are we not able to adjust sliders while playing? I can only adjust them in the menu, I want to make some of these changes as they are bottling up Elliott easily. It's preseason so I use this time to work out sliders and such

I think you can only adjust sliders mid-game in Play Now and Practice. Not during either franchise mode (and TBH, not being able to do it in offline franchise mode kinda surprises me).Comment

The running feels just fine on simulation, all pro.
Just in real life, you average around 3 yards a carry with a good RB and you'll get stuffed all game long if you try to do it with a weaker back against a decent defense. Just like in real life, it's a struggle to get over 100 yards rushing with a mediocre running back.
My only gripe is that you can't really run a modern NFL "satellite back" scheme like the Saints do with Kamara by throwing to him in free space. The CPU clamps down on that every time.Comment

Idk....I use ID the mic and normally play on all pro. I adjusted human and cpu tackling to 40 and got 3.5 to 4 ypc out the gate. Also dropped fumbles to 40.

The CPU seems to be tough to stop when they pull 1/2 linemen. LB’s are a bit slow to react and don’t really hold their gaps down. But with good user control, it can be shut down. Outside of that, I haven’t had too much issue with the run on either side. Haven’t broken one for much but I have had a few plays where i hit the hole hard and it felt really smooth.Comment

That's right except I decided it was doing too well so I moved human tackling back to 35 LOL
Also under game options at very bottom Player Speed Parity Scale to 25

I've found in preseason my starter REALLY struggles, but backups are hit and miss.
Elliott had 9 carries for 28 yards in his 2nd preseason game. Austin had 3 carries for 6, Scarbrough had 9 for 49...so it's all over the place.
I actually prefer it over the OOTB running in 17, where I could average 6-7 YPC. It seems some slider work is in order, glad there's guys who workshop them.Comment

I can’t figure out the run game. My RB usually stops for a split second after getting the ball. Either that or I get stopped for a loss. It usually takes me 30 carries to get 80 yards.

You may be trying to cut too wide. I’ve done that quite a few times in the backfield which makes me come to a stop.Comment
