    It's because the OL is disengaging with the DL or LB's quicker.

    Slider adjustments mitigate this.

    If you use the game out of the box, you will get the results you are seeing until EA fixes it.

    I'd prefer to slider adjust and get a game I can be content with.

      but what im talking about is there is no block to disengage from. they backside de literally takes 2 steps ignored and run around the tkl and the rest of the line and meet the rb at the handoff. no chip block no nothing. just a free run to the rb. almost as if the blocking isnt programmed to block the right ppl?? ive had it happen when i was on d too and i was able to do same thing. take 2 steps nobody blocks me and turn 90 degrees and run parallel to oline and hit rb at handoff or right after. that cant be right.

        Yes, I saw that with my LT Bhackatari(sp). He went immediately to the second level to the LB's.

        And this was with all out of box sliders.

        Once I made the adjustments to sliders, this stuff was mitigated play now game.

        The game shouldn't be tested out of the box in play now games.

        Try the slider forum above.

        I'm not saying EA shouldn't fix issues with the game, I'm trying to point people to have fun with the game until EA fixes the issues with the game.

          yea i know. i dunno if sliders will fix blocking assignments but yea i always have to adjust sliders to make it playable. ive only changed a few so far as im playtesting. i like to get alot of gms in with various tms before i start slidering too much to make sure im not over reacting or its just bad player problems. so far the things im seeing are spanning across the board so i will hopefully start fixing some of it. but man i dunno how they can tune this outta the box as a baseline and say its ok and well balanced.

            I'm having good success in the user run game with run block at 60 and tackle at 39 for both user and CPU. The CPU is having runs blocked well enough, but they cut far too much on every run and it costs them.

            To me it seems like the AI isn't tuned to the sensitivity of RPM which when paired with the typical Madden AI backs that have Trent Richardson vision is a bad combination

                I just played a game on AP and upped the run blocking to max 100 for both CPU and HUM and actually had a decent, if still a tad low running game. Too bad I can't go to 110 I don't want to touch tackling because there were plenty of runs that eluded the first tackler.

                  I’ll tell you who hasn’t found one bit of the run game, the CPU. They have no idea what they are doing and can barely pick up a positive gain.

                    Not the experience I am having in my CFM games, coach.

                    I hope you are using the slider forum and not out of the box Madden. I agree, out of box, some wonky stuff appears and it's needs fixing, but in the interim, the slider forum is your friend.

                    Edit- Notice you are using Armours and they are a good set, especially following his edits.

                        I downloaded sliders through madden share during my EA Access trial and I run for 80-110 YPG and right at a 4 ypc average with Freeman and Atlanta. Vast majority of that is between the tackles. Back to back 1000+ yard seasons on All Pro.

                        Sliders are MODIF83

                            Does anyone else think there is a weird glitch or stutter step when the runner takes the ball in SLOW speed gameplay? Its so annoying.

                              Yes, Slow, Fast, are the speeds I tested. The sad part is the OL blocking is the best on those speeds. Everything is in-sync on default. RB stuck in mud glitch comes back to hurt us like it did in NCAA 14.

                              In regards to the discussion, I've gotten pretty close to the directness of running of the CPU RB. Happy with some videos I got to record today. Previously Elliot was spinning and juking all over the LOS:
