluke. They kickoff their year @ North Carolina.

Boise State (88/87/90) starts the year #9. The Defending National Champions are coming off a perfect season and will look to defend their crown with a very tough non-conference schedule featuring 2 Top-25 teams but first they play Texas Week 1 on "The Blue"

Georgia (91/91/91) rounds out the Top-10 at #10, but their stay could be short lived or they could indeed show they might be the best team in the country after their Week 1 matchup vs #11 Clemson (90/89/82)

            Rest of the Top-25

            #12 Nebraska
            #13 Cal
            #14 Colorado
            #15 Stanford
            #16 Miami
            #17 Temple
            #18 TCU
            #19 Wisconsin
            #20 Notre Dame
            #21 SMU
            #22 Texas A&M
            #23 Tennessee
            #24 Liberty
            #25 Oklahoma State

            HEISMAN WATCH LIST

The Heisman watch list has some interesting vacancies as in there is not a single QB on the list to start the season including BSU's Malachi Nelson.

SR WR Joshia Trader (94 Overall)-Miami
"Trader had a huge year as a Freshman with 87 rec for 1048 yds and 11 TD. He degressed in 2025 with 64 rec for 891 yds 6 TD and then last year had just 51 rec 768 yds and 5 TD"

SR HB James People (94 Over)-Ohio State
"Peoples had a break out year last year with 230 carries for 1122 yds and 13 TD on the ground and another 45 rec for 430 yds and 4 TD in the air.

SR WR Aidan Mizell (93 OVR)-Florida
"Mizell had 76 rec for 1092 yds and 10 TD in 2025 and 64 rec for 893 yds and 8 TD last year.

            SR HB Ca'Lil Valentine (92 OVR)-Illinois
"Valentine hasn't had the success Illinois fan's had hoped for when he arrived on campus. He didn't register a single carry as a Freshman, then in 2025 he logged 159 carries for 555 yds and 8 TD then followed it up last year with just 109 carries for 498 yds and 5 TD.

JR WR Kam Mikell (92 OVR)-Colorado
"Led the Buffs with 77 rec for 1307 yds and 11 TD last year after putting up 64 for 929 yds and 10 TD as a Freshman"

              2027 TEAM SCHEDULE

The #9 Broncos will start their defense of their National Title and see how long they can extend their winning streak starting in Week 1 against unranked Texas.

It's not every year that Texas doesn't start as a Top-25 team and honestly I am not sure why they are not (90 Overall/90 Offense/90 Defense).

BSU will then move to Week 2 and host #14 Colorado. It will be the first time either of these 2 schools have played on the Blue turf but I guess that is what winning a National Title does.

BSU continues their difficult non-conference schedule in Week 3 @ #8 UCF before closing on non-conference play in Week 4 @ Rice.

BSU will have Week 5 as a "BYE" before starting their Pac-12 schedule.

The Broncos will play @ UCLA in Week 6 then it's the Battle of the Milk Can hosting Fresno State in Week 7 before starting Pac-12 North schedule.

              Week 8 @ BYU
              Week 9 vs #9 Oregon
              Week 10 vs Washington
Week 11 vs Washington (Senior Night)
              Week 12 @ Oregon State
              Week 13 @ Utah

Well Utah has become BSU's final game of the season for the past 2 years since joining the Pac-12, Oregon has become BSU's #1 rival. It will be interesting to see if the Broncos can make it 4 in a row over the Ducks..

                TURNOVERS PLAGUE LONGHORNS

Texas came into the game with a new starting QB with the graduation of Archie Manning. RS SO Davarius Loyd (82 Ovr) takes over. Loyd is a former 4* from West Monroe Louisiana.

The Longhorns however have great depth at RB with SR Jerrick Gibson (83 Ovr) and UTSA transfer Brandon High (83 Ovr). High ran for 634 yds and 4 TD last years for the Road Runners. They will be backed up by a pair of talented 4* FR. Rashard Livings (79) and Dillion Lamur (78).

                GAME RECAP

Both team's Run Defense was on point today as the 2 teams combined for just 61 yds on the ground (36 yds by Texas, 25 yds by BSU).

Early turnovers by Loyd (2 INT and a Fumble), lead to 31 unanswered points by the Broncos in the 1st Half as they go into the locker room up (31-7), after Texas finally gets on the scoreboard with just 12 seconds to play in the half.

Well Lloyd struggled, SR Malachi Nelson was not. Nelson completed 14/18 pass's in the first half for 200 yds and 3 TD's.

The 2nd half however was a much different ball game. Nelson would complete just 7/20 in the 2nd half, was sacked once and would guide the Broncos to just 1/6 3rd down attempts after going 5/8 in the 1st half.

Well Texas struggled converting 3rd downs (4-15) they more then made up for it converting on 4th down (4/5) as they score twice in the 4th Quarter converting both 2pt plays to pull within 8 (31-23). A late 4th Quarter fumble by the Broncos gave Texas the ball back with just over a minute to play, but Lloyd was unable to lead the comeback charge. Loyd finished 21/31 for 240 yds with 2 TD and 2 INT.

                  BUFF'S SNAP BRONCOS WIN STREAK!!

The #14 ranked Buffalo's came in to Boise with 1 goal. Snap the Broncos 17 game win steak and their 13 game home winning streak dating back 2 seasons.

                  GAME RECAP

Colorado jumped out to a early (14-0) lead before BSU finally found the scoreboard with a 46 yd FG by Juan Proctor to make it (14-3). Then the game was 2 boxers trading blows as both teams add 2 more TD's to the scoreboard to make it (28-17) with just under 4 minutes to play in the half.

BSU would add another score with just under 2 minutes to play as WR Terron Sermon takes a jet sweep 10 yds for the score to make it (28-24) and then after a 25 yd return on a INT by SS Nick Hawthorne, Nelson would scramble 24 yds to set up another Proctor FG with 2 seconds to play in the half make it (28-27).

BSU opened the 2nd half with the ball and quickly score as Nelson dives in from 3 yds out to make it (33-28). The Broncos left the offense on the field but failed to convert the 2pt play. Colorado however quickly answered back with their own touchdown and unlike BSU convert the 2pt play to make it (36-33).

Still trailing by 3 in the 4th Nelson would try and go to the air but this time it was the Buff's D who was ready as they pick off Nelson twice leading to another Colorado score and ball game over.

Nice game against the Longhorns. Colorado St. came in looking like they had something to prove. It's time to get back on that saddle, and hopefully, you are able to meet them in the playoffs and revenge that loss.

It was actually Colorado the Buffs not Colorado State, but yeah they were solid and so far through Week 6 are actually undefeated there is a good chance they are a playoff caliber team for sure. The question is am I. I really actually have played 3 games I havn't posted and my run game is struggling and Nelson for some reason isn't playing the as good as last year at least so far. I think part of it is my O-Line isn't as good which is probably part of the run game problem too

BRONCOS PICK UP BIG ROAD WIN!!!

UCF started the year #8 but lost in Week 1 (45-0) to UNC dropping the Knights to #14.

                          GAME RECAP

It was a slow start for both teams as BSU takes a (7-3) lead after the 1st Quarter of play. BSU would extend their lead to (14-3), but to costly INT's by Nelson would lead to 3 straight scores for the Knights as they jump out to a (24-14) lead with less then 2 minutes to play in the half. With the ground game still struggling, Cameron Bates would finally break a positive run taking it 22 yds to set up a 34 yd FG by Juan Procter to make it (24-17) at the half.

BSU would open up the 2nd half with the ball but it took just 1 play to tie the game as WR Terron Sermon took a Jet Sweep 75 yds for the score. (24-24).

Still tied as we enter the 4th, UCF would retake the lead with 4:48 to play in the game as SO RB John Long (84 Ovr) breaks a run for 23 yds and the score.

With the ground game still struggling (1 run for 75 yds, 1 run for 22 yds, 16 runs for 32 yds ), Coach Scott would deploy a 5 WR set as Nelson worked the middle before finding Sermon down the sideline for 30 yd strike as BSU ties the game (31-31) with 2:41 to play.

UCF had plenty of chances to try and win the game in regulation but then back to back sacks pushed the Knights out of Field Goal range and despite facing a 4th and 8 would attempt to pick up the 1st Down. The Bronco D was ready again as they force a early pass that sails over TE T. Brahms (87 Ovr) as BSU takes over on downs.

BSU however wouldn't manage to get within Proctors range as they Broncos were forced to play for OT.

Sermon already with a rushing TD and a receiving TD would make it 3-Peat as he takes Nelson's pass to the house on the 2nd play of OT to give BSU the lead.

UCF now forced to score to push another OT series, would fail as the BSU "D" steps up big helping the Broncos to a huge road win.

                            BRONCOS WIN BIG OVER OWLS

The Broncos finally looked like the National Champions there are as both sides of the ball play a complete 4 Quarters as the Offense tally's 477 yds of Total Offense well the Defense limits the Owls to just 231 yds including just 2 yds on the ground. (21 carries 2 yds 0.10 avg) as Rice QB Chase Jenkins is sacked 6 times.

Tied (7-7) after the 1st Quater, BSU scores twice in the 2nd Quarter to take a (21-7) lead into the half. BSU would add to that lead in the 3rd scoring 2 more times to extend the lead to (35-7) as we head to the 4th.

For a 2nd straight game, WR Terron Sermon would turn a jet sweep into a big play score as he opens the 4th with a 65 yd TD run to make it (42-7).

Rice would manage to find the endzone late with under 2 minutes to play to make it (42-14) and despite trailing by 4 scores would attempt the onside kick. BSU would recover but instead of just running out the clock, the Broncos ran the offense setting up a 30 yd FG by Procter.

                            FINAL SCORE BSU-45 RICE-14

I love watching these guy's just fly down the field. It was cool to see Nelson find Tyshawn Liggins on the big play too. Ty has that ability to get behind guy's and make those big catches. Caywood (3 sacks) and Brown (1.5 sacks) were huge too never really giving the Rice QB time to make his throws (17/33 51% on the day)"

BRONCOS ADD ANOTHER ARM TO THE STABLE!!

With QB1 Malachi Nelson playing in his final season, Coach Danielson and Coach Scott knew that finding a QB to battle current redshirt Willie Smoker next season was priority #1 for the Broncos this recruiting season and it took only 4 weeks for them to land one.

4* Gerald Everett is listed at 6'2 215 lbs and is from Pasadena CA. Rated the #132 Overall Recruit in the class and the #15 QB in the class, Everett offers a great arm (94 THP) and some wheels (85 Speed, 89 ACC, 84 Thrown on the Run).

                              Coach Scott
"Everett already has a strong arm then Nelson (90 THP) and should make for some great competition this spring for Willie. I am excited to see who emerges. Willie already said he is excited for the battles ahead."

Missed a lot over the last week - congrats on the natty! That game against Michigan was an absolute classic, and Malachi Nelson is just unbelievable - it's wild that he didn't win the job IRL. I'm a little surprised virtual Nelson didn't leave for the NFL Draft, though I'm not sure how much overall rating and everything factors in with the new game.

Still looking forward to where Coach Scott starts his HC career, but I don't blame him for staying to ride into the sunset with Nelson. That loss to Colorado would be a killer if we still had one of the old playoff/BCS systems, but thankfully with the 12-team playoff you're not hurt too much from it.
