Are there any other teams from any other conferences you haven't played in yet during this dynasty offering? Would maybe think going Sunbelt again or staying in the ACC might cause you to lose interest.

Of the ECU/Jacksonville St. choices. I think ECU would be a good one. They have a nice big stadium, and a lot of rivals in that small area. Then again. Your idea of going to Jacksonville St. and turning them into a powerhouse to challenge Alabama, and Auburn sounds fun as well.

I really like ECU's Stadium and Uni's.. I also like the roster alot.. I do like Jax State's roster and I have not spent any time in the Sun Belt, so I could enjoy 3 or 4 seasons there but my only option after that would be the SEC cause they don't really fit into any of the other conference regionally.. There stadium is decent but like FIU they are capped at like 27,000 so its a pretty small for a Power 5 Conference.. I have played the Pac-12 and the Big 12 in my Coach Scott Dynasty.. CUSA, Big Ten and ACC in Coach Miller.. I basically havn't spent time in the Sun Belt, MAC or the American.. I do have Vanderbilt and Memphis in the American, so I guess I could move Jax State to the American and have them play in the Southern Division..

For some reason I thought it was Sunbelt and not C-USA. [emoji2357][emoji1787]

            MCCRACKEN RUNS AWAY WITH HEISMAN!!

Ohio State Jr RB Cameron McCracken hit the Trifecta this season winning the National Player of the Year (Maxwell) the Heisman and the Doak Walker (Best RB).. McCracken finished with 1892 rushing yards on 234 carries (8.1 avg) with 18 TD's .

Reports are McCracken a former 5* has already announced his intentions to return to Ohio State for his final season.

Both Ohio State HC Matt Miller and FIU HC Barry Valdez were edged out by Tulane HC Louis Neighbors for the Bear Bryant given to the countries "Best HC", but this year's "Broyles Award" went to Ohio State DC Trey Honeycutt who edged out OSU OC Damone Sneed (2nd) and FIU OC Clayton Dees (5th) as well as FIU DC Max Eldrenkemp (6th) (Tulane OC and DC finished 3rd/4th).

FIU SR QB Kevin Pounds finished 3rd in the Heisman vote but still managed to take home the Davey O'Brien (Best QB) but lost out on the Unitas Golden Arm Award to Tennessee's Henry Biggs.

McCracken showed the nation what was up. Nice to see Pounds still adding to his trophy case his last year. Let's see if he adds anything else before he goes to the draft.

                    GAME RECAP

Matt Miller improved to 3-0 lifetime against his former team as the Ohio State Buckeyes defeat Boise State in the Orange Bowl on Christmas Day.

Ohio State was hit hard by injuries early with 3 Offensive Lineman spending time on the sidelines which lead to just 68 yds in the 1st half until Cameron McCracken broke a 21 yd run for a score with 3 minutes to play in the 2nd Quarter to make it (21-6) Boise State managed to cut the lead to (21-13) on a 41 yd TD strike by JR QB Jaden Nagy (86) but the Buckeyes answer in 1 play as SO Nick De La Rosa connects with Gary Cobb on a 80 yd bomb to make it (28-13) with 18 seconds to play.. Boise State however never gave up setting up a Kawai Regis FG as time expires to make it (28-16).

Boise State opened up the 2nd half with a huge 70 yd touchdown strike from Nagy to SR Nick Arceneux to cut the lead to (28-23)..

Then it was the Bronco Defense stepping up picking off De La Rosa to set up another Kawai Regis FG to make it a 2pt game (28-26)..

Another De La Rosa INT gives the ball right back to Boise State giving the Broncos a chance to take the lead late in the 3rd Quarter, but the Buckeye Defense answers the call picking off Nagy.

Miller had seen enough as he sits De La Rosa down bring JR QB Abdul Diabate into the game, after missing the last 3 weeks with a injury.

Diabate would answer as he completes 8/8 pass's to close out the game setting up a pair of short TD runs by Tam and DuBois, well the Buckeye Defense holds Boise State to another FG by FR Kawai Regis to close out the game.

**Both Cameron McCracken and Frederick Tam both spent time on the sidelines with injuries which allowed former 5* Lee DuBois a chance for a career high 5 carries and 41 yds including the final score of the game..**

Ohio State will now await the winner or #12 Georgia Tech vs #4 Tulane

Pounds has a pretty tough road with Penn State and then the winner of Oregon/Alabama, but we are going to give it a shot..

McCracken's # could've been even better had it not been for Tam's 600+ yds and 22 TD's.... But I like his chances to surpass 2000 yds in the playoffs and maybe even get to 20+ TD's as well.

Off and running for the playoffs! Good win to start things out for Ohio State - I'm sure any time you're playing against Boise, you try not to run things up against them! How does McCracken compare to Tavon Logan?

As for the Dees dilemma, I like the ECU idea and letting FIU try to maintain its level of success on its own. At this point, he certainly has earned his own head coaching job, and I think it'd be a cool story for him to try and take over at a school who was an early rival of the Panthers in this report.

Logan was a beast.. By far the best RB I have ever played with besides Ashton Jeanty at Boise State. Logan was a Power Back who had everything you wanted from a RB.. Power/Speed/the ability to run over and through defenders and actually was a pretty good receiver too. McCracken is a great RB but he is a 5'11 186lb Elusive back who actually doesn't even have elite speed (90 ovr).. He is actually a great receiver though (99 catch) and I think next year I need to utilize him more in that role and actually let Tam have a crack at being RB1.. Tam actually is closer to Logan in terms of overall talent and despite being 6'3 228 he is actually faster then McCracken.

I like the ECU roster alot but honestly the more I looked at it, I sorta felt like Dees basically could come in and win the ACC title in his first season with what he was getting. I am messing around with the Jax State roster a little now to see if it's where I want to go.. They are pretty good too, but I feel like going to the Sun Belt and winning a couple Conference Titles in more realistic for a 1st time HC who has only 4 years as a OC then taking over a team in a Power 4 conference.. But then again it's a video game world, so anything is possible..
